the so-called generic and flat designs are the good designs. simpler, easy to look at. they have nailed the simplicity in design, which is an important thing in design industry. it's just easier to look at, not a big mess of pixels cramped together and along with other messes. you should at least know something about UI/UX

IOS died a little once it went to IOS 7. The last of the good current IOS is 10 as it had a compact and clean control center plus it allowed the older 32 bit apps which are no longer around. I used an Iphone 5 with IOS6 from 2012 to October 2017 and loved every minute. IOS 11 coming out forced me to upgrade because of the previous items mentioned....#RIP

i know it’s dumb but iOS 7 gives me nostalgia. the wallpaper and text and everything just reminds me of when I was living at my grandmas due to some unfortunate home situations when I was still a child. my dad back then had a little iPad that he let me use and it was on iOS 7 when I got it. great, sad memories.

The music icon on that one that is clearly supposed to be iOS is wrong, it shows the iOS 7 one with the red gradient, rather than the new Apple Music one with the white icon and colored gradient in the music note. Other than that, this video is 👌
When the 20th major version of that mobile operating system comes in 2026, that over-simplistic flat design will be reverted to how it was before the 7th major version came out in 2013. That flat design was already disliked to a great degree by many people who prefer skeuomorphism over flat design, especially among baby boomers and other digital immigrants in which they actually prefer skeuomorphism because of usability reasons.
