I'm so glad to see you posting anything man! You're one of my favorite independent artists. I bought this album off you years ago and have enjoyed it ever since!
What a beautiful and cozy video for a beautiful and relaxing song.
How many years has it been since Chimes? Six? Seven? I used to be able to mumble along with this one and a few of your other songs, but most words slipped away over the years. Think I've still got Daddy-O. Maybe On Hold. Doesn't change how much I still appreciate your songs though.
Thanks for putting this up!
And can I guess what other song you're preparing? I hope it's New Chapter - that one spoke to me the most out of your Chimes songs.
I used to make content for the pony fandom - I wrote fanfiction and drew art, primarily - and I realised a few years ago I was trans. It's tough enough trying to grapple with that kind of life-changing realisation on its own, but on top of that I had followers (not many, but enough that my sudden disappearance would cause confusion and concern) whose presence meant I had to make a choice about whether to come out publicly or keep myself silent about something important to who I am. I eventually chose option 3: complete the stories and art I was still working on or promised to do, quietly announce my retreat from the fandom, and take some time on my own to follow my heart and figure out what I wanted. It kinda felt like I'd decided I was gonna live on a sailboat for a while.
There are still things which I struggle with - I left my old handle behind, though I tried to make sure my accounts were adequately archived for anyone who still kept my work in their favourites - but I can definitely say I feel better with time and I'm slowly starting to return to the activities I enjoyed both within and outside the pony fandom. It's been nice to return to familiar waters; I'd forgotten how much I liked making things, especially with friends.
Thank you for posting this song as a solo video! I loved Chymes when it first came out, and hopefully some people will take the opportunity now to listen if they missed it before. Love you Rhyme Flow!

Very nice. I like the meditative touch in the middle on top of the rhymes.
