I don't think licking my ears would be pleasant (earwax like mad, go for an itch and come back with a coat of wax, gross), so I recommend a cleaning... Though I should do that myself. I’m an older adult who records in the wee hours of the morning before most people wake up so I don’t get traffic and other outside noise the likelihood of someone coming in is null. Even if they did the people I live with know what I do I’m not ashamed or hiding it.
