The nilegreen one is really good, but for me, the lack of emotion in mark robot makes it really easy to point out. I think it's mainly because of how mark actually speaks in his videos.

Because mark has so many pictures of his own face on the internet at different angles its relatively easy to get a realistic deepfake. (As opposed to someone you only have 1 or 2 pictures of)
@chair although I completely understand where you're coming from, here's the debunking of 3 popular things that people worry about when it comes to deepfaking, because i dont like people being worried by the wrong problems in our world.
Court: They don't use things on the internet as evidence, they heavily analyse each clip even when it's not on the internet. Plus it could just adapt. Public/Internet: You can very easily tell if you should trust that a celebrity said something, just look for a verification mark or check where it's coming from in general. Ransom (aka the only one slightly worrying): Yes, someone could somehow get hundreds of photos of you to make a deepfake and threaten you with it. Is it efficient? No. Is it at all easy to do? No. Are there better ways to ransom you? Yes. Should you be worried about it? Slightly.
If we didn't have our entire planet falling appart, global diseases and such happening right now and for the next hundred years, then yeah it'd be important, but in comparison, it's like getting worried about a wasp stinging a child, while a train hurtles at them at high speeds. Plus you could just teach the kid how to avoid the wasps.

@TheInsanityDiver The scenes of mark are deep faked. Its quite good, actually, but if you're paying really close attention to his face its clearly not real. It probably helps to have some experience in this area to spot it.

This is eerily spot on. Like, it wasn't even the deepfake that gave it away, but the slightly different body type and movements, while the face looked perfectly normal. The voice has also gotten better since the NileRed video. I am genuinely impressed.
@Dave Zero it wasn't the body for me either. I've watched all of their videos. Both of them. They are similar in the way they want their videos made. And the voices just don't add up to me. But it's still eerily close. You definitely could fool some people with it.

This tells us a lot about moving stealthily: you can see that those thieves who were crouching were so well hidden that even Mark himself, while sprinting right besides them to chase the newbie who thought uncrouching would've been a good idea, couldn't spot them.

I like how the AI voice for Mark is developing. In this video it sounds more realistic yet robotic, and in other videos it sounds more patched together, but it’s more lively. Hopefully you can tune the energy from other samples into the newer, realistic-sounding model

at first I was excited at a new rober video. then I was disapointed that it was a fake. THEN I realized whos fake it was and now I'm just very very glad I watched this beautiful trainwreck.

I wouldn't usually reply in this great detail but it's fun to talk PC specs. It's mostly just the graphics card that matters for this. Deepfaking generally works best with a graphics card that has a high vram and I believe a high cuda cores count. I've tried an 8gb vram card but it crashed fairly often and was really slow. I've upgraded to a rtx 3060 with 12gb vram and works much smoother now. Oh and while saving the deepfake model it seems to just dump all the vram temporarily into ram memory so if you don't have enough ram it will crash while saving. I have 32gb ram. It couldn't save with 16gb ram while coupled with the 12gb vram but can with an 8gb vram card. Apart from PC specs, you're gonna need to learn a lot from tutorials and it still takes some skill to get a good deepfake. Not entirely sure what you're looking for, but I wouldn't say my videos are very replicable 😅. The deepfake is only the face and voice in this video. I'd say filming and editing skills are more important and more difficult to learn than deepfakes in creating my videos. So in terms of PC hardware for editing, It really depends on the editing program you use. Some prioritise CPU and others GPU or both. My CPU is a ryzen 7 3700x but it's probably overkill. But anyway, hope this helps give some perspective

Human's can feel creeped out by faces or voices that appear to be human at first, but aren't. the creepiest part to me, is that this felt perfectly natural. Good video, though.
That deepfake is too good. Like, not enough people even realise how impossibly good it is. There is no reason for a person to think that that is a deepfake. The only things that give it away is 1) The body structure And 2) The voice But ti be honest, the voice is so damn brilliant. It doesn’t have any audio issues and the only thing that gives it away is the lifelessness of Mark, although it’s still REALLY good. And all that is me not even talking about the rest of the video. This might be your best video yet. I loved the descent from "Mark Rober goes a bit too far with his new prank" to "Mark Rober goes insane and starts package-bombing innocent people", and all the deepfakes were incredibly convincing. You're bad at chemistry, but very very good at making these videos.
1:31-1:44 has some of the smoothest voice parodies in the video, especially when "Mark" says "class". It just has the ring to it. It's insane and I can only imagine what this will be like in a few years

AI tech. It's called deepfake, and it's very effective, while evolving constantly.
Basically, it works by feeding a neural network with *a lot* of audio and/or video footage of someone, to train it to reproduce voice or movements, generally only facial expressions. Then you can give it any text, and it will read it in that someone's voice, and you also can ( I don't remember the exact process, it may or may not involve another AI trained to recognize facial expressions ) paste that someone's face over any video footage of a human face.
You know who would probably fit in that universe? Tom Scott; and this time the vape isn't annihilating him but together with Mr Robers and NileGreen, he's annihilating humanity with a gigantic vape I'd also have suggested Michael REEEEEEEEEEEE but... the world's not even prepared for the real one
Also him being able to produce such videos is an extremely impressive showcase of what's possible with todays AI/technology and deepfakes. Absolutely incredible

I'm surprised we've gone this far, but it has been a pleasure coming up with new ideas, and helping just that bit in retaliating against the eternal threat that are porch pirates- and I must thank you all for supporting us. I promise this one will definitely not disappoint, since we've got even more tricks up our sleeve!
This guy has just come up to my porch and nabbed a package that I was clearly, very keen to open. But what he doesn't know, is that this is the world-renowned Glitterbomb 8.0, which may just end up being the last package he ever opens, when he lifts up the lid and takes a look inside at the little 'surprises' we've left in store for him.
Hey guys, so I really thought we had reached some form of limit- but then, I was reminded that science is an infinite field, and it keeps on expanding. There are so many creative ways to innovate and improve on your designs, so over the past year, we've done just that! I hope you're just as excited as I am, for perhaps my most ambitious project yet.
So first of all, we switched out the nuclear missile out entirely for a thermonuclear one- this should hopefully give off even more of a scare, and help us humiliate those porch pirates, which, of course, is our end goal here. So, me and NileGreen went to work on obtaining and placing the tritium, lithium deuteride, enriched plutonium, and a bunch more cool stuff that will help us overcome these thieves. I designed and created the foam filler, the neutron generator, where I designed a really neat, compact, linear particle accelerator that I, quite frankly, am really proud of, and the overall shell where all the magic will be happening. It took tremendous amounts of effort to successfully build one that was lightweight and small whilst still having that excellent impact, but due to the wonders of science, we made it happen!
I've also slightly upgraded the phones that will record the explosion so that video quality is just a bit clearer- something that has bugged me ever so slightly and should ideally improve viewing experience. I've also reintroduced the glitter by popular demand, as, let's be real, the glitter is the icing on the cake. This time, however, I've kept it super simple- I just funnelled my biodegradable glitter onto a small plate nested on top of the thermonuclear missile, as the force of the explosion should ideally escape the box and give the porch pirates a pleasant shock.
So, over several months, me and NileGreen went to work on these- working on the missiles, box design and this time, distribution- yes, we've sent these bad boys all across the USA, and even internationally in France, Greenland, Turkmenistan and Canada, for the sake of experimentation- we just wanted to see how other regions compared to the US, with its porch piracy notoriety. And it really didn't take a long for our first suspect to appear- lets take a look at the camera footage!

These videos are really funny but they can be over the top they jump right to it what you should do is something like what how to basic does they start off light with a few a few jokes so people dont notice anything off then they just go full on
How do you make the voice's and face's are you using deepfake's cos it look's like deepfake 'cos they dont move their eye's around and the lighting isn't aligned with the face and doesnt actually look like it has a specific source of light, and mark's face look's flat if you look at it enough, (the skin color also changes from neck to face)

I knew Mark Rober's body looked slightly off, his head was disproportionate to his body, and his face/cheeks seemed very... slim if I'm being nice, sallow if I'm being accurate, and the audio threw me for a massive loop (it wasn't a high quality recording) so I was immediately thrown off, checked to see YT Channel, figured it was a deepfake or parody.
Still though, for a few seconds I was thinking to myself "is he going through some tough times, he looks unwell... There's no way it's cancer right?" and then as I figured it out, he cussed and I realized it was fake.
But the fact it had me questioning if it was fake for a bit honestly impressed me. Deepfake is getting to the point to where, I'm sure in a few more years, I might just be unable to even tell the differences apart without further exploring or context clues (such as a no cussing, entirely in character video)

Im saying its fake because one. The voice sounds of. Two, the editing is very un-normal. Three this is fucking chotic. Four, Something is wrong with the head and the connection with the body.
Edit: I got to the end of the video and god I was right about this being not real.

3 likesCourt: They don't use things on the internet as evidence, they heavily analyse each clip even when it's not on the internet. Plus it could just adapt.
Public/Internet: You can very easily tell if you should trust that a celebrity said something, just look for a verification mark or check where it's coming from in general.
Ransom (aka the only one slightly worrying): Yes, someone could somehow get hundreds of photos of you to make a deepfake and threaten you with it. Is it efficient? No. Is it at all easy to do? No. Are there better ways to ransom you? Yes. Should you be worried about it? Slightly.
If we didn't have our entire planet falling appart, global diseases and such happening right now and for the next hundred years, then yeah it'd be important, but in comparison, it's like getting worried about a wasp stinging a child, while a train hurtles at them at high speeds. Plus you could just teach the kid how to avoid the wasps.
@chair Really good deepfake would 100% trick me but not this. This is funny and I love the content but the visual and audio artifacts instantly make this recognizable as fake.

I wouldn't usually reply in this great detail but it's fun to talk PC specs. It's mostly just the graphics card that matters for this. Deepfaking generally works best with a graphics card that has a high vram and I believe a high cuda cores count. I've tried an 8gb vram card but it crashed fairly often and was really slow. I've upgraded to a rtx 3060 with 12gb vram and works much smoother now. Oh and while saving the deepfake model it seems to just dump all the vram temporarily into ram memory so if you don't have enough ram it will crash while saving. I have 32gb ram. It couldn't save with 16gb ram while coupled with the 12gb vram but can with an 8gb vram card. Apart from PC specs, you're gonna need to learn a lot from tutorials and it still takes some skill to get a good deepfake. Not entirely sure what you're looking for, but I wouldn't say my videos are very replicable 😅. The deepfake is only the face and voice in this video. I'd say filming and editing skills are more important and more difficult to learn than deepfakes in creating my videos. So in terms of PC hardware for editing, It really depends on the editing program you use. Some prioritise CPU and others GPU or both. My CPU is a ryzen 7 3700x but it's probably overkill. But anyway, hope this helps give some perspective

Then you can give it any text, and it will read it in that someone's voice, and you also can ( I don't remember the exact process, it may or may not involve another AI trained to recognize facial expressions ) paste that someone's face over any video footage of a human face.
Its called deepfake! Look it up, its a learning algorithm.

I'm surprised we've gone this far, but it has been a pleasure coming up with new ideas, and helping just that bit in retaliating against the eternal threat that are porch pirates- and I must thank you all for supporting us. I promise this one will definitely not disappoint, since we've got even more tricks up our sleeve!
This guy has just come up to my porch and nabbed a package that I was clearly, very keen to open. But what he doesn't know, is that this is the world-renowned Glitterbomb 8.0, which may just end up being the last package he ever opens, when he lifts up the lid and takes a look inside at the little 'surprises' we've left in store for him.
Hey guys, so I really thought we had reached some form of limit- but then, I was reminded that science is an infinite field, and it keeps on expanding. There are so many creative ways to innovate and improve on your designs, so over the past year, we've done just that! I hope you're just as excited as I am, for perhaps my most ambitious project yet.
So first of all, we switched out the nuclear missile out entirely for a thermonuclear one- this should hopefully give off even more of a scare, and help us humiliate those porch pirates, which, of course, is our end goal here. So, me and NileGreen went to work on obtaining and placing the tritium, lithium deuteride, enriched plutonium, and a bunch more cool stuff that will help us overcome these thieves. I designed and created the foam filler, the neutron generator, where I designed a really neat, compact, linear particle accelerator that I, quite frankly, am really proud of, and the overall shell where all the magic will be happening. It took tremendous amounts of effort to successfully build one that was lightweight and small whilst still having that excellent impact, but due to the wonders of science, we made it happen!
I've also slightly upgraded the phones that will record the explosion so that video quality is just a bit clearer- something that has bugged me ever so slightly and should ideally improve viewing experience. I've also reintroduced the glitter by popular demand, as, let's be real, the glitter is the icing on the cake. This time, however, I've kept it super simple- I just funnelled my biodegradable glitter onto a small plate nested on top of the thermonuclear missile, as the force of the explosion should ideally escape the box and give the porch pirates a pleasant shock.
So, over several months, me and NileGreen went to work on these- working on the missiles, box design and this time, distribution- yes, we've sent these bad boys all across the USA, and even internationally in France, Greenland, Turkmenistan and Canada, for the sake of experimentation- we just wanted to see how other regions compared to the US, with its porch piracy notoriety. And it really didn't take a long for our first suspect to appear- lets take a look at the camera footage!

0 likesI knew Mark Rober's body looked slightly off, his head was disproportionate to his body, and his face/cheeks seemed very... slim if I'm being nice, sallow if I'm being accurate, and the audio threw me for a massive loop (it wasn't a high quality recording) so I was immediately thrown off, checked to see YT Channel, figured it was a deepfake or parody.
0 likesStill though, for a few seconds I was thinking to myself "is he going through some tough times, he looks unwell... There's no way it's cancer right?" and then as I figured it out, he cussed and I realized it was fake.
But the fact it had me questioning if it was fake for a bit honestly impressed me. Deepfake is getting to the point to where, I'm sure in a few more years, I might just be unable to even tell the differences apart without further exploring or context clues (such as a no cussing, entirely in character video)
