A ship got shipped and shipwrecked causing a ship that was shipping a ship to set sail. I approve.

Was one of my favorites two years ago. Left the fandom, couldn't stand the sight of pony. Now I'm back and I am reminded of how much I loved this simple little animation and song.

I love when classical and modern music come together like this.

As an ex-brony there arnt many brony songs I constantly return too. But this song has a special place in my heart and will do for a long time.

I love the way Vinyl's 8bit beat meshes perfectly with Octy's violin/cello serenade. Neither of them sound right alone. It takes both to make the song :) Nice job, both of you.

I find awesome that by combining a Title card, a few clever animation drames, and awesome music can tell a whole story in 2 minutes or so. <3 This is a classic! <3

As much as I like the music, I still disagree with the general consensus the fandom has reached on Vinyl Scratch. Octavia is the one with a non-electronic instrument, and the kind of knowledge she acquired in order to learn that speaks of a strict or at least pragmatic upbringing. Someone with that sort of thought process built into them would be at ease dealing with the shortcomings of the environment, in my humble opinion. Vinyl's hivemind-borne characterization leaves little room for flaws.

Vinyl is definitely the 'man' of the relationship, lol. If you mean the background pic, then yeah, I see what you're talking about.

I have a real problem with this video. Sometimes I just want to hear the music while I'm busy with something. But as soon as I open it I can't stop watching the dance.

Basically, you're open about a certain thing. The anime board uses "hiding your power level" as a term for hiding your absolute love and obsession of anime. You can replace anime with anything. Say, ponies, for example. It's just a 4chan phrase.

I think this song may have supplanted the Duck Tales theme in my brain. Not sure how I should feel about it, but at least the dance is better in this one. Excellent work, both referring to the music and the animation. It might look simple, but it's a deceptively good amount of detail in it. Love it.
