I know how to do a lot with programming. I'm a developer that does desktop and web applications. I made an entire software testing automation framework that is proprietary to my company in python. But now I'm taking that to the next level. Putting what research I need together to learn to be an ethical hacker. See you in the game!
@Kaiser ha! Its not special at all dude. It was a proprietary automation framework made for the company since they didn't want to update their code to something easy like .NET. Its not on the market, but its an amalgamation of other frameworks that exist today. I was just the guy that started the whole movement since it was an infant project. Nothing big at all or cool
I learned to program by reading "python the hard way" by Zed Shaw. then followed some online courses from udemy. still youtube contains some good solid tutorials like derek banas channel.
Next video: why people fail to learn how to shoot video in landscape mode instead of portrait mode. Your eyes are side by side, not one on top of the other.
I learn 4 programming language and I wanna be a hacker but through the use of books are too challenging may be dude u can help to show your way how u learn through books on next video
Learned programming by watching Indian guys having a trash mic with 5 FPS yellow circle cursor and also white IDE’s with bad quality that makes it very hard to read while all those Keyboard noises are going. It’s great tho. But almost all of them say see you in the next tutorial were they don’t post it for a few years and the description is almost blank were all comments are questioning about things were nobody answers it.
@0m3n i started with the easy one, Qbasic. Then i learned c++ because its easy and its similar to other harder languages. For cpp it took me about 1 month. Then i immidietly started learning web design. JavaScript came last at web design learning but since i knew cpp, i already knew the basics of JavaScript like , if, else, for and all that. It took me about 2 months. Then C# came for unity and It was the hardest one. It took me about 2months of really hard work. And pyhton took me about 1 week since i already knew all these big languages
@BazzaTheMan12 i was learning 3-5-h day and I never skiped a day in 6 months. I was searching for good youtube tutorials, especially for c# and Unity. On web i found rly good course but i had to pay so i said fuck that, lets focus on yt only
@Shivendra Singh for JavaScript i was watching Coding Train, especially because of p5 plug-in which is easier way of creating games. All other languages i was watching random videos but i will soon start uploading python for pen testing on my channel. This could potentially teach you how to test creatain server vulnerability(hacking) with python
@TVFilthyFrankson C++ is not easy lol. I'm sorry but you didnt learn all those languages in 6 months. Learning a language doesn't mean knowing how to write if and else statements. It's about being efficient in the language and C++ is considered one of the hardest languages to learn and you cant just learn the basic syntax and say you learnt the language. I'm not even hating im just saying facts.
@Spaghetta if you think C++ is easy because you can write a simple rock, paper scissors game then ur wrong. Python is literally English and no C++ is not easier. You obviously probaly think you know C++ because you how to write if and else statements lol.
@jake Davitt no dude, i knew how to write if else for statements before learning the language, i meant it was easier to learn something when it relatable to something that you already know!
@dhillon np dude just be persistent in what R u doing and am 100% sure you will see success out of it and definitely get some benefit from it! Just be yourself, strong, whatever you do!

Same but i learned lua, python, csharp, html, css, javascript in just 2 months i just keep watching the video till the end again and again till i memorized it and get it, after i memorized it and get it ill make some scripts in scratch from basic to advance then after a few days i procceed to learn a another coding language non stop but i rest too also im not gonna learn all coding language because some of them are useless only important ones but not all. Sorry for bad grammar
@Term Bot thats even crazier dude, great job. But all programming languages has theirs advantages and disadvantages so we can't say that some languages are useless, but we can say that they are not practicly used to create big projects like others can do. But still man, that's a lot of effort put in and i just hope you will find some benefits from the knowledge. ;)

@TVFilthyFrankson You too, i hope you will find a great job from the coding languages you learn and earn some money. Mostly the unity ones if you know how to make a game you can make a good one then publish it and youre gonna get some money depends on how addicrive, cool the game is, im saying this so the coding languages you learned is gonna be worth it. Or make some cool/big projects then sell it online. ;)
@Bhardwaaj seach freecodecamp python tutorial watch that video it will helped you alot. Make sure you have patient and good understanding the good understanding i mean is concentrate from what your doing first so you can understand and learn it fast.
I don’t feel like explaining my entire backstory but how I learned html specifically is I watched an OSFirstTimer video called “Mum Learns HTML” and I said “I wanna do that! I already know Batch!” And that’s how I started :P
Yeah but how many real world, $10-30k+ projects are doing for others? That's the key. I can learn the syntax all day, but crafting an excellent experience for someone just knowing syntax... Obviously feel free to tell me otherwise. This may just be MY learning deficiency at play.
@how foolish I have contributed to GCC & for now I'm busy working as a Dr Whenever, I have free time I learn a new language, cuz, why not But, I do want to get into machine learning & I'm currently learning Julia
Hey I’m trying to get into cyber security and hacking and I was just wondering what laptops you would recommend for someone starting out. I’d like to stay around 200 USD but can go to 300 USD if I need to. Idc if it’s used. And also would I need to learn coding before I take online courses for hacking? And I love what you do. I think it’s amazing and really hope you continue to grow and help spread how to be safe online. Obviously I’ll do more research myself but I was just hoping you could help me out some
You need a laptop having minimum 8 gigs of ram and i5 8gen processor. And in order to learn, Do Boot to root machines,Ctf,read books.Online courses hardly go into depth and Learn programming don't be a script kiddie.
I suggest starting from the fundamentals, you want to learn hacking and cyber security? Learn networking, computer science basics, data types and structures.
As for a laptop, something simple with a variety of ports. A Thinkpad would suffice. CPU get an i3 or higher ( Newer generation if possible ), 8Gb RAM @ 2400MHz or higher and an SSD would help in the future. Other specs like screen resolution or storage capacity is up to you, you decide what specs are right for your needs. If you want a laptop purely for hacking and coding then don’t overspend. Functionality is King.
Coding is a learning curve generally you should try python. Great starter language. There are plenty of resource available with a few searches.
Get a T-series Lenovo ThinkPad. Something like T440p or T540p should be enough, and they aren't that expensive. You can even buy a low spec version and throw in a better CPU, more RAM and an m.2 (SATA) SSD further down the road. Just make sure the exact model you're buying has a replaceable CPU, because some, like T440s for once, don't. You can have as much as 16 gigs of RAM and a 3.9 GHz quad core 8 thread CPU if you max it out, which is actually impressive for a laptop.
Another option will cost even less and still fits your goals. Get yourself a used ThinkPad T400 (I've seen those on eBay for as little as $135–150), immediately upgrade it to a T9600 CPU (2 cores, 2 threads, 2.8GHz, under $20), 8 gigs of RAM ($30-ish), and an SSD (the bigger the capacity the more it costs, but a nice 120 GiB SSD would be $25-ish I guess). The upside is a machine pretty decent for your goals for around $200. The downside is that there won't be much room for firther upgrade. If you completely max out a T400, you're only getting 3.06GHz 2 cores 2 threads and 8GB of RAM, there's no compatible parts that would go beyond that. So your only further upgrade option will be buying an entirely new machine.
As for programming, you won't need it in its entire complexity, but some basic scripting is probably a must. I think you should take a Python course and watch some Bash scripting tutorials as well.
Andy Mac it really did help, thank you. I have a class for basic programming so I think I’ll see what all it is, and if I still want to learn more maybe I can learn on my own or take a python course
