All software is compatible to some level or another, I don't play much games but everything has alternatives and the same could be installed on a Windows based OS.
I've been using Linux based operating systems now for over 4 years and have not yet encountered any issues, but when I used Windows 8 and upgraded to. 8.1 started to get BSOD issues every hour and couldn't get it fixed so had to move over to Linux.
@Edward B it doesn't fit your needs. Linux is mostly used for programing and servers. you don't need to program or run a server. that doesn't mean it garbage. Linux is great for other people. All five of these reasons boil down to lack of support for Linux. If Linux was as or more popular than windows, applications, drivers, games, etc would be developed for Linux just as they are for Windows. If this support did exist Linux operating systems would mostly likely be what is found on most computers as Linux offers users control over what distro they use, what features they want, what level of access to the firmware they have (i.e. more user friendly or more control), etc.
There is big reason of GNU , BSD licenses, and non open source apps that is kind of a reason, but other are giving it anyway , so its just users demand and comfort, and the developers wishes. At end of the day, no one compare Linux and android as much as Linux and windows or Linux and Mac os . what every developer faces is that they have to learn to use two or more OS always , and often it's Linux and windows , apple has its eco system fully covered anyway . so the more the famous and demanding the user are for devs to make app for other platforms , then only it is going to be solved
Tbh ive always wanted to get started and either dual boot Linux or get an old laptop and fully install Linux on it. But im just nervous as to where to start tbh. I've stuck to vms which is terrible
Keep in mind that backwards compatibility comes at a price. How many 32 bit libs are kept in windows for the conpatability that stopped receiving security updates years ago and are highly exploitable now?
This a big deal as many games still require 32 bit libs that are no longer maintained.
Windows has so many installed features that noone ever uses and those make a computer slow. Linux is A LOT faster and it looks A LOT better. It's only issues are apps that don't run on it. However you can still play most of the videogames, edit documents, browse, etc. And it's FREE. Linux doesn't take a lot of knowledge to use. In fact, it is the most user friendly OS.
@Circuit Lover if people are really concerned about privacy then no oke would use tiktok or any social media, stop shoving down things that people don't care about in general life.
True. I'm a big fan of linux who used it for 6 years.. the main advantage was simply "No viruses on linux, a lot of viruses on windows" I know this is not theoretically correct.. but it was correct in fact. However Windows 10 solved much of the problem and restored windows as a usable os for me.
@Solvestram wow, I rarely have any problems with MacOS or Linux. Although Apple uses planned obsolescence, and both MacOs and Windows spys on you. I run Fedora on numerous computers; with little to no problems. I control everything about my computer and decide every detail about how it runs. I haven't seen a hardware problem in years. I buy things without even considering if it works on Linux because it always will. I guarantee there is more development time into the Linux kernel than any other kernel. Plus most of the complaints in this video are no longer a problem. For instance i have a gaming rig running linux. Most games run in Proton, with no problems. Also there are things that Windows use to run that no longer work, those generally work on Linux through wine. Plus I have ran MS Office on Linux with no problems. I now prefer vim, or LibreOffice though. Don't see the appeal to windows or macs any longer. I only use them cuz I have to.
@Jerry Lineberry Agreed. It's an outdated discussion. OS like Ubuntu already offers extensive support right out of the box. Also it's just a faster operating system.
The distro I use automatically detects my network printer and I can easily use it. Windows while it detects and installs it fine, it uses proprietary drivers that i.e. won't let u print if the printer is missing the color cartridge. I can change its drivers on Win 10 though but it's still annoying and at that point it's the same as Linux.
@Insight a RX 560 can do better than a 1050 ti in read dead redemption 2 because of support to vulkan and recording and transmitting/gamestream somehow has less impact on the AMD GPU even I f they use software acceleration and not Hardware specifically for this which is weird and astonishing at the same time.
@Apol The problem is that no one fucking uses them. The benefit doesn't matter if like 0.3% of the market has AMD graphics on Linux.
Linux on the desktop is a fucking meme. It's just eugh. It's a solid server OS, I'll happily use it over Windows Server but my god is Linux Desktop a trashfire.
@Cybercery Nvidia is a scummy company and I will never use their products again plus the new amd's are better

And that's why I dual boot a lot of my machines with Windows and Linux. Windows is primarily for gaming while Linux is for programming and web browsing. You really get the best of both worlds. Privacy and freedom with Linux and compatibility and gaming with Windows. Yes I know you can play games on Linux with lutris but it's a lot easier to setup on Windows and the drivers are more updated for Nvidia there. Also Windows can run Modern Warfare 2019 while Linux can't yet. :)
The only reason I am still using Windows 10 on my 6-year-old laptop because the stupid graphics card doesn't have a proper driver for Linux!
I have installed many Debian based distros and Linux Mint was something that I really loved. It had everything working great until I realized that the fan won't speed up!
I would definitely install Linux on my future Laptops! Windows is a headache when it comes to editing a bunch of registry keys to disable driver updates & do some customizations!
I use both every single day and I have preferences based on what I'm doing. Web design, Ubuntu. Anything in .NET, Windows. Casually browsing the web, ChromeOS. Editing video, Windows, Learning new technologies/programming languages, Ubuntu...
I don't think it makes sense to state "X is better than Y" unless it's appended with "When you Z".
The compatibility point you mentioned for Windows is because Windows holds the majority of the market as it's pre-installed in the many machines you buy. Therefore, many companies will only bother to develop for Windows (and maybe MacOS too), or at best overlook the Linux part. But put the load of quotation marks on the """"at best"""", cause when it comes to buying a network adapter, and the provider brings a DVD with folders for all these three OSes, with drivers in the Windows and Mac, and a text file with a download link for Linux... dude... imagine if I really couldn't connect to a network outside from said adapter. At least, put a .deb that may be outdated, Idc, but that was a low blow. I won't mention the DRM practices, which will make Windows the "better choice" because then again, it's the main focus point of many gaming devs, and DRMs are only meant to make things work on Windows.
As for the many Linux distros... it's actually an advantage for Linux. There are many distros including easy-to-use ones where some are used for educational purposes for kids, then you have more adapted Linux distros for games (Arch, PopOS, SteamOS (though that one looks like a heavy commitment, since you can't dual-boot with it)). Which will be more adapted once you've looked into the catalog, and even adaptable through additional packages, than a bloatware container that'll flip switches back in updates, force updates, f*** up updates, and reinstall stuff you uninstalled because it was unneeded.
Point is, Windows may be the biggest in the market still, it's probably being thought of higher for a couple of aspects (performance, security...) than it really is.
Yeahhhh no... windows vms are bad. Mainly because unless your willing to fork out more money to buy another gpu. Your running that vm with Microsoft Basic Display Drivers
Gaming is faster on linux when games are native and optimised well. And and drivers work way better than on Windows . IT EVEN AUTOMATICALLY INSTALLS ON SOME DISTROS
I find arguing over which operating system is the best to be one of the most useless arguments. Like seriously, just use what you like, plain and simple
"5 reasons why windows is better than Linux" has to compare features that both systems natively support. I.e compare the performance of a program that natively runs under both windows and Linux. I can't say that a tractor is better than a car because it can be attached to and run agricultural equipment. At the end of the day, windows is strictly a desktop operating system while Linux can be anything. The fact that drivers and games are not supported under Linux is not a metric of whether it is better or worse.
In what world is Windows found on more systems than Linux!? I'll even leave smartphones running Android, based on Linux, out of the overall count. Linux is still ahead by a large margin...
Its a matter of perspective. I use both and both has its own advantages. I can use my Linux without worrying about Virus, I haven't even installed Antivirus. Windows is great because it has a great repository of Software.
@Insight Look i am not bashing Windoows here that i need to be told to have common sense. But let me tell you its a fact, virus and malware is a mess in Windoows.
Anomaly Detection Algorithm I’m with anomaly because Windows Defender is amazing, also if you’re getting viruses then that’s your fault, viruses come from social engineering. If you fell for something that got you a virus. That’s on you, not on Windows
Seeing how linux is the least popular OS(after the OS from small companies/some random people) i don't think so. Plus, the Unix(which is basically linux) was made EVEN BEFORE WINDOWS, yet most of the people used DOS.
Blue Slime Linux is the majority of alternative operating systems. No one’s writing their own kernel, so its marker share basically reflects non-windows non-mac machines
The software "problem" is the reason why I don't use proprietary software in the first place if there's an alternative, which there is in every relevant case. And software where you must pay a lot of money on top should be the second big reason to avoid it. But if anyone has too much money and wants a walled garden, I won't stop you. :)
@xOr data scientist use numpy and pandas only analysts use spreadsheet. I am an ML developer myself. Well I am sure the superior user interface and the OCR integration is not included in libre office. First and foremost you get what you pay for.
You are the one who said data scientists require libre office either way your opinion is yours I respect it but ..... Whatever. Have you seen the table extraction from scanned slips using Microsoft office . Libre is way behind because of it being open source people need to support these developers for exceptional features what I am saying is it can't compete with ms office pace of development. And it's really annoying to have this conversation right after you said data scientists rely on libre office . I do not think you understand what GUI means .
withoutcommentary2233 what is that supposed to mean, he literally said that if you want to be part of the computer community you need to respect other people’s OSs. Jesus did you not even watch it

Gaming on Linux is becoming very friendly plus no auto update like in windows. Everything windows can do Linux does it better and THERE IS NO WAY WINDOWS IS BETTER THAN LINUX.
Sorry if I got something wrong. From my experience Debian was ridiculously bloated and I manually had to remove all the stuff I didn't need. In the worst case scenario, some wouldn't even show up in Gnome Applications (or whatever it was called) so I would have to guess the package name before I could remove it.
Anyways, every operating system has their pros and cons, so I think we should respect peoples' choices.
Now that I'm now an professional in computing, i no longer listen/watch videos that basically tell you that why X is better that Y simply because they are all BS and it really depends on what you're doing. Basically noobs watch these kind of videos 😿
Lot of things you think are advantages of windows are really handcuffs on users. For example, windows software doesn't run on Linux because Microsoft goes out of it's way to lock you in and makes it hard to implement windows's API.
@Green no because you can easily run DOS programs on Linux with things like dosemu.
In fact, open source software like Mozilla and Libreoffice runs on all operating systems without any problems. MS office doesn't because Microsoft wants to trap you in.
@Green Microsoft doesn't have to port anything. Open source developers work on wine, which is a layer of windows API that allows windows programs to run on Linux. In the past Microsoft would use tools prevented you from installing office on wine. Lately they came out in support of wine, but still every new version of office somehow doesn't work on wine and it takes wine developers years to reverse engineer and make it compatible. Basically Microsoft is engineering their product to trap you in.
Similar story is true with ms office file formats. Microsoft makes it hard for any other software to open files created in MS office, while it's easy for MS office to open files created in Libreoffice for example.
@BigChonk13 piracy is using a product without paying for it. Once you pay for it it's yours and your money is Microsofts. Do you get to tell Microsoft how to spend your money?
@hamobu pretty sure in the EULA ( the long text you and I just agree and never read) it says to not reverse engineering the office suite nor using it in another OS...
@Fabrice Balan you have rights as a consumer that you can't give up with a EULA. Even so, that demonstrates that Microsoft engineers it's products to suck money out of users. Imagine a car that can only run on more expensive gas from manufacturer. That's the kind of abuse that computer users think is a norm.
@hamobu but you agree to their term. I mean they don't just decide to change it without letting you know. About your example, you already know you can only get gas from a company and you still accept to buy the car so you can't complain... the key point is you agree to use it like that, they don't force you to buy it.
@Fabrice Balan you're assuming that consumers have perfect knowledge and are making choices knowing full well all the future consequences. That is simply not practically possible. You need a law degree, finance degree and engineering degree to figure out all the ways that companies screw you. People necessarily need to make decisions blindly. Companies are relying on this.
And in fact even companies themselves don't read their own EULA. At one point EULA for iTunes for windows stated that you can only install it on a Mac.
@Insight Most of the dev use Mac or Linux because it's good for development whereas windows is not good at this part. Development section is totally a different thing. And not only development part linux is good at hacking section. When you ask developer or hacker they will definitely prefer Linux other then different OS. If you are a general person who like games then windows is heaven. If you are a developer who like to experiment with things and other things then linux is here. Mac comes between them. Mac can be use on development section and also can be used like editing, creating ppt etc. That's why dev use Mac for this reason because it can do both. So it's no point to compare this OS. They have there own pros and cons. And they work differently.
Well your audio right now isnt well engineered lol.

Printing on Linux > windows. For whatever reason, whenever I print on windows or Mac my printer is painfully slow and shitty. My Linux partition is lightning fast with no issues, same printer.

@Manu Shanbhog no, I think for the printer I have hp never released proper drivers for mac and windows. I initially thought it was broken, but for whatever reason Linux doesn't seem to have a problem with it.
Linux is free Linux doesn’t have any kind of secret account you can’t delete Linux doesn’t have programs auto installed that steal your data without you knowing
Yeah.. jumping through a lot of hoops making things work for every unsupported programs just to avoid the one time payment and turning off some "questionable privacy" settings..
@Chad TV "free as in beer, not as in speech". Look up that sentence, to understand the freedom that Linux provides. Also with windows and MacOS you are the product. Same goes with Google products.
@Green The Windows 10 price is free, while it has nothing to do with freedom. It really isn't free because Microsoft spies on its users. I'm sure knowing as much about you helps them monitize you. There is a huge market in selling information to companies. Google, Amazon, Apple, and Facebook do this as well. I'm not so sure about Twitter and Mozilla. Either way you are the product. With Linux (and BSD variants) you are not spied on, by the Kernel. Also, with Linux you can view the code behind the kernel, you can modify it, you can share it, you sell it, you can control and customize every detail of Linux.
Of course, you can put Chrome, Gmail, or other software on your Linux computer that will still spy on you, but it doesn't do it by default.
Random Center360 it’s being pushed more for gaming and normal use nowadays. Lots of games just work out of the box with Proton and things have gotten very user friendly for normal use with some good alternatives to Windows software that an average user might use. My family actually uses Linux for normal use on the family PC so
You repeat yourself about the compatibility issue 4 times aka you have two primary arguments and your first one sucks btw apple is simply a waste of money don't use it
I hate linux fanbois that can somehow grasp the concept of different distros being good at different things, but are somehow unable to apply that pattern to OS's
Did you just say more driver compatibility… And office can run on Linux. Many other things were wrong. Like you said. Unlike Linux. Windows has hundreds of “distros” windows versions aren’t called distro. And as you litteraly saw. Linux has hundreds more distros. Not sure if this video was a joke. I agree with not hating on other platforms though
He has good points. Windows is top 1 operating system for a reason. I've used Manjaro and Mint on my gaming pc and laptop and gaming is horrible on linux never use it for gaming.
"Windows has hundreds of distros" Ah, so now we call every single development release which is used for testing purposes, small updates and not official windows variations another versions of Windows?
What about if i want to play Rainbow Six Siege or Dead by daylight? Yeah i can't on linux because anti cheat doesn't let me. I really dislike that because i play those and also other non linux native multiplayer games. You even get banned on Destiny 2 playing via proton.
It’s funny cause all of these are bullshit there’s hundreds of programs that can replace office, word, adobe anything, you can game on Linux using wine to port games, and Linux is easy asf to use, takes about 10 minutes of looking around or a tutorial, and your whole thing about “hundreds of versions and distros” what the fuck! Linux is known for this ever heard of Ubuntu, fedora, or kali?
Laughing Orange except wine is way behind on everything and is literally trash compared to running native Windows. Use a KVM, and you can call it Linux by the way.
@Skylius Really, have you seen that with Steam Proton, many Windows games preform equally or better on Linux than in Windows? I am amazed by the DXVK compatibility layer which uses WINE at its base. Vulkan is better than DX9 or DX11. Also, when was the last time you used Wine, or Proton? Got to thank Valve for funding Proton. Give it a few years, Valve will make it all games run on Proton and then launch a service like GeforceNow. They'd save millions by not paying Microsoft for licenses. BTW, WSL is an ELF compatibility layer from what I understand. The reason it works so well is because linux is open source. Unfortunately Microsoft will use their typical methodology on Linux of "Embrace, Extend, and Extinguish". Its why they are on the Linux Foundation's board of directors. Its like putting DeJoy as the Postmaster General. They have an interest in harming it.
Jerry Lineberry Gotta respect you responding with me with research and more dedication than just “linux better lol”. Yeah I agree that it’s getting better. When I used linux years ago I was dumbfounded by how terrible support for things was. I remember it being bad in the early 2000s but I kinda expected that, it was the early 2000s after all. But I’m early 2010 it was still awful, I come back to Linux I’m 2019 after using it occasionally over the years and now people are actually doing something about it. Really glad to see that. Hopefully one day for gamers it’s never a “Windows is better for me” and instead it’s just a choice of preference.
Tangent though: comparing Vulcan to DX9 or DX11 isn’t a good comparison, most people use DX12. Which does actually increase performance and keep slowdowns from happening on older cards. I do like Vulkan though, every game that uses has Vulkan API support, I use Vulkan.
Windows is not great a terminal is much better than a gui and has only a slightly larger learning curve than a gui and windows uses way to much resources probably cause its comes with rats and keyloggers out of the box
@Logicked Mazimoon supperior driver compatibility( wrong) ??? Challenge installing drivers on Linux (wrong) ???? Too many distros and choice (There needs to be more distros and more package mangers and more fragmentation) ?? Those are not good valid points.
@Alex I mean that his points are not valid in my opinion. Installing drivers on Linux is easier then windows, the more distros and choice the better for the user.
@Ace I find that so rare, I think things are more difficult in the Windows and MacOS world. I buy hardware all the time, without even considering whether it will work on Linix, because it almost always does. Ive had more device errors on Windows. And on MacOS, the situation is even worst.
Linux is evolving. Very very fast. This means some distros such as Ubuntu are getting ready to be a full replacement for things like windows 10. There’s a much lower entry level now. And most users could just swap. Maybe someone with little to no knowledge couldn’t even detect Kali Linux undercover mode.
Wine can’t run all .exe files. When I switched to Linux I could play a lot of the games I liked. That’s why I have Windows on my pc and Linux on my laptop.
BigChonk13 HAHHAAHHA THANK YOU. Half the people here barely speak English. I bet their true reason is because they’re too poor to buy or too stupid to pirate
Privacy issues is related to the user. If the user does not know how to use the device, that is his/her concern. Windows is still much more secure than you guys are thinking.
Abhrajyoti Yea it can be used for free but the is a little water mark on the bottoms right. To remove it you have to pay. I never had that watermark because every computer I got came with Windows key for free.
Window is a windows and Linux is a Linux don’t compare sword with gun and gun with tank.... each one is unique I am a big fan of Linux and I truly say windows is nothing
Spoiler Hunter Microsoft gives everyone a free download the only thing is that there is a small watermark one the bottoms right and you can’t change your background.
@Faisal Hanif I am a programmer so Linux is best for me. Its robust as compared to windows. I can change anything on linux where on windows you have to waste a lot of time.
@Shashank Naithani you're comfortable with Linux, fine. But that doesn't mean you should shit on Windows users who are comfortable with Windows. That's one of the reason why people hate the linux toxic community. There are also programmers out there who also uses Windows, its nothing special or worth mentioning.
@Nitrous Soda sorry brother if I offended you I use both OS too. However, I was not here to change anyone or to fight just shared my opinion. So lets see what other guys like or not as a healthy discussion.

12 likesI'm a big fan of linux who used it for 6 years.. the main advantage was simply "No viruses on linux, a lot of viruses on windows"
I know this is not theoretically correct.. but it was correct in fact.
However Windows 10 solved much of the problem and restored windows as a usable os for me.

@Solvestram everything you said there I agree with I use macOS daily, and it's basically best of both worlds
0 likes@Solvestram wow, I rarely have any problems with MacOS or Linux.
1 likeAlso there are things that Windows use to run that no longer work, those generally work on Linux through wine. Plus I have ran MS Office on Linux with no problems. I now prefer vim, or LibreOffice though. Don't see the appeal to windows or macs any longer. I only use them cuz I have to.
@Jerry Lineberry Agreed.
1 likeIt's an outdated discussion.
0 likesThat driver point is non existent with AMD gpus

0 likes@Daniel Johnson still like vanilla Ubuntu more ngl
0 likes@Cybercery Nvidia is a scummy company and I will never use their products again plus the new amd's are better
0 likesAnd that's why I dual boot a lot of my machines with Windows and Linux. :)
0 likesThe only reason I am still using Windows 10 on my 6-year-old laptop because the stupid graphics card doesn't have a proper driver for Linux!
0 likesI have installed many Debian based distros and Linux Mint was something that I really loved.
0 likesI don't think it makes sense to state "X is better than Y" unless it's appended with "When you Z".
Yessss, can we just agree that computers are just awesome and that we all have different needs and thus different OS appeal to us more than others
0 likesThe compatibility point you mentioned for Windows is because Windows holds the majority of the market as it's pre-installed in the many machines you buy. Therefore, many companies will only bother to develop for Windows (and maybe MacOS too), or at best overlook the Linux part.
0 likesBut put the load of quotation marks on the """"at best"""", cause when it comes to buying a network adapter, and the provider brings a DVD with folders for all these three OSes, with drivers in the Windows and Mac, and a text file with a download link for Linux... dude... imagine if I really couldn't connect to a network outside from said adapter.

0 likes"5 reasons why windows is better than Linux" has to compare features that both systems natively support.

Or maybe because linux and windows have different file extensions because windows was based on DOS and linux was based on unix...
1 like@Green no because you can easily run DOS programs on Linux with things like dosemu.
0 likesIn fact, open source software like Mozilla and Libreoffice runs on all operating systems without any problems. MS office doesn't because Microsoft wants to trap you in.
@hamobu Program ISN'T FUCKING OS.
1 like@hamobu Plus, Microsoft already has it's own OS, why would they mess around with porting the office litteraly to every distirbution?
1 like@Green Microsoft doesn't have to port anything.
0 likesSimilar story is true with ms office file formats. Microsoft makes it hard for any other software to open files created in MS office, while it's easy for MS office to open files created in Libreoffice for example.
@hamobu Okay, then show me the tools.
2 likes@Green what tools?
0 likes@hamobu "Microsoft would use tools that prevented you from installing office on Wine"

0 likes@hamobu Using anti-piracy tools is okay, since the office is for windows, not linux.
1 like@Green no it isn't. Those were not pirated copies. You should be able to run the software you pay for how you want to.
0 likes@hamobu They are technically pirated since using another os to use something made for specific os is technically pirating.
1 like@hamobu They are technically pirated since using another os to use something made for specific os is technically pirating.
1 like@Green no it isn't. You are making crap up.
0 likes@BigChonk13 piracy is using a product without paying for it. Once you pay for it it's yours and your money is Microsofts. Do you get to tell Microsoft how to spend your money?
0 likes@hamobu pretty sure in the EULA ( the long text you and I just agree and never read) it says to not reverse engineering the office suite nor using it in another OS...
1 like@Fabrice Balan you have rights as a consumer that you can't give up with a EULA. Even so, that demonstrates that Microsoft engineers it's products to suck money out of users. Imagine a car that can only run on more expensive gas from manufacturer. That's the kind of abuse that computer users think is a norm.
0 likes@hamobu but you agree to their term. I mean they don't just decide to change it without letting you know. About your example, you already know you can only get gas from a company and you still accept to buy the car so you can't complain... the key point is you agree to use it like that, they don't force you to buy it.
0 likes@Fabrice Balan you're assuming that consumers have perfect knowledge and are making choices knowing full well all the future consequences. That is simply not practically possible. You need a law degree, finance degree and engineering degree to figure out all the ways that companies screw you. People necessarily need to make decisions blindly. Companies are relying on this.
0 likesAnd in fact even companies themselves don't read their own EULA. At one point EULA for iTunes for windows stated that you can only install it on a Mac.

1 like@Insight Most of the dev use Mac or Linux because it's good for development whereas windows is not good at this part.

0 likes@Jerry Lineberry What...
0 likes@Green The Windows 10 price is free, while it has nothing to do with freedom. 0 likes@Skylius lol, That's why I have both on separate hard drives
0 likes@Skylius Really, have you seen that with Steam Proton, many Windows games preform equally or better on Linux than in Windows?
0 likesJerry Lineberry Gotta respect you responding with me with research and more dedication than just “linux better lol”.
0 likesTangent though: comparing Vulcan to DX9 or DX11 isn’t a good comparison, most people use DX12. Which does actually increase performance and keep slowdowns from happening on older cards. I do like Vulkan though, every game that uses has Vulkan API support, I use Vulkan.

0 likes@Logicked Mazimoon supperior driver compatibility( wrong) ??? Challenge installing drivers on Linux (wrong) ???? Too many distros and choice (There needs to be more distros and more package mangers and more fragmentation) ?? Those are not good valid points.
0 likesThese points are simply opinion
0 likes@Alpha BennyRosy thank you for explaining
0 likes@Alpha BennyRosy What Do You Mean?!?!
0 likes@Alex I mean that his points are not valid in my opinion. Installing drivers on Linux is easier then windows, the more distros and choice the better for the user.
0 likes@Alpha BennyRosy How? I'm Not trying to hurt your opinions But...
0 likesPeople don't realise Linux beat windows everywhere .

0 likesDrivers on Linux just work. What is he talking about? I have never had as driver issues on Linux.
2 likesReplies (2)
If they exist. There is hardware out there that does not have Linux drivers. Not even unofficial ones.
1 like@Ace I find that so rare, I think things are more difficult in the Windows and MacOS world. I buy hardware all the time, without even considering whether it will work on Linix, because it almost always does. Ive had more device errors on Windows. And on MacOS, the situation is even worst.
1 likeThe first reason was trash
0 likesWindows is best for geming and editing Mac os is best for for people who like apple and Linux best for developers and people who know about computer

Link Geming not quite
1 likeBen Mac83 what do you mean by not quite?
0 likesWell. It’s kind of difficult
0 likesLinux is evolving. Very very fast. This means some distros such as Ubuntu are getting ready to be a full replacement for things like windows 10. There’s a much lower entry level now. And most users could just swap. Maybe someone with little to no knowledge couldn’t even detect Kali Linux undercover mode.
0 likes@Tea Spill Studios what about macOS no drivers for MacBooks are a pretty big issue

0 likesWine can’t run all .exe files. When I switched to Linux I could play a lot of the games I liked. That’s why I have Windows on my pc and Linux on my laptop.

Privacy issues is related to the user. If the user does not know how to use the device, that is his/her concern. Windows is still much more secure than you guys are thinking.

2 likesLinux will have tons of virus when your linux-popularity-beats-windows wet dream comes true
5 likes@Faisal Hanif I am a programmer so Linux is best for me. Its robust as compared to windows. I can change anything on linux where on windows you have to waste a lot of time.
0 likes@Shashank Naithani you're comfortable with Linux, fine. But that doesn't mean you should shit on Windows users who are comfortable with Windows. That's one of the reason why people hate the linux toxic community. There are also programmers out there who also uses Windows, its nothing special or worth mentioning.
2 likes@Faisal Hanif window is hit and will be shit there are many reasons . enjoy ur windows
