What a nice song about counting, positive self image, sharing, and teaching kids about gravity

My brain is desperately trying to convince itself that the band and those kids aren't in the same room, but it's failing. That's how good this video is.

An entire "kids' edition" album of adult music is something I didn't need in my life - until this very moment.

I remember seeing these guys open for the wiggles a few years back. Wildest gig I've ever been to

I always lose it at the beginning "Let the bodies hit the *honk honk*"

Showed this to my 4 year old daughter and she said "wow beautiful song, play again"🤣🤣🤣🤣

It'd be easy to just dub on jingly sounds and kids cheering and call it a day, but I love how much work you put into these. The kids singing the numbers, the little animations, the timing of the kids dancing and singing, the "shhhh" near the end. It all works so well. Bravo my man.

I remember being 16 or 17 and falling asleep one night with my radio on...I woke around 2 AM to hear "...Let the bodies hit the floor..." and was absolutely terrified, until I realized what was happening...this is distinctly more nightmare-inducing and I salute you!

I think this one's my favorite so far. The baby crying at 1:06 absolutely killed me. So good.

K, I am a mom to a 1 year old and I also look after my 1yo nephew and 3yo niece during the week so I would say I'm pretty familiar with crappy children's music. This is so spot on. The animated numbers, the honks and bells. Let me tell you I was cry-laughing so fucking hard at this when my kids were napping today, and then I let them listen to it this afternoon and they loved it. I nearly pissed myself from laughing.

Just when I thought this couldn't get any worse, the sing-along lyrics for the chorus pop up, and I'm torn between whether to laugh or be horrified. This is truly a masterpiece!

okay, this almost never happens, but I pretty much was cry laughing all the way through this. This needs to be preserved in a museum.

This is so fucking well-edited. The way the kids touch the floor on the second verse "flooooOOOOOOOOR". The "yaaaay!"s. The 1,2,3,4 cheering. The way the kid at 0:55 looks like she's singing along "let the bodies". The "Shhhhhhh" part. Literally phenomenal.

I love that this works on so many levels. You put so much thought into every detail, like his metal scream at 1:04 making the room go awkwardly quiet in shock before he picks it up again. It's not just a brilliant composition. Every piece of this video is working together to make an amazing/terrible tapestry.

This certainly does make me feel emotions. 10/10. You don't ruin things, you make absolute masterpieces.

I would definitely love to see way more of this type of "ruining it" I could watch metal songs like this all day

So I found this video for the first time when my partner was in the hospital with COVID and showed it to him when he got back. I’d been so scared I would lose him that even when he was on his way home I struggled to let myself believe it was real. This mashup made him laugh so hard that I could finally breathe knowing he really did survive - his ability to laugh like that proved he was alive.

Thank you for giving us this absurd mashup. The ridiculousness of the concept and skillful execution really give it the power it has, and it will always have a special place in my heart.

This is perfect because in many ways this song in particular represented the death of numetal for me as a musical subgenera. It's so creatively bankrupt and lacking in any ambition it's the perfect representation of what the genre had become by this point in time. Cliched and played out the first time I heard it burst out laughing. Likewise when hearing this version for the first time, I also burst out laughing. It's nice seeing this song get the respect it deserves.

The reality of it is, it's just an afternoon lullaby, to burn off kid's energy and get them to lay down for a nap... IOW, so that the bodies hit the floor, and snooze! 😴💤

They opted for the lyric "bodies", because "babies" sounded too much like bad parenting, as if you were dropping your child, instead of the intended meaning of them softly laying down from being tired. 😊
