Eurhybia is an obscure neo prog band from France that manages to release only one album in 1990 on the label UGUM. I was very pleasantly surprised by what I heard here, a really fantastic album, excellent music and above all every work for me is a total winner. The album benefits from the production of Francis Decamps, one of the brothers of the already famous Ange. What bothers me every time I hear this album is the large amount of keybords and how intriguingly constructive the pieces are, very well done with a lot of great moments. A long piece, complex, well worked out, where guitar and keybords play an important role. Much more elastic in the way of composing than many neo prog bands I have heard, perhaps at some point similar to Pallas, but Eurhybia certainly has its own one style and its own twists. Very good is the voice of Serge Legall, who does not have this specific accent of speakers who are not English speakers, I can easily say that this is an English singer. From the big cover everything is brilliant, with the cherry on the cake of two amazing instruments, Eurhybia and House of Cards, the longest piece of the album, where all the musicians simply shine. I've seen on other prog sites, that this album is a copy of previous neo prog bands, not true at all, this is one of the most exciting neo prog albums I've ever heard in a long time. Thosse who can find this unknown band gives spin worth it every second.
