Another CD on which stoners can be dazzled. What makes this crowd worthy of attention is that they add their own unique charm to the formula. Acoustic instruments are far more prominent than in Ozrić's work, including some rather delicious acoustic guitar. Hidria Spacefolk is also more likely to take unexpected turns and turns than Ozric tentacles, which generally stick to a certain groove for the duration of the piece - jam from space rocks will suddenly turn into dub reggae, with suitably squeaky analog synth sounds. And they do it well: but unfortunately, they do nothing else. As for the debut EPs, the quality here is fantastic (both musically and productionally). Putting this as a free download to their website was a smart move and must have caught them a lot of attention on this website. Their space trips are not 100% unique and not overly fresh, and they are not absolutely beyond. But they are very fun, and when they are in very severe pain to remove wisdom teeth, and half asleep, the experiences are actually quite remarkable.
