What I meant is basically that scientifically the system starts in 1, but in popular culture we use 0, and that's okay too. I was just sharing a fun fact, and I can't believe this comment is still getting replies a year later, haha. Yes I know the 202nd decade of the AD era ended in 2020. But we don't count decades that way since we name then informally instead of how they appear in the calendar era which for centuries and millennia they're view from how they appear in the calendar era. Also using a system called astronomical year numbering which has a year 0 (or corresponding to 1 BC in AD) does give support to both having decades from 0-9 and the 2010s. Although it can not be used as an excuse to say that the 203rd decade started in 2020 which is not true because it started in 2021, It can still give support to following both the 2010s and the 2020s ideas of the decades and at least it can say that A decade started in 2020 just like in every year since a decade is really just an arbitrary period of 10 years.

Guys, please read the article I linked to understand what I'm refeering to. I do think the decade should start on 0 and end in 9, but our system says another thing. If you read the article, you could clearly see how they state you're free to celebrate the end of the decade now, I'm just pointing the fact that it's not systematically, but we're free to celebrate when we please. It was just a fun fact, don't make a whole argument over it.

Edit: Seeing some other comments, I could clearly see the same pattern. I NEVER said that 2020 would be part of the 10s, that's non-sensical. I liked the way another user took the information, ANY 10 YEARS IT'S A DECADE. We populary count the decades as the set of 10 continious years that have the same third digit, and it counts like a decade since they are ten years. But, I repeat, SYSTEMATICALLY this is wrong. Our counting of decades started in the year ONE. As for that, the 202nd decade will start in January first, 2021.

I actually happen to be 1 of those people. I am a K-Pop fan who is not obsessed with Korean Popular Music. But, what does that matter, though? Why is it that some people are just so arrogant and so inconsiderate that they would steal another person's happiness simply for participating with in a hobby that is not of their own? As many factors do, age tends to have an impact on as to what a person partakes interest in. If you just so happen to belong to a differing age grouping, that is not any excuse to cast judgement up on them, especially if they are younger than you are. It is not toxic to be a part of a bigger community. What is toxic is shaming. You are not better than them, rather, you are much worse. You lack the empathy to allow others the freedom to express their own individual interests. If you still believe that you should continue to attempt at appointing your self as the arbiter of proper behavior as a fan, you should at least try to practice what you preach and behave as a fan of what ever fandom that you may be a part of.

I agree with you! BTS is the most successful Korean musical idol grouping to ever exist. They deserve all of the recognition that they had received last year with in 2018's You Tube Re Wind.
