@@cutercills9x9productions9 That's not an exaggeration. Even people that didn't cry during the show, once they get to the final episode, I guarantee - Niagara Falls.
I love how genuine your reactions are. I've been taking my time with these reactions, and I know you've already quit but I can honestly say you're the best reactor I've watched for this show.
I really appreciate how even though you're this young military guy who's always cracking dirty jokes, you also have genuine emotional reactions to the show. The usual male refusal to admit to having feelings gets really damn old. MLP's loveable characters and the struggles and growth they go through are great for breaking down people's walls. I wish I'd found this channel in time to watch through in real time, but now I get to binge these and I'm excited to get to the bigger episodes coming up and see how they hit you.
@@jordandwiggins1026 I agree completely. There are definitely writing decisions I have some issues with, but I'd much rather focus on the huge amount of stuff the show does right. Its voice actors are some of the best in the business, its cast of characters has at least one relatable pony for everyone, and the humor hits the mark, even for adults, far more consistently than most other kids' shows. Then factor in how the animation and music just keep getting better throughout its run, and I don't think anyone who gives it an honest chance could say they don't see anything to appreciate, even if they decide it's not for them.
@@HeavyMetalMal42 No I didn’t think it was sexist at all. I’m a guy and I have a very hard time crying for anything, although I’ll get close to it from time to time. I think I’ve only genuinely cried like twice from any show or movie in the last decade, but I don’t think that’s something to be proud of, it just means that it’s hard for me to openly show my emotions because I’m just so used to avoiding it. Being a guy in our world does weird things to you. I really appreciate a show like this that can be enjoyed by all kinds of people even if it’s target demographic is one with a negative stigma around it. When people think of shows made for 2-6 year old girls you don’t expect much. I’ve personally spent most of my life growing up with younger siblings and cousins and out of all the shows aimed at kids under 12 years old I’ve seen, I don’t think a single one of them comes close to this show in quality. Even when the writing isn’t perfect the music, voice acting, comedy and animation are always excellent.
@@jordandwiggins1026 Yeah, after seasons of build-up a person can't help but feel for them. And rereading my old comment, I hope it didn't come off sexist at all. I think dudes just get a lot of societal pressure to hold everything in and that's not healthy for anyone, so it's always nice to see how relating to these characters gives people an emotional release.
11:30 - Scootaloo just yelped like Tails. Also fun fact about Scootaloo. Originally her inability to fly was part of the fandom's canon, but the creators liked that idea so much that they just made it part of the show.
20:07 How did Rainbow even know Scootaloo was in trouble? She was wearing earplugs, so she wouldn't have heard Scootaloo's screaming. Did Luna warn her or make her wake up or something?
Those who say that they will never cry will cry eventually even if they try to hide it

21 likesThis is my 5th best episode of the series. The imagery is great. Scootaloo is stellar. The ending is fantastic.
13 likesReally solid episode with a solid lesson. Luna was written well in this one (and I suppose the two that accompany it, but to a lesser extent).

Interesting thing that Luna visited all three CMC. First Scootalo season 3. Sweete Bell season 4. AppleBloom season 5
