I wonder if she left the rest of the Mean 6 or brought the logs with her and to this day when Chrysalis is petrified the logs are still there in Grogars lair😂
It is nice to see Chrysalis actually using her Changeling powers in clever and practical ways in this episode, considering how rarely we see Thorax or Ocellus doing so.
Let's hope that Bewitching Bell doesn't have a safety catch like a can of pepper spray, or else those three will have infinite cosmic power, albeit in an itty bitty living space.
20:53 It was at that moment that PonyBro's roommates entered the room, spelling out his eternal doom. It is said that his heart shrunk three sizes that day; all that love and all he got was a can of pepper spray.
I love how goofy and childish the villains act, but they straight up try to murder Twilight and her friends, the juxtaposition of how they can go from loveable jerks to straight up psychos is hilarious as it is scary
This is a fantastic episode. Seeing the three villains in an episode together is fantastic. The backdrop plot is really good. The way it ended is really interesting.
Grogar may be powerful, but he's also arrogant enough to believe that three power-hungry sociopaths would remain loyal to him just because he says so...especially when they decide to work together.
This plot driven episode is freakin awesome! I wanted an all villains episode this season and I was delighted that this very episode was given to us! The interactions between the villains is very well written and I like the premise of this episode.
The villain song is top tier too! It’s very rare to have a villain song in this show. Usually, we get these kind of songs with Equestria Girls. So, this latest addition to the franchise was a real treat.
This was the one episode that I started to warm up to Cozy Glow. She seems a lot more tolerable as a comic relief villain than a big time villain like Tirek and Chrysalis, that’s how I feel at least. I like her now, but to a certain degree.
Now that the Terrible Trio (that’s what I call Tirek, Chyssy, and Cozy’s group) has agreed to to form their own alliance against Grogar, things are gonna go down in the upcoming episodes. This is truly one of the best episodes of the season and in the show as well!
Such an amazing departure from following our heroes to see the magnificence of their enemies. A way to step it up a notch so the villains are more developed, and more real feeling, and a real, genuine threat. Also, more amazing world building. That song twists up the emotions something fierce, right? Gotta love Chryssie's reactions to realization that they might need "friends" to win.
As a side note, a suggestion on the finale.
Given how fast you've been going through the whole series, it may be worth taking those last episodes on a day of their own. A time when you can savour it, so they're not at the tail end of a long cascade of other (also fantastic) episodes, and give yourself time to emotionally breathe, and of course rest.
In fact, you could do what a colleague of yours, Raven Reacts, recently did on a finale, and do it as a livestream.
You'd probably have to do a practice run on something else. Contingency plans. Risk nothing. ;)
Anyway. Whether you do that or not, it's an amazing ride. And most of us aren't going anywhere. :)
Eh, Rusty Bucket seems pretty stable compared to the poor Station Pony from "Sounds of Silence," who went Full Crazy Ralph from his isolation. (On the downside and as a VERY MINOR not-even-a-spoiler, Rusty neglects to report three of Equestria's most dangerous fugitives attempting to scale the mountain. But then, prisoners in Tartarus seem to be very poorly monitored in the first place.)
Now this one is one of my favourites of the show! Easily one of the most enjoyable. I kept watching this on repeat and I love the song! Another one of my favourite songs of the show !
When it comes to MLP FIM, there is not a bad villain song. They are all fucking amazing. Even the villain songs from the Equestria Girls movies are good. It is like Daniel Ingram is incapable of making a bad villain song.
The song here where they went actively looking for Superior Methods to be Evil made me lose any hope they would be reformed.
All reformations in this show involved the villain being taught the ways of friendship, or a friendship issue being solved, or an evil corruption being destroyed.
None of this is applicable to the Legion of Doom. They reap what they sow.
Not to be spoilery or anything ponybro but don't be too excited about grogar please don't have too high of expectations I was excited as fuck too when I first started season 9

To be fair, for changelings what she said is far more literal. It doesn't apply to any of the other villians here, but she has good reason to be wary.
