You should know that you are very, very lucky to have a friend like this. I left the local public school last year and am now homeschooled after some emotional trauma I went through, and it is so lonely. I don't want to go back to the public school, because I'm afraid that what happened last year will happen again. I really want a best friend, someone I can take funny pictures with and giggle with them at sleepovers until midnight, or write a sweet song to for their birthday. I have a group of friends, but most of them are a bit younger than me, and I can't connect very deeply with any of them because of the age and personality differences. I haven't had someone outside of my immediate family in my room for months and months. This is a feeling I have never known, but one that I want to know so badly. Anyone who does know this should hold on to it. I'll keep looking though, so hopefully one day I can update this comment and inform you that I've found a best friend. But until then I'll keep on hoping :)
