@VegaFox744 I would say this song compliments Russia. the chord progression is dead on for that periods Russian style (I'm guessing mid 18th to mid 19th opera) the singing has the correct, nay, it was perfect intonation, the attitude of the song is very strong and determined (wich I beleive Russians are), and the accompanying instruments are all period of this style (the tuba is debatably period) overall this does complete justice to Russia. Why does accuracy offend you?
Love the song, but it doesn't really start for me till 1:26. As a bass, it always bugs me when people sing lower than they can support. Always nice to hear someone with classical training though!

The Russian styled song is a play on the whole communist pony thing that was around for a while. I jave many epic songs that would make a realistic anthem for Equestria but to quote a certain someone, where's the fun in making sense? ;)

@VegaFox744 Well because I don;t find American music so appealing because the culture is nothing special to me. I love Russian music and so I wrote this song in that style. I will have you know that the style of music this uses goes back to the days of imperial Russia. The folk song Kalinka uses the strong sharp fifth which Russian music is famous for Katyusha and Korobushka also use it. It just gives the melody a poweful hook. That's all.

As long as a citizen supports both princess they are true. Civil war is not something you can joke about, and becomes silly if you start one just because you like one of the rulers over the other. (myself, Luna is my favorite but i have much resoect for Celestia)
If ponies decide to rebel or revolt against Celestia, then she might refuse to raise the sun, and if she decides to do that, then everypony's bucked. Their plants and crops won't be able to grow, causing ponies to run out of food and starve. Starvation will make way for desperation and Equestria would be in a state of unrest and chaos. Equestria needs it's golden sun, and therefore, they need Celestia to maintain order and harmony.

I will have you know that the style of music this uses goes back to the days of imperial Russia. The folk song Kalinka uses the strong sharp fifth which Russian music is famous for Katyusha and Korobushka also use it. It just gives the melody a poweful hook. That's all.

Their plants and crops won't be able to grow, causing ponies to run out of food and starve. Starvation will make way for desperation and Equestria would be in a state of unrest and chaos. Equestria needs it's golden sun, and therefore, they need Celestia to maintain order and harmony.
