It's been a while. Still a great song, and the nostalgia is overwhelming.

10+ Years I've been listening to this song. Always gives me great memories when times are bad. So happy for it's creation.

I just want to say that I have been coming back to this sone for years now. The sound design is pure magic. Hands down my favorite remix of the show and I don't get how it has so little views. Thanks for this creation

I wish times were like this again

Still come back to this song every once in a while and think about the beginnings of the fandom. Was a much better time. So much creativity. The fandom today is merely a distorted image of what it used to be. Life is meaningless.

I became a became a brony early in 2012, and I only just now discovered this song.

Why does it make me feel nostalgic? Maybe it's the style of music, or just reading the comments and realizing what a special community we had at that time.

I also think it's amazing how when this song was made, Trixie was a one-time supporting character. Now, she's a fan-favorite, appearing in many episodes alongside a character (Starlight Glimmer) that hadn't even been imagined yet.

Trixie did have a "good side", and she's actually one of the best ponies to grace our screens.

9 years and still LEGENDARY

I wish I was a kid again, watching this episode on my sofa as a 8 year old enjoying the characters. The fandom will always be so welcoming and strange. Mlp made me and will always make me happy

It's been so long since I've listened to this. It makes me cry because of all the times I've had so much fun as a brony/Pegasister. Now, I see less pony. Less shirts at hot topic. Less bronies. Less musicians. It makes me increadible sad that the fandom is kinda dying down. I will always forever be a brony/Pegasister, no matter if the fandom dies or not. <3

Came back here in spirit of today's episode. This song is so simple yet unforgettable, not to mention nostalgia inducing like a lot of tracks from 2011. Easily up there in my top three of your music.

march 30th, 2021: 1:02am... I am here once again, to help produce/fuel the nostalgic visuals that run through this brain of mines of past times that we all wish we can relive again, yet can't. cant wrap my head around how this song is basically a decade old now/10 years old, it's extraordinarily.... sad. this was one of the first songs my 9 year old self had found on youtube when i joined the mlp fandom in late 2011; on a dark, cold night; sitting infront of a windows 7 dell computer in a silent living room, in the middle of the night- innocent as all can be; little did all of us back then who were mlp fans, know that several years would pass by in a blip- and we'd be looking back at those days that we just lived in the moment and made the best out of any circumstance. dang

God it’s been so long. I can remember being so into the fandom back in 2012 when we saw twilight end up as an alicorn by the time 2013 came about and so many wonderful songs like this one came about. What happened? I started college back in 2012...it’s almost 2018 and I graduate in may. I was 18 then, almost 24 now... it seems like only yesterday. I literally blinked and ended up 6 years into the future.

I think this was the very first brony song I listened to. All the years of great music from this fandom were wonderful, and plenty is still being produced today!

Thanks for not going the way of Woodlore. It’s a damn tragedy when a huge swath of unique music disappears. Luckily your Bandcamp stayed up, so even while the songs were down here, I could still officially support one of my favorite artists ever officially.

This has to be one of my favorite songs of all time. Not sure how many times I've listened to this on my iPod, while driving, or just on my computer. It flows so well and always calms me. You certainly have a gift for music my friend, and I look forward to more.

It's almost 2018, literally in just weeks, and I'm listening to this song 6 years later. I use to think about how I could use this for runway music as a freshman in college studying fashion design.

2011-2014 are my personal favourite years of my life so far. music was still decent, and you could life life worry free. (I was in year 9 - end of first year college term during those 4 years)

I always listen to this when I start to feel overwhelmed and upset. There's just something so comforting about it but yet it's able to match with my emotions. I love this song so much. <3

Best Trixie song I've ever heard! And that is the honest truth. It's in my top 5 songs of all time. It's calm yet energetic, as well as having a joyous yet slightly sad feeling to it. It fits well with the character.

It's well made, well executed brilliant all over. I don't listen to this over and over, because I don't want to get bored of it. I just treat myself to this every now and then. You really have made a wonderful song. It makes me feel happy, sad, all sorts of things. And that's all you can ask for from a song. Make you feel something.

It's great to see the amazing talent this fandom has being recognized by people outside of it. :)

i listened to this song for two weeks straight and then lost it under all the other songs i've collected over this past year. this is the only song that stayed in my head the whole time, and had me looking through my entire history and all of my playlists just to find it the search was totally worth it though

Joined back in late May of 2012 just about a month after Season 2 ended and... Moley Holy, I've been enjoying the fan creations. I was about 15 years old when I joined and after episode 13, I was hooked. Now I'm 24 and I do not regret becoming a part of this fandom. I've made so many friends, taken new hobbies, and influenced some people thanks to this show.

This song keeps appearing within 20 songs of my playlist, when the playlist itself is 180+ great pony songs large. ...I think my iPod knows I love Trixie's voice. -shudders in glee- I love all of your songs, PinkiePieSwear. This particular one sorta...uplifts my spirit; makes me feel great. And sorta makes me cry. Yep. Cry. Because you took the time to apply your talents to the great fandom that is Friendship is Magic. You, along with many others, deserve a hoof on the back. You're awesome.

Jesus Christ, these types of songs remind me of when I originally became a fan of the show back in late 2011. The early and best days of the fandom IMO. Where everything what was made by the fandom was creative. Especially these type of songs.

maan, this is so gorgeous! I really love this, and more than just most of the great pony music out there (which is almost entirely brilliant), but this, this is just really fantastic to me, I find it such a beautifully chilled and original break from all the more dancy stuff out there. This has a bit of an Enigma feel to it. The fandom isn't dead, but the magic is gone. We're still getting high quality content but without the naivety of an unknown future leading us towards the later years of the fandom. Well it's here and we don't have that to back up on anymore. I won't be listening to an MLP fanmade track from 2018 like I would one from 2011-2012. I don't watch the show anymore either ever since Season 3 ended. There's just no magic. I struggle to describe a good word for it, but there was a magic to it, ironically no longer really present in my opinion.

PinkiePieSwear, I declare! Your pogo mixes flow from my iPhone (in my shirt pocket) for most of my work day. I absolutely love Flutterwonder and Sunshine & Celery Stalks. This one is quite nice, too. great accomplishment using non-singing vocals. Also, when can we hear a Rainbow Dash mix? Hmm... Luna has precious few (non-yelling) lines, but i love her voice, too!

This is such an awesome song. Even though she's technically saying nonsense, Trixie's voice sounds so... hypnotic; and with the music the whole deal is almost entrancing. Confound these songs, they (almost) drive me to say that Trixie is best pony!

The reason i like Trixie is because she well thought out as a character, like she shows up out of know where and has all these storys about how great she is. I would love for her to come back in SE3 because i want to learn about her background and where she went. (:

You can also tell that her bravado was nothing more than an act during the Ursa Minor scene, due to how easily she dropped it, stopped referring to herself in the third person, and simply acted like a scared filly confronting impossible odds, which she pretty much was. She's actually a good pony. It's just that nobody would believe that she was 'great and powerful' with her level of magic if it weren't for her acting like she was great and powerful.

I actually didn't think Trixie was that bad of a character. She was just putting on a show and a bunch of locals came to heckle her. She confidently rolled with the rude interruption and worked it into her act. I actually have some pity for the character, she wouldn't have been a bitch to everybody if they hadn't intentionally crashed her show. Shes just an entertainer. She may be spiteful and arrogant, but she has the good side of being confident and skilled and good at thinking on her feet.

Plus, most people take offense at claims of superiority; "Anything you can do, I can do better" was probably the worst direction she could have taken the show as an entertainer, since it pits her against the audience.

Here's my story about how I became a Pegusister:

My brother was flipping though shows on Netflix when he stumbled across mlp. I was thinking, "oh, no! Not My Little Pony." When ever I saw mlp toys in Walmart I always imaged G3 mlp or G2. And when mlp was accidentally played on Netflix I thought it was going to cheesy girlishness. Boy was I wrong! I started watching more and finally I admitted that I loved this show. Man, when I became a Pegusister I had NO idea there were SO much people who loved it like I did. When I first liked the show I felt left out because I thought I was the only person who absolutely LOVED the show. Man, when I found the Fandom I was so happy. When I first became a Pegusister I didn't know there was a such thing as "Pegusister" or "Brony" I didn't even know there was a such thing as a Fandom!! I'm so glad I'm a My Little Pony fan!!!

No problem. Even MLP:FIM has some mediocre episodes - they're still much better than most of what gets shown on TV, but from an absolute point of view, they're mediocre. Of course MLP:FIM, like star trek, has MANY truly AWESOME episodes that can be enjoyed over and over again :)

You know, at the beginning I didn't like Trixie at all, she was such a phony pony and a jerk for me, but after some time of watching my little pony getting to season 2 and all, and periodically browsing fanmade content of all kinds.. I somehow started to like her, her design and character.. Now I just find her to be enthralling, don't know why, I think she is mysterious as we know almost absolutely nothing about her, it's like if she was hiding her true self.. I'm sure it's a good show. Perhaps even the best show on television. There is no doubt that you 4chan and computer people are smart. However, television itself is a barren wasteland of garbage and I don't watch it. And no matter how good the writing is, it can't compare to incredible authors like Sir Laurence Van Der Post. I just can't help but think culture is devolving, and all that's left to cling on to is a well written children's cartoon. Look into older literature for inspiration.
