Why hello there, sir! That was a wonderful season, wasn’t it? Get ready for the the most awesome episodes to come! Always love to watch your reactions, they make my day instantly 20% cooler!) Great stuff!
Not that many kid shows let the villains have such big wins at the end of a season. Episode 20 is arguably my favorite episode in the show, the fighting scenes were amazing and the unexpected ending was a very nice touch. I am glad you put the 2 episodes together.
During Azula's speech to Long Feng, she gave me hannibal lecter vibes. And now onto the final season.
I know, right? Not only does the Fire Nation capture the last Earth Kingdom stronghold, but Azula succeeds in luring Zuko back to the dark side, and she kills Aang while he’s in the Avatar State (which in and of itself was a great and shocking [no pun intended] subversion) - so if it had lasted, that would have meant the Avatar would have ceased to exist!
Thankfully, they threw us a tiny bone by having Katara be able to bring Aang back to life with that spirit oasis water - and the fact that the bad guys don’t know that ;)
Also, that ending scene, where Iroh gets encased in the crystals, looks at Zuko, and then looks down in disappointment, still gives me goosebumps - even 15+ years later. I think it has a lot to do with the music, but also the fact that I know that episode was the last time Mako voiced Iroh (as Mako died while Book 2 was airing - I think a week after Chapter 11? - which is why “The Tale of Iroh” was dedicated to his memory).
All in all, this episode was a fucking downer, and so intense (this is definitely some of the best fight choreography in the series), which is why it may well be my favorite episode of the show as well.
That was an amazing reaction. The expression you had near the ending when Azula landed that shot. That was the exact same expression I had when I first watched the episode.
Thank you so much for all your wonderful reactions. I've been following them since you were doing the MLP series. It's an amazing journey, and it's an honor I can be a part of that journey. I look forward to your reaction of Avatar season 3, and I hope I'll be able to follow you on your journey for Legend of Korra eventually; I haven't had the chance to watch that show yet.
This Season 2 finale was a nail-biter! As always, your reactions to it were nothing short of how I felt when watching the fate of Aang and the risk he took between his duties as the Avatar and his love for Katara.
The moment of Azula striking Aang with the lighting will be forever in my memory, I was 11 years old when I watched it, and I had the same reaction as you, I just shut down the TV and stare the darkness for like a minute before saying "fuck" in my mind
The Fire Nation may have one the the battle this time but they’ve yet to win the war. This season finale was bittersweet but also very cool in my opinion. PonyBro, buckle up because season 3(my personal favorite of this show) is gonna be lit! And congrats on finishing Book 2!
Funny how the Dai Li have not made up their minds on who should they be obeying. Long Feng underestimated what Azula is truly capable of when he decided to ally with her and then attempted to betray her.
Man, the second book is so depressing so I just dicided to wait till you make the whole thing since you're reacting on only one a three days and there is no two-parters in this season. So It was surprise to me that you watched two in the row. Great cartoon, hope, you enjoyded. Great reactions.
And i also want to recommend you "Avatar Unaired Pilot" - is a low-budget, pre-production test episode created by Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko in order to attract potential producers. It's never been aired on public television and instead appears as an extra feature on Avatar DVD's with commentary from Mike and Bryan. The pilot episode is twice as short as the usual episodes, with different voice actors and Katara has a different name here.
Pony bro, you do such amazing reactions without even asking for money! Are you considering making a patreon or paypay in the future? at least for people to donate money to you
I was also really confused when first discovered he doesn’t even have donations enabled on bitchute, not even speaking of patreon :( I would definitely support such a man!
I have thought about it before, but with my mic and camera and video quality being not that good I would feel bad lol. Plus I don’t want to hide any videos behind a paywall for anyone ever, so idk what benefits I would give to Patreon subscribers. I haven’t though about it much.
@PonyBro I Guess You don’t have to give any privileges to patrons dude!! I’m sure people would still love to support you even if they don’t get any special treatment. Anyway, it’s always up to you! Thank you for uploading, once again!
I didn’t even know you could enable tips on bitchute lol, so thanks for informing me on that. I managed to enable that so I guess that’s what I’ll do for now, I’ll have to get wider audience feedback if I should start a patreon though.
That's the thing about the Avatar and any bender.....they are just people. The mind and the element is the primary strength, not the body. Of course, by default, you get some tough customers....but they're more Batman tough, or Bruce Lee tough....still vulnerable to lethal wounds. A lightning bolt....even for some comic book character or some anime....is a powerful thing. It's never JUST a lightning bolt. It's, FUCK a whole ass LIGHTNING BOLT?! On a side note, ease up on the intensity of the rage. You're treating this a bit too much like Game of Thrones. I think you'll find the tone doesn't quite match.
My computer isn’t the best, so sometimes it renders these longer videos in a lower quality. Sorry but I can’t control it so it’s either that or nothing.
Hey, can you please react to Avatar chibi shorts, called "Avatar: Super Deformed Shorts"? Creators made those shorts as self-parodies of the series, not to be considered canon. There is three of them: "Bending Battle" https://youtu.be/TnwUD56L1hg "Swamp Skiin' Throwdown" https://youtu.be/DC6-ijkleUM "School Time Shipping" https://youtu.be/jO2Gfm8r4_c
"You've beaten me at my own game."

To this day, that is still one of the best villain lines I have ever heard.

I’ll bet Long Feng’s history was really like that before he made it to where he is today. He had nothing and relied so much on conniving.

And thus Toph became the pioneer in finding metalbending… 🤔

This is a fantastic finale. An interesting position for the characters.
0 likesLike Roku said, Aang is at his most vulnerable while in the Avatar State, as the Avatar spirit itself can be harmed.

Didn’t know about these. Might be a good thing to react to before I start Korra, just like I did with gravity falls shorts.
0 likes@PonyBro I Guess These shorts came out between the second and third seasons, so there are no spoilers for you in there.
