For a while, I thought I would only get him reacting to this series in my dreams. I have quite a few reaction channels I like to watch for Avatar, my favorite being Aege&Chill. Ponybro will likely soon be way up on the list, assuming he doesn't take the number one spot.
You are in for a ride dude, this show is excellent. To answer your question, Aang is 12, 112 with the years he was frozen, Katara is 14, Sokka is 15, and Zuko is 16.
OMG. In ponybro's reactions I always see a poster in the background that says Army. Now I see Ponybro in a Army uniform. Is this the class ponybro was talking about on his last video?
As the series progresses you'll realize you have a lot in common with Sokka, you both mastered the "dad joke" at an early age. OH, also the warrior bit.
OMG! YES! You're doing Avatar now? Dude, PonyBro, you are so awesome! I strongly look forward to your reaction to this series. As for you, prepare yourself for one of the most awesome cartoon series ever made. A show that set a standard for excellence that many since learned to follow. Shows like Gravity Falls or Adventure Time might not exist if this hadn't been invented first, and I can also tell you it's aged very well. Being as old as it is, I suspect you'll find it way ahead of its time.
This show is a deeply enlightening show filled with humor, memorable characters (heroes and villains) with deep backstories and plot lines. It does not talk down to kids but rather inspires them to grow up and make other awesome shows since its time.
Now comes one of the greatest animated shows of our time. I was one of the few who didn’t follow Avatar when it was airing on TV way back when. I started to get into this show in the middle of Book 2: Earth. After I finished the remainder of Book 3, I went back to watch the series from the beginning. Avatar is one of the greatest things I’ve seen in my life and I will cherish this show forever.
Fusion Omni Mobile Yeah. Cartoon shows that have an interesting world to explore, fascinating lore, impressive animation and fun characters are the ones that really peek my interest, like MLP, Amphibia, and the Owl House to name a few.
I remember when the show first was coming out, and I saw the previews for it on Nickelodeon. I was like, "Wait, this is going to be a Nickelodeon show?" It certainly was different form anything else at the time. I was about 12 when the show first was airing. I mostly enjoyed comedy cartoons at the time, but I was immediately hooked at just about everything with this show. After book one ended, I was worried that it would somehow be cancelled and we wouldn't see more if the story unfold. Had the came sorry after book two. But it got all the way through, and it just kept getting better and better.
Alright, here it comes! The start of another great journey. Prepare yourself, Will. You are in for one heck of an experience with this show. It's one of my favorites, and before long, you will see the reason why needs no citation.
Yo, I have been seeing your comments in ponybro's latest videos and Im starting to recognize your channel. Im wondering how long you have been watching "Ponybro I Guess"?
This show is top tier, the fighting styles are unique u see as how aang and zuko fight differently. Not much to say without spoilers beyond this show getting better and better overtime
I’m looking forward to this. I keep hearing about how this show is so amazing but I’ve never watched it. I’ll be watching it for the first time as well
Aye another series to binge watch, I remember watching this as a kid but have no memory of the story and characters only the protagonist of course cause who can forget him 😅
"Aang and Katara are shippable" Ideal for Aang: [(age)/2]+7 = 13 [or 63, technically speaking... the age of GranGran!] Ideal for Katara: [(age)/2]+7 = 14 -> Katara is just a bit older for him, while Aang is young (also inmature) for her.
@@Strebiskunk It is never explicitly said. Back when it was airing, you had to "interpolate" it from known events (lore) & implicit stuff from the dialogue itself. -> The producers later confirmed it, so it is now in the wikias.
One interesting thing about this show is that the entire course of major events in the story was actually planned from the beginning. Many shows that follow a continuous story still don't plan things out beyond the season they were in. A show that plans ahead like this one does is rare outside of anime.
Thanks for starting this series, but please don't record these videos while driving. It's very dangerous, and I would hate for you to have someone else's injury or death on your conscience for the rest of your life, because you were distracted while on the road. At the very least, if you must record something while behind the wheel DO NOT look at the camera until you've stopped at a light or have parked, or record audio only.
Just a little heads up, the beginning of the show is very childish, but like MLP, it gets more mature over time. Unlike MLP, this was intended to start off childish because it's supposed to represent Aang's growth as a character.
man I haven't seen this in years given the video was a few minutes I thought this was just your thoughts on the episode not the full review. as for are katar and aang shipable absolutely not that be as silly as you being shipped with fluttershy........ ohhh... but seriously this show get really good after season 1 and continues to build. a lot of your questions actually are answered later in the show but first we must do the world building so things for the first season are kinda slow but yeah if you don't got a seatbelt get one because this ride gets intense
OMG you're watching Avatar?! This is the greatest thing to happen since you started this channel.
