Ok is it just me or does anypony else think that the fanfic itself needs to be turned into an online animated movie having people do voice overs and have that one lady in particular that has given vinyl scratch her very own voice play voice act as vinyl. It's only fair that she should.
They are sorta doing it already. If you look up My Roomates A Vampire Animated I think you'll be able to find it. But if they do that, I do hope that they turn Octavia and Vinyl from being the worst characters I have ever read in anything. Gosh I hate those two.
draco scratch Octavia is a creepy stalker(it might seem a bit confusing to hear that for her character, but yeah, she is a creepy stalker in that fic), and Vinyl is a freaking maniac. Heck (spoilers) I don't blame the villain for hating vampires. Seeing Vinyls actions, they are worse they monsters! Vinyl is a horrible creature. Not for what she is, but for what she does that is in my eyes, unforgivable.

I actually did like the fanfiction for the first few chapters, and those were where my problems with Octavia were, and if she wasn't boring, I would've been fine with it. And at least she does kinda atone for her sins of bad characterization. But Vinyl, never does. I can tell ya. Just tweak Vinyls character a bit and make her not completely unlikable, and it would be a fine fanfiction. But I might be asking for too much at this point.

@Alilunaa vinyl never spoke ever only tavi spoke, vinyl stayed quiet but communicate in gestures, I assume mostly because sense slice of life the episode made specifily to pander to fans like us, its a well known thing that a large portion of fans like a mute vinyl

Floris Lans didn't octavia describe vinyl's eyes as garnet in uni days (that shouldn't have finished at least there's a sequel at some point iirc) and my roommate's a vampire was good.

When it comes to official character colors I'm pretty strict, but if you are talking about the fanmade visions of a character then I'm okay with whatever colors the fan in question says the character is. Floris Lans No, I mean like if a person took a character and gave a completely uncharacteristic color, attitude, possibly clothing, ect... to them as a normal thing for them to have/wear. Take umm... Rainbow Dash for an example. If somebody, a fan fiction maker for example, said that Dash is naturally attracted to girly things, or makes it so that she acts like Fluttershy naturally, without anything happening to cause such behavior, then I wouldn't be able to empathise with something like that because it is unrealistic for her to do such things. That kind of outrageous.

not necessarily Headbanger, after all, the ponies didn't discover fluttershy to be a vampire pony until after they were in sweet apple acres and they couldn't catch fluttershy for what appears to be quite awhile, plenty of time for some pony to lose there way and get bitten, plus I not all too sure that she is completely cured.

Well, it's not awful per se, I just really didn't like it. That, and it's not terribly well written.
When I started reading it I had my hopes that I would turn out nice, but I really didn't want to bother anymore after Octavia became a dog.

Heck (spoilers) I don't blame the villain for hating vampires. Seeing Vinyls actions, they are worse they monsters! Vinyl is a horrible creature. Not for what she is, but for what she does that is in my eyes, unforgivable.

And at least she does kinda atone for her sins of bad characterization. But Vinyl, never does. I can tell ya. Just tweak Vinyls character a bit and make her not completely unlikable, and it would be a fine fanfiction. But I might be asking for too much at this point.

Floris Lans No, I mean like if a person took a character and gave a completely uncharacteristic color, attitude, possibly clothing, ect... to them as a normal thing for them to have/wear. Take umm... Rainbow Dash for an example. If somebody, a fan fiction maker for example, said that Dash is naturally attracted to girly things, or makes it so that she acts like Fluttershy naturally, without anything happening to cause such behavior, then I wouldn't be able to empathise with something like that because it is unrealistic for her to do such things.
