I think that all of the background ponies add something special to the show, each with their own contribution. Derpy adds humor and comedy, Dr. Whooves adds a different form of comedy with the Dr. Who spinoff, Octavia and Vinyl Scratch add insight to where the music comes from, and Lyra and Bon Bon are an example of how friendship is such an important theme. While Derpy is who I favor, all of them contribute something that adds to the purpose of the show, spreading friendship.
Maybe the changeling was Thorax the new leader of the changelings that would explain why the changeling didn’t feast on the love cause if you remember Thorax said he doesn’t like the idea of feasting for his benefit

I love both Octavia and the Doctor but my vote goes to the Doctor. I enjoyed the fact that the writers kept the voices and the characteristics that the fandom created for the background six but the Doctor's lab was amazing and I loved his antics. Also, did anyone notice that Gummy's thoughts were a lot like something the robot Marvin (from The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy) would say?
Vinyl is still a personal favorite. She needs her VERY OWN EPISODE to expand on her array of music! These others have already been fleshed out of sorts thanks to "Slice of Life," but still...
Derpy/Sweetie drops they are the best. I like Derpy because she is cute. I like Sweetie drops because I like how slice of life made her a special agent.

I honestly think that Octavia is unique with her canon. She lives with a DJ and sometimes has to put up with the loud music, she sometimes gets along with DJ-Pon3 (Vinyl Scratch's canon name) really well. I'm glad Octavia is around, she really has a unique character and personality. Her voice fits really well and fans predicted it would sound like how it sounds now.

I have to say Lyra, even though I know many people won't agree. I have a reason, though. Unlike Dr. Hooves, Lyra is not completely developed. Dr.Who fans know all about him, so not much room for fan theories. Derpy is also now pretty well developed. She has had a lot of shows for a background pony, and we know she knows the doctor, she is a postal pony, she likes muffins, and she is Derpy. Not much wiggle room. Octavia is just a bit... Boring. Other than being a roommate with Vinyl, she is dull. Her style is generic, and she is... oh, You get the point!!! Vinyl is pretty cool. It's interesting to find out why she doesn't talk or her obsession with music, but... other than her awesome style, she is plain. She can drop a sick beat though, I'll give her that. Bon Bon, AKA Special Agent Sweetie Drops, is my second favorite. I love the secret identity idea, but I do hate the large assortment of voices she has been given. LYRA OMG. I loooove her! Ive got a video idea. Why are the wings of princess twilight different to a pair of regular pegasus wings?. My idea is that when it was artificially created, it took this form and pagasus ponys have natural wings. We also see the same thing with princess cadence. Her wings are much bigger than for example: rainbow dash.
I think dr whooves must be replaced by spitfire or another pegasus pony for these reasons: they must be like the mane 6 (two unicorns two earth ponies two pegasy) they're all mares and dr whooves is the only stallion spitfire's more interesting just like rainbow dash

0 likesI honestly think that Octavia is unique with her canon. She lives with a DJ and sometimes has to put up with the loud music, she sometimes gets along with DJ-Pon3 (Vinyl Scratch's canon name) really well. I'm glad Octavia is around, she really has a unique character and personality. Her voice fits really well and fans predicted it would sound like how it sounds now.

0 likesI have to say Lyra, even though I know many people won't agree. I have a reason, though. Unlike Dr. Hooves, Lyra is not completely developed. Dr.Who fans know all about him, so not much room for fan theories. Derpy is also now pretty well developed. She has had a lot of shows for a background pony, and we know she knows the doctor, she is a postal pony, she likes muffins, and she is Derpy. Not much wiggle room. Octavia is just a bit... Boring. Other than being a roommate with Vinyl, she is dull. Her style is generic, and she is... oh, You get the point!!! Vinyl is pretty cool. It's interesting to find out why she doesn't talk or her obsession with music, but... other than her awesome style, she is plain. She can drop a sick beat though, I'll give her that. Bon Bon, AKA Special Agent Sweetie Drops, is my second favorite. I love the secret identity idea, but I do hate the large assortment of voices she has been given. LYRA OMG. I loooove her! Just so much room for theories even after Slice of life. Why she sits like a human? ( I love the theory of her studying Anthropology personally) How long she knew Bon Bon, her, her, and that's just it. The rest is up to you. So,

My idea is that when it was artificially created, it took this form and pagasus ponys have natural wings. We also see the same thing with princess cadence.
