i cant believe how consistently you are able to make videos that make me love you even more. as many times that ive that i cant love your work any more than i do, i find myself once again saying. WOW, i love you even more than i did before. seriously. keep this up and who knows what in the world could happen.
I loved this chant have you heard Praise the Sun (part I) by Silver Poyozo. It's got a great choir. maybe collab? I'm imagining full orchestrations with choir and chant sections.
Besides, it's funny as hell when the translation of such a regal sounding song turns out
to be something on the lines of "Celestia! Toilet pizza conudrum downfall. Prefects the boiling tears of drowning rubber ducks!" =)
Why is it that every song I've ever heard sing in Latin spuds beautiful? Is it because my brain can't comprehend the words for being foreign, yet some ancient ancestral knowledge recognizes them and tells me they're beautiful? Or does Latin always sound so amazing?
Sir? We know have showdown usic for a Luna/Nightmare Moon/Celestia related flashback. You are a hero for this. And, as a side note, you have a lovely voice for this!
Sounds more like a late Romantic reinvisioning of a Renaissance style. Renaissance music liked to avoid the kinds of dissonances I hear, especially once the Contenance Angloise came about. But nevertheless, I like it. :D
I'm working on correcting them right now. Do you want them when I finish?
It would be cool to have a latin song with more or less (I'm still not that good) correct grammar.
I really liked this song, but the lyrics...
After 4 years of latin, I can say that they are completely wrong.
You translated a verb as a name (tuitionem) and a name as a verb (illuminabit), and the grammar isn't correct in general.
This doesn't mean the song is bad, of course, but this thing really bothers me.
Apologies for nitpicking: this is not gregorian style. Gregorian chant is monophonic, and its early polyphonic extensions (organum, Notre-Dame school...) don't really sound like this either. Your composition seems more like a Renaissance chorale to me.
I still like it, though.
Also yeah no idea if these lyrics even make sense. First attempt at writing in Latin.
maybe you want to try reading the description before you make a comment?
Ah, lol. The hater was most likely a closet brony, refusing to believe he is because of his fear of "losing" his masculinity.
Rofl, sometimes I just shake my head to the simple minded.
Man coco... This is just amazing... Your voice is so beautiful!
0 likesi still come back to this every year atleast once, and i still love it now as i love it when i first heard it.

0 likesI'm reminded of Zbigniew Preisner's Requiem...and that's every kind of a good thing.
0 likesHuzzah! Now I can venerate Celestia and Luna traditionally. If I'm being blasphemic, I can at least do it respectfully. (I'm Catholic.)
0 likesI have absolutely no idea what you guys are talking about, but please make more.
0 likesonly way this can get better is if you start out with the volume low and slowly crank it up to 100 with headphones on
