So, its not music if you dont like it. Good, i dont like Nightcore, Dubstep, Folk and Noise. So those aren't music genres then, i guess. You see that this Argument is as pointless as the rest of your tries.

You misunderstand the progress of making such a video. These people dont say "oh, hey. I have a bunch of clips here. Lets make a PMV that fits perfectly within the shows canon", thats not how Fanart works. They say "I have an Idea. Lets make it", then they search for a Song and Clips to go with it. Sometimes, like in this case I presume, they have a Song and want to make a Video, putting hours of work into it and put it on YouTube, hoping that someone might enjoy it and those who didn't enjoy it completely tell them what they can do better.

Screaming is one of the most powerful noises a Human can make. And that is used for. It normally implies pain, anger, terror etc. Like you said. And well, that is exactly what the singer want to express. And again i have to contradict. We have seen expressions of pain, fear, anger, sadness etc. in the show. Look at Return of Harmony, Lesson Zero, Party for one and so on. Also, again. That's not how Fanart works. Fans like to take parts of a Show and revolve around them, creating new and amazing things. Many artists create beautiful and meaningful pictures, that you could never ever include in the show. Because its a show for Kids! But moving on.

I dont know where you always that that Screamo thing... this is clearly not Screamo, its Metal, maybe Hardmetal. I guess that's everything I can say to that. If you want to see more, see above.

You hate something just because you don't like the choice of music. You don't just bring up some pretty bad arguments and you downright insult the maker of this Video. So no, you're not beeing realistic and truthful. You're being hateful.

I didn't intend to hop back on here, and I hovered over the "Delete Comment" button contemplating doing so if only just to stifle any additional arguing that this could spawn. However, I have decided against such an idea on the basis that everyone is entitled to their down opinion.

What you're telling him or me is not criticism. It's bias, hatred, and borderline pretentiousness. If you dislike the song, then don't watch the video. This is far from my best work, but it's still something I worked on and many would agree that the video was fairly good. Just because you dislike the video or the genre of music, doesn't mean that it inherently bad in and of itself. You suggest in your first paragraph that Screamo isn't a genre of music, and that the same could be said for Heavy Metal "death bands", whatever that is. This also isn't true.

You seem to think that if you dislike a genre, it doesn't actually exist because it doesn't conform to your tastes. Using your same argument against you, "anyone can pick up a guitar." Does that mean that guitar-based music of any sort is not a genre of music? Of course it doesn't. If you're going to be rude and attempt to rile people up, at least do it in a way that doesn't make you out to be the ignorant one.

Trying to utilize my own words against me may be a clever ploy in most cases. How ever,  Screamo is not a type of music. Any idiot can scream words while a beat, tune, melody, ectra is composed to play in the background. the same could be said for many Heavy metal death bands and such. 

My point is that one. if there is no clips to match what the creator needs from a show he likes and wishes to contribute to the fandom. Then do not create with clips from the show at all.  Utilize something else that would fit. So the creativity was severely lacking.

The music was a horrendous choice, considering this is My Little Pony we are talking about. The song lyrics may have had an extreme version of the basic concept that mlp shares, but the way it is portrayed was piss poor.

I do not pass judgement easily, I only pass judgement when I feel that I have very compelling evidence to do so. 

Screaming usually implies arguments, fighting, anger, pain, terror. Every aspect that has nothing in relation to the show at all.

Screamo is just how people excuse them self for being loud and obnoxious. They think they are making them self heard. That if they are the loudest type of music, then they will be heard and liked above all others.

It may seem like I am being hateful, but I am not. I am being realistic and truthful.

This could have been a constructive Criticism. But isn't. But still, i will try to go through your comment:

Yes, mlp is about friendship and being there for each other. Which this song is also, if you listen to the bullshit heavy metal screamo creap. The singer in this case has some serious problems, experiencing pain, going insane as you wish. Also, he sees no way out of his misery. "I've given up" as the title suggests. Also, he's begging his friends, family etc. to help him. "I'm sick of feeling, is there nothing you can say?" "Tell me what is wrong with me!".

No its not the pink fluffy kind of friendship as we see it in the show. Its much more extreme, as we often see in the metal genre.

Yes, the clips don't completely match with the song. Manly this is because there arent actually any matching Clips from the show. Most fitting would be a fight between Luna and Nightmare Moon. But since they were always shown as only one person. There are no scenes like this.

And that is where the criticism ends. Insulting someone will never get what you want, as you should have learned from the show. Objective, yes. It maybe not the best PMV ever created, but it still objective pretty decent work. The cuts are good and the used effects fitted with the song and the video.

A good criticism should be objective and should have the target to encourage the criticized to make things better on the other hand, it should always include something that had been done decent, which you could have included. But your intention was to criticize a PMV, almost scratching the border of hatred.

To summarize:
As I stated, you failed on many of these accounts. So this comment is not worthwhile and is a disgrace.
