I have a ukulele too! Aren't they awesome? But you just have to keep playing until your fingers build up callouses. My did fairly quickly, but that's because I play violin and guitar, too!

Dodie, with the bleeding finger. You have to keep putting up with it until your fingers get used to it and build more finger tissue. Like muscles..... BUt for the tip of your finger

when I strum I use my finger tips, its much easier and it doesn't hurt at all.
