I actually was thinking about the same a few months ago, I went for the Tmax 530 because of convenience, it has storage space under the seat and it looks so sweet, of course the harley is awesome too haha

I am in love with the parking garage sound, it sounds soooo badazzz!!!!!! The Air / Fuel mix is automatically adjusted via computer, kinda like the mountains, I was getting 60 some miles to the gallopn up there!!! and even riding hard on the dragon too!!!
I kind of thought the idle of the old exhaust was cooler. But..... then out on the street and in the parking garage that new exhaust is crazy cool.
You going to check the plugs for lean running or did the dealer do the necessary adjustments?
See I've been there.The dirt bike sound is size of pipe and internals.I got that on my scoot mufflers the different versions.You can try the db killer just to see what happens.Perf definitely improves over stock.For fun take a piece of pipe about 6" long and bigger OD and hold it over the tailpipe.Rev for sound test.

Hey man did you need to tune your bike after adding exhaust? Is there any backfiring? I'm thinking of getting an exhaust on mine tmax but don't want to invest in more than that.
Yes, and no, the one shown is an open db killer, the other is for europe and is much quieter, that is the one I was talking about adding... which since then have, and reverted to removing them both so that it is a straight open and A LOT DEEPER sounding too. all for now of course. Ill post that vid in a day or so.

From what I remember, the Exhaust sensor would tell the computer to re-tune the fuel flow and there was not too much back fire.
