I love how they actually got all of ponyville to help her study, which I think really shows that the main characters are loved by their community and really shows the value in helping others excel. I think it also shows just how big rainbow dash’s dream to be a wonder bolt was.
Pinkie Pie's sick rapping skills later inspired a song parody called "The Real Pink Pony". You could check it out, if you want.
Between Rainbow teaching Twilight how to fly in the premiere, the two geeking out together in "Daring Don't", and now this episode, I think it's safe to say that this season is the greatest gift a Twidash shipper could have hoped for.
"Pinkie stop rapping!" Is not a quote I'd expect from a show of colorful magical talking horses that teach people how to be good people, to other people.
Relate to Dash a lot in this episode, after all these years, I haven’t found a single study method that works 😭. I can only study with a friend and if I’m by myself, absolutely nothing will be learned 😅
01:21 She can now walk on clouds :> 03:59 Playmare-style centerfold? :J 05:22 Yup, a reference to one Pegasus pony from G1 that was a prototype for Rainbow Dash ;) 07:38 Well, I know: because Twilight is using Human World teaching methods :q And we all know how great they work... :q 09:15 Well.... that... would be interesting to see :> 15:20 This is the only thing that schools in Human World do perfectly: make you feel like Rainbow Dash in this scene. 16:35 Herp derp :D 19:29 How to teach people with school PTSD? You have to do it so that they didn't even notice that they're learning :J 21:07 Keep this in mind: If you want to teach Rainbow Dash a lesson, you gotta involve the entire village :J Remember Mare Do Well? ;J This pattern will reoccur in later seasons too ;> 22:18 Guess we can say that Rainbow Dash passed... with FLYING COLOURS B-)
5:22 Fun fact: That reference was completely accidental. Writer Amy Keating Rogers later revealed that she didn't even know there was a Firefly in a previous generation of MLP, let alone that she was the pony Lauren Faust based Rainbow Dash's personality off of. She just chose that name because it sounded cool.
2:33 "If this is an episode about them studying together, I'm gonna love it." When you say "studying together", do you mean studying, or do you mean studying?
I like rap, but it's a really hard genre to do, and so many people think they can do it when they can't, leading to a lot of cringey music. So many tv cartoons have terrible rap theme songs and it gets annoying. Only a few are good.
This episode is embarrassingly bad. RD knows about the Wonderbolts and is more qualified to teach the rest of the mane six about the history of the Wonderbolts. You don't need to know about the history of the Wonderbolts to join. Meanwhile the episode is trying to teach kids that it's okay to misbehave, and your failure is the teacher's fault. This episode is bad in every way.

This episode makes me feels like Rainbow Dash was a high school dropout.

True, though to hear “You’re smart, creative, and inventive” is quite the compliment coming from the magical prodigy and Celestia’s number 1 student
4 likesTechnically she is. didn't her bullies say she dropped out of flight school in an earlier episode?
26 likesPinkie Rapper Pie is my favorite highlight of this episode, I get a good laugh from her every time. Lol!

39 likesSeriously, Hasbro sold those helicopters in stores. They asked the staff of DHX to put that thing somewhere in the show so it would be canon.
I love this duo (twi and RD), not like a ship, like a duo
29 likesThis episode is just as hilarious and relatable as I remember. Pinkie rapping is a beautiful thing.
