It's really nice language to basics of programming language, you don't just learn python but you also learning programming (if-else, for-while loops etc.) That's the hard part, but when you once learn python, its really going to be easy to learn another languages since you already know what programming is about.
Trick Digger you have it quite wrong there. C is just a low level language, itβs not a functional language like Haskell. C++ is not an OOP language. You can do OOP in C++, even in C, but itβs not mandatory like in Java. C# is like Microsoftβs reply to Java. A totally OOP based cross platform language.

@Michael Iverson i mean my c++ code is basically c with classes(?). i use microsofts visual studio and they regularly update their version of c++ with cool new features (my favourite in c++17 is std::string_view). c styled c++ basically. no need to fully handicap yourself.
