He has an oooold non-pony name called IAmSynthesius, but I don't think that's around anymore. His current name is "Drop Tower" and if my sub feed is right, I think he released a new song today X3
It took me a while to confirm my suspicion that Drop Tower is in fact the phony brony (this was like at least two years ago lmao)
Anyway I noticed that he's pretty successful in the brony music scene, having over 6k subs is pretty much a lot, as compared to his non pony alias which has only like 400+ subs (less than 10% of phonybrony) and not really getting that much attention from non-bronies (look at the comments on his videos, they're all bronies!).
Perhaps it is harder to get noticed when you dont have a specific target audience (eg. brony fandom, undertale fandom, specific anime fandom), or perhaps it is just his style of music is only mostly appreciated by bronies, and not to the mainstream public.
Whatever it is, his musical style is hands down my favourite. In fact, he's been my favourite musician ever since I listened to the first song I've heard from him. He's really talented and unique. Literally no other pony musician makes music that sounds even a bit like his. He's just one of the only few edm musicians in the fandom who's really successful that doesn't make wubs.
Oh and another thing. The PhonyBrony is a pretty unique alias (unique as in, if you were to google search that name, you'd instantly get his links and not some irrelevant stuff. Fritzybeat and tworats are examples of unique alias', because these words don't already exist as a thing or a legitimate word in the dictionary). Drop Tower on the other hand, exists as a thing. If you were to look up that name on google and even youtube, you wouldn't even find the Drop Tower you were looking for.

I always took it as another nod to Celestia's near omniscience, related to her statement "I've been through this before," in reference to everything. Now looking at the lyrics, it's a far more mortal message than my original interpretation.

I can only agree with the song's idea itself, which helps the impression. It makes me think of the moment when Celestia sent Twilight's reports back to her—were she there herself, this could be what she'd tell her. A lively and, in my opinion, rather good track. A little sparse on lyrics and a shade repetitive in the music (though i suppose that may well be a genre characteristic) but this is totally eclipsed by the sheer exuberance. What an amazing song, and a balm against despair. This isn't a genre I normally like but it's one of like, three songs from it which I listen to and love.
