i think parkour originated from the french word par (im not sure of the spelling) witch means by and the word cure (pronounced cur with a rolling r) witch means heart so together makes by heart witch makes sense because the french guy said you have to know the wrought "by heart"
@BlacksVideos actually parkour is getting from point a to point b as fast and effectivly and free running is getting from point to point as stylishly and as cool as possible. so they are very similar but their is a distinction
