I loved to play these flash games on a site called friv in like, grade 2 and I’ll admit it, I still play them today. ( as everyone should ) it is sad to see some games go, but as I learned from my all- time favourite YouTube channel, nothing lasts forever and we need to cherish the memories, memento mori. ( remember death ) ( btw that channel was unus Annus. Don’t bother looking it up because all of the videos and channels are archiving the videos from after they deleted their channel after 365 days )

Holy shit this hit me hard. Back in elementary school, me and all the other kids would play these games on Coolmath at the end of the day. A lot of us had certain games we would gravitate towards and play alot (I was a master at Run 1 and 2). 3rd-5th grade (that's 2011-2013 for me), some of the best times of my life, I'll tell ya what. You've reminded me of so many memories from my childhood that I had previously forgotten, and that's brought me both smiles and tears. Keep doin' you, man, and thank you.

You had to pay for games, but there were websites and websites packed full of fun and innovative games you could play from anywhere in the world
It was a good run, especially if you grew up with a little less. Thanks to newgrounds, armor games, kongregate, poptropica, club penguin, neopets, and yes, even coolmathgames.
And not just the games, but the animators, the bright minds who could get their hands on simple enough tools to do their own animations, movies, stories, action scenes, dramas, choose-your-own-adventures, and even the unsavory films, none of it could've been possible if not for a lightweight and powerful platform that ran on anything with an internet connection.

No Way! I was just revisiting old flash games i liked around when this was uploaded. Flash games that were nostalgic to me were like cartoon network online games and cool math games.

Ok there is a flash game that I remember playing 7 or 6 years ago that I want to find again, but I can’t for the life of me remember what it’s called. In it you play as a hovering wooden helicopter-esc thing, but you had a weapon dangling beneath you and you had a crystal you needed to protect. You had to use momentum and centrifugal force to swing what ever bullshit weapon you chose to smash other thopters to bits. It was fun and had a weird campaignmode.

its december 30th at the time of writing this. i replayed an old flash game i loved on flashpoint called milk quest and then proceeded to do 20 pushups a few hours later. life is okay.

We all remembered playing flash games on websites that were CoolMathGames, Newgrounds, Club Penguin, Addicting Games, MovieStarPlanet, KiZi, Happy Wheels, Gaia Online, types of websites that were our childhood’s memory.

Flash games were truly a clasic, so were rom hacks but rom hacks are still being made. My favorite flash games were SMBX, Super Mario 63, Run, Sticky Ninja, and much more that i don't feel like naming.

@James Murphy  while I like flash its very much outdated unfortunately. It's going to be replaced by a new flash system or something if I'm correct. While flash games aren't very popular anymore or aren't made as much, hopefully this will usher in new content by creators. Sadly all things must come to an end even good things but sometimes what rises from old good things can come better things. Let's hope.

The home of many childhoods, and the engine that supports the small developers, this software needs no introduction to most of us. It hosts the most simple of games, yet they are fragments of our former childhood, having games like papparia’s restraunts, or the run series.
We hold these games, and these devs dear to our heart.

But, everything must come to an end eventually. Flash will die out in 2 days.
Don’t be sad because it’s over, be happy because it happened.
Just remember you were the people that experienced flash at its prime, and no one else in 2021 will.

I'm in complete depression from the fact that almost all flash games in total are going to be shut down permanently and that includes the creator tools from adobe flash in general

I remember playing miniclip games and friv games. And then kongregate then new grounds and cool math's crazy taxi game. Which was one of the first games in the cool math website at the very bottom of the website now a day's I'm literally watching "2 tha left" song everyday. and seeing these games remind me of those one frame ads that had each game in each ad. Fruit ninja came along and then save the orange. Heck even super mario bros crossover the new update and then the old version of the cartoon network and nickelodeon video games website. And here I am not going to sleep.

i remember my cousin coming over my house and we play box head 2 all day and night long and we take breaks to cool down and eat and re energize. Then we go back to the keyboard and it would be like level 36 and we would leave 1 zombie alive to chase my cousin while i block off the entrance with some walls and if the devil comes i put barrels behind the walls so hell shoot it and hurt him and the zombies. just upgrading to all the weapons like rocket launchers and mines and ray guns was fun. those were my weekend childhood memories that i wish i could have shown my son but now i guess ill have to use emulators i guess :(
