Double Rainboom was considered a part of my childhood when I 13 years and still in middle school at the time. I still like that fan made MLP episode featuring The Powerpuff Girls.
My childhood consisted of Thomas the Tank Engine and The Land Before Time. I was homeschooled (after I finished preschool) by my mom who is a retired teacher. I did start reading earlier than my siblings at the age of four. In fact, at around six or seven, when my mom read stories to me and my sisters every night, I no longer wanted to listen to her read books to me anymore because I was more advanced in my reading level.
Yippie! I loved Thomas the tank engine as a kid too. It was always models for me since I'm older. I stopped when I was like 9 or 10 or something and didn't realize they stopped till way later. I felt a bit of sadness when I found out they stopped doing basically the one thing that made the show and production really special.
I used to love Thomas the Tank when I was a kid. My brother and I both did. Also I actually had some MLP toys that I actually have pictures of. So I was into MLP at some point but I didn’t know there was a show around it. I did have a Minty Christmas toy that sang when I was younger tho. I do remember that toy. I wish I could post pictures on here cause I would show you my toy box before my dad and I gave it away. I also did have a baby Pinkie Pie toy and she talked and had a little bottle. I didn’t know about the show until I was in high school so that was a couple years ago. My first episode of FiM was The Cutie Map part 1 and 2. I did see a few more episodes on tv but never the new ones until A New Generation came out and then I binged the entire thing on Netflix and bought the last season on Amazon. I think it took me about two months to watch it all but it was fun. I remember finishing it too cause we were leaving for California on the 12th of January and it said MLP was leaving Netflix on the 31st of January so that’s why I was rushing to finish it cause we spent a month in California and they had no cable at the BNB. Well they did but nothing that interested me. So I browsed Roku and I found the old Gens of MLP. I watched all of them. It was fun. Also my papa died from Covid on the 30th of December 2 years ago so that’s why we were going to California for a month to help my grandma sort through all of his stuff. I didn’t do much there. My dad did most of it. My mom helped with some. I was just kinda there hanging out
