One of the darkest things in the series is found in this episode and yet it's never talked about. It implies that the occurrence of "Fillynapping" exists in Equestria (though I think Foalnapping makes more sense). Kinda puts all these Western-themed episodes into perspective. They tend to have the most real world themes, such as an allegory for Native Americans and American Pioneers.
11:21 "God, this guy is gigantic!" If Princess Celestia ever finds herself longing for a big, strong stallion, now we know just the pony to send her to!
See that apple tree outside Braeburn's house? I think that's Bloomberg. Don't wanna get him mixed up with the rest of the tree and ending up hard to spot
@@whyamisotired5135 No worries! I reply to 5-year-old comments sometimes, lol. But yes, I remember AJ saying that now. Not sure how I forgot about that when I made my original comment.
@@winter2716 i know this is an old comment but in the episode they acknowledge it's the pegasi controlling the weather. aj says they scheduled it bc they needed mud for the rodeo and she wished that the pegasi warned them prior.
Outside of the Everfree Forest, the pegasi are supposed to be in complete control of the weather, but the writers seem to conveniently disregard that fact sometimes.
One thing I really don't get about this episode is the way that Troubleshoes got his cutie mark without even knowing what it meant. Aren't cutie marks supposed to happen when you have that realization?
@@TheBlackQueen Kind of a tricky thing to speculate either way. Forgetting your cutie mark's meaning or becoming out of touch is one thing, but not understanding it to begin with seems different. But technically, you could be right. I don't know, the rules on how Equestria works gets complicated sometimes.

I still can’t get over the fact that Troubleshoes is a pony, when he’s the size of a Clydesdale. Pony genetics in Equestria are weird.

In hindsight, this episode did an incredible job of foreshadowing Crusaders of the Lost Mark. The continuity is very impressive!
3 likesI wouldn't be surprised if Troubleshoes was Eeyore's cousin.

Impossible, one is a pony the other is a donkey.
1 likeThey both share the same gloomy attitude most of the time, so it’s a strong possibility.
7 likesActually you can see the apple orchard in one scene. So that means Bloomberg is somewhere.

0 likesThis is a good episode. Troubleshoes and his conflict are pretty great. The western theme is interesting. Braeburn is terrible with watching children.

2 likesAt first, I thought Troubleshoes was a horse, but I found out he is a pony on the MLP website.
Trouble Shoes has the same blank expression as Big Mac. Too bad he’s not in this episode! Could’ve had someone to talk with!
3 likes(9:15) That had me thinking too. Don’t the Pegasi have any involvement with the rain?
