It's sad because I've heard him say he doesn't like making those videos. But because he was lucky enough to cling onto the algorithm with those vids he will fall into the pit of obscurity and no one will watch him if he changes.

I remember watching Cowbelly TV back when I was too busy with work to spend hours and hours on Twitter/Facebook/Tumblr/Reddit to keep up with meme culture but still wanted to get the jokes my friends made about memes.

It was really good for that.

Also the arc where he said "Understandable, have a great day" repeatedly was pretty good.

I personally think Cowbelly's content lacks effort. I mean no hate for the guy but now since there's a ton of people making almost similar content as his but with great voice acting it just shows how lackluster Cowbelly's videos is. But mad respect for his charity stuff tho.

See, the difference between this guy and BTM: He never intended for this to be super popular. He did this one meme compilation. And it was popular. And he did a few more. And they were popular. He never expected this sudden surge, while BTM could immediately be identified as a tryhard, trying to break the system. Graham just found this content that worked, and stuck with it. He doesn't clickbait, and he doesn't abuse the system, like a lot of popular channels nowadays.

Gotta give CowBelly credit, he raised a ton for charity. He streamed for ~5 Days straight fir fundraising purposes. Pretty admirable IMO.

There's nothing really wrong with him, he's just someone posting the things he's seen amongst his discord community and expanded these small little funny posts (or memes) to another community. In this case youtube. Basically, he runs a community that interacts with and posts memes. Seems nice to me.

The best thing I can use to describe Cowbelly's stuff is Meme Junk Food. It probably isn't the best stuff you can be watching, but it's a good enough time waster and gets the job done.

He opened a discord server where people can submit memes to be featured, and Graham handpicks the best memes that are wholesome and not offensive to any culture race or social group. His discord server has also become one of the most active discord servers.

The thing about his videos is that they keep you updated on memes without searching

I watched him when he only had 30k subs or so and did club penguin ruined. I even watched the early comment awards, but at one point I realised he (and he even admits this) makes whatever will get him the most views and the most money, not what he's proud of or enjoyed creating. How the fuck is cowbelly a meme stealer? He never claims the memes as his own, he literally just clumps them together and presents them in a video. That's not stealing a meme, that's circulating a meme, and a meme is only a meme because it gets circulated to the point numerous people have seen it (and usually also enjoyed it enough to reference it themselves).
By this shitty, whiny definition, anybody that posts a meme they didn't create is a meme stealer, and if one should never steal memes, all memes would die and no longer BE memes.

Calbel made his name from the credits on a show on TV, he didn't copy the name but he made it just like the name was (first 3 letters if your first name the last 3 letters of your surname) so Calbel made videos about funny moments in club penguin but then cowbelly started stealing a bit of them and posting it on vine, Calbel noticed that and asked him to stop but he made a YouTube channel by the name of "CowbellyTV" and continued the Club penguin series then he started stealing memes. Unlucky for Calbel, people started calling him "imposter" "unoriginal" and stuff like that, so he took action and asked CowbellyTV to change his name. CowbellyTV agreed and changed to "GrahamTheChritian" and thats it....

On the note of original content, while he doesn't do it anymore Cowbelly used to have a lot of "[insert videogame name here] ruined videos" where he used the text to speech program on an actually original script to make fun of the game while playing it (in a very ironic matter,) in fact that's where his channel began "Club Penguin Ruined." He also has a pair of videos on his channel where he plays Halo with enraged gamers who are bad at the game and they are absolutely hilarious, some of his best content.

Edit: On a side not it's also worth mentioning he gets most of his memes from his personal discord server where he hosts "Comment Awards Submissions" events and picks the best memes, and then credits whoever posted them at the end of the videos. So while the people who send him memes probably stole them, he himself is not a thief.
