Crim called Millie Moxxie's "beard" which, if im not mistaken, is when a gay man dates/marries a woman for the sake of hiding their sexuality (tho i think it can be ppl of any gender/orientation, if the relationship is specifically for concealing your orientation, whether your partner knows it or not, your partner is "a beard")
Don't you know that the reason why Blitz's obsession with horses is running gag in the show because Brandon Rogers Blitz's voice actor is a Brony in real life???
This episode was both dark and interesting at the same time, It was good that we finally got more info on Moxxie's past especially with how he met Blitz. But with everything about Moxxie's dad it's no wonder he never talked about his past.
And i was just as surprised as everyone else that Chaz was both Moxxie and Millie's ex, and the fact that he tried to seduce both of them the word "threesome" instantly came to mind but i'm glad it didn't happen. lol
My most favorite scene in this episode is when Millie kills all of Crimson's goons, it was totally badass!!!
Crimson really does despise Moxxie’s caring tone and physically abuses him whenever he shows weakness, but he had to begrudgingly let him go when he realized Millie means business. And the very guy he intended to have Moxxie marry is straight up broke. Crimson’s own Death Stare.
The animation and art were really good in this episode. I was not a fan of certain "scenes" (quickly overstayed their welcome) but I absolutely treasure the moments with Millie and Moxxie. Both scenes with Moxxie and his father were among some of the best and tense moments in the show. Really well done with some amazing voice acting. I was so angry when I saw Chaz leaving Moxxie behind. When you really care for someone you share everything together; the good things and the bad things. I'm finding Moxxie's relationship with Millie even more wholesome now. A monogamous relationship like Moxxie and Millie have is rare in hell.
I felt so bad for Moxxie in this episode. His "No, no, no, no, no" was heartbreaking. The fact that Crimson very likely killed Moxxie's mother is just...I have no words for this.
Blitz' jealousy about his employees' love life is still there, but I liked how at the same time he used that opportunity to find out more about Chaz.
The only thing I wish we could have had was a Moxxie and Millie team-up. Millie messing up demons from up close while Moxxie takes down everyone from a distance as a highly-skilled (maybe even the best in hell) sharpshooter. They'd be a team you'd never want to mess with.
Thank you for your amazing reaction. It was so much fun watching this together with you for the first time. Thank you so much. If everything goes well, I'll start with a new job in April/May. I hope I'll be able to support you on Patreon one day.

6 likes(1:30) You’d think by now we wouldn’t know about Blitzø’s obsession with ponies? His brony self shows.

@@TheCommenterDragon Not to mention that little trinket he bought from Loopty’s money. That was already a dead giveaway.

@@twist58 Yeah, and with how this episode ended i have no doubt that we haven't seen the last of Crimson, He'll probably put a price on Moxxie's head.

6 likesHA! Glad you’ve jumped onboard with a new Helluva Boss!
4 likesGuess that foreshadowing Moxxie made in episode #1 played out smoothly about a “shi**y dad.” And Chaz? Wow. 😮 An Owl House voiceover crossover!
(17:39) Fourth wall broken: Chaz Style.
