Yes, I was also so happy with that eyeshadow palette, especially as I picked it up on an impulse for the cheap price alone! People who are really good at make-up probably don't need it but I find the advice on the back of the palette about which colours to match and where to put them on the lid very helpful if I'm lacking inspiration myself

I used to buy expensive cleansing balms for years until I realized that using almond oil or coconut oil does the exact thing but ALOT ALOT ALOT better. Takes a way waterproof anything. That clinique one and emma hardy were my favorites but i would never go back from easy simple vegan oil. A little almond oil, massage and then a damp hot cloth. DONE .CHEAP. GREAT. :) <3

Liz Earle is soooo good. Literally a few days after I started using it (hot cloth cleanser, spritz toner and moisturiser) my skin became really clear and now I hardly ever get spots! I mean, my skin wasn't awful to start with in terms of spots, but it was very dry and the moisturiser I was using I had to use like 7 times a day. Now I only use it once a day and it's great :)

idk if this is a tip or anything but, for the hard/soft boiled eggs, when you're cooling them down in the cold water, crack them a bit. this lets the water seep in through the cracks and it'll be easier to peel! :)

I have a tip for the banana pancakes and it is: if you mixture is quite runny just a table spoon of flour or however much to get it to a thicker consistency. I hoped it helped :))))

Shame about the Revlon foundation, that's my holy grail! I have to use the oily/combination formula otherwise it will slip off but it has AMAZING staying power for me! Maybe that was the doo-hicky for you?

May I suggest a menu? My current favourite food is fried(?) young pumpkin(I don't know how to translate it)
But it is easy to make! slice up the young pumpkin and (it's better if you could sprinkle bits of salt on the slices and leave them for a while) get a raw egg and whisk(?) it so the egg becomes unseperatable yellow. Put oil on your pan and fry each slice after dipping into the mixed egg! Of course flip once when one side's done. This is just so delicious. But maybe it might be salty because in Korea we usually enjoy it with cooked rice (and with other side dish(?)es as well :) Hope you enjoy this food!

I usually make banana oatmeal with quick oats, milk, and some brown sugar.

boiling eggs more energy-efficiently: use little water so that only the bottom of your pot is covered. Then put a lid on it and boil them for as long as desired. The steam in the pot will cook them (the same way a egg boiler does). Saves you water and energy :)

The way you do your eggs is actually something that is considered a national food in Finland! (Minus the tabasco sauce) We call it "munavoi" which directly translates into "eggbutter" (we're imaginative I know) and we put it on these special tiny pie/bread things. I've grown up on that so it feels funny that someone would eat it just regularly, and like, not at a special family occasion or at Christmas :D Oh, and lovely video btw! Loved the fast editing in the food bit, made my inner video editor happy.

Hi Dodie! So I'm an esthetician (basically means that I give facials to people and I know all about skincare and how to take great care of your skin). I too have oily skin and I struggled for a while to take care of the redness and acne that I had. I used a lot of Lush products to help with my skin. I would say that you should try Ultrabland, Eau Roma or Tee Tree toner, and Skin Drink by Lush. Those all helped me so well with my skin. Oil fights oil and if you use a cleanser that makes your skin feel tight after you use it, that means your skin is being stripped of it's natural oils which then makes your skin produce more oil which gives you more acne. I'd say to use Ultrabland to take off your makeup and then the Liz Earle cleanse and polish to make sure you really cleaned your skin, then use the toner because toner restores the pH balance in your skin and also takes off any more residue on your skin and finally use Skin Drink or the moisturizer in this video from Liz Earle. I guarantee you will see a difference in your skin.

oh, those boiled eggs mashed with butter (minus the spices) are also a traditional finnish food thing! :) we call it "egg butter" (munavoi). it's usually served with these small finnish rice pasties called "karelian pasties" (karjalanpiirakka/riisipiirakka). it's delicious!
