@@Jorge.ALXNDR ehh 11 has more problems tbh, 10 may be 9 years old but its still a modern operating system and still has support, plus its also the most used version of windows currently and runs on older systems compared to 11 not being able to run on systems older than 2016-2017 while 10 can run on systems as old a 2004 plus windows 11 is basically a reskin of windows 10 you can even go into the registry and go to Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProductName on 11 and it will say its Windows 10
@@nintendofan_64 Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSC 2021 will still get security updates and such until 2032. It's also massively debloated and isn't as bad about forcing gimmicky new features you didn't ask for. I don't plan on using Windows 11 at all until the LTSC version is released.

How does anyone still uses Windows 10? I am using it at my work and the old Files Explorer is so horrible in every single way possible. Hope Linux gets more programa support, but going back to 10 is not an option. Let's not even talk about how messy and disorganized the Settings app is on 10. Unusable.
@@Leandruhh IIRC disabling from taskbar settings still leaves its logo on the start menu however doing it from registry removes all traces of it. Maybe I'm wrong since I did that a long time ago. Also the added benefit of doing it from registry is I don't get results from the web when searching from the start menu.

I try changing edge settings and nothing. i open copilot website and write anything like a dot and it says "daily limit of conversations was achived. please log in" and i am loged in and when i press log in it refreshes the website and copilot still dosent work.

video idea: running non uwp apps (.exe files) in windows 10x kinda like how you did with windows 10 s. i did some research on my own and it does have the standard windows folder structure, system32 and registry, you just need to assign a partiton called 'MainOS' a drive letter to see all of those.
p.s. if you downloaded the windows 10x .vhdx and double clicked on it then windows told you that it's corrupted, it's actually not. the partitions just don't have a letter assigned by default

Okay, I get the AI hate and all but honestly.. I'm pretty sure as many people that won't miss it exist, just as many who will miss it exist also. I know I'm one of them. The feature could have had pretty big potential, had it been developed properly, and maybe just locked behind something like paid to use credits system. It would have had simply improved the system by that much more and people who don't want/need it, would easily find a way to get it out of their systems, per usual. Even then, if someone wouldn't go as far as to remove the feature from their system entirely, Microsoft already offers a way to hide the taskbar button/shortcut to Copilot, right in system settings. Hate for the sake of hate without any valid, constructive criticism is as useless as it could ever be and that's what many people do, also going as far as to be toxic to and making fun of those that do enjoy AI in public. That said, I expect typical, ignorant responses to my comment about this - This is the online world after all, and people in the real world are often not that much better either. If, however, you are a normal person willing to simply talk/discuss this as a normal human being, you are much welcomed and encouraged to post a response.

Everyone hates Copilot but it's literally good and genuinely a smart feature. Microsoft just needs to not Zune it and actually put effort into it and let it grow. Much better than Cortana or Siri in my opinion.

Maybe I'm wrong since I did that a long time ago. Also the added benefit of doing it from registry is I don't get results from the web when searching from the start menu.

0 likesOkay, I get the AI hate and all but honestly.. I'm pretty sure as many people that won't miss it exist, just as many who will miss it exist also. I know I'm one of them. The feature could have had pretty big potential, had it been developed properly, and maybe just locked behind something like paid to use credits system. It would have had simply improved the system by that much more and people who don't want/need it, would easily find a way to get it out of their systems, per usual. Even then, if someone wouldn't go as far as to remove the feature from their system entirely, Microsoft already offers a way to hide the taskbar button/shortcut to Copilot, right in system settings. Hate for the sake of hate without any valid, constructive criticism is as useless as it could ever be and that's what many people do, also going as far as to be toxic to and making fun of those that do enjoy AI in public. In Settings> Personalization > Taskbar, you can turn off Copilot. However, if that's not enough and you wan to disable it completely, you will need to do this in registry.
To do so, launch Registry Editor, then go to
HKCU\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows
On the left, right click on the Windows folder, go to New > Key, name it "WindowsCopilot"
Then select WindowsCopilot, on the right, right click and create a DWORD value, name it "TurnOffWindowsCopilot" and set its value at 1.
Restart the computer to have the change take effect.
