The only album of this obscure New Zealand trio is decent folk-rock of the early '70s with occasional pop, psychedelic and blues tracks, although it's not significant enough to be interesting outside the specialized collection circuit. The trio manage a pleasant low-key sound that has a somewhat unusual, diffuse, laconic hip quality, especially in vocals. This makes a nice change from the leagues of early 70s albums painted with the heartfelt maul of singing and songwriting.
Like many rock records from that era made away from the main recording centers of the United States and the United Kingdom, it feels a little behind the times, it sounds more like a record from 1970 than an album from 1972 - not a big difference, but noted at a time when trends in pop music were changing so quickly. A few songs sound a bit like hiring minor league cousins in Country Joe's - scrubs of better reflective psychedelic melody, and California's psychedelic influence is heard in the harmonies and organ-waving "Far From Here." Much of the material has a fluttering feel that doesn't try too hard, approaching the almost jazzy feel of hippie cool on "Millions."

Le seul album de cet obscur trio néo-zélandais est du folk-rock décent du début des années 70 avec des morceaux occasionnels de pop, de psychédélique et de blues, bien qu’il ne soit pas assez important pour être intéressant en dehors du circuit des collections spécialisées. Le trio gère un son discret agréable qui a une qualité de hanche laconique quelque peu inhabituelle, diffuse, en particulier au chant. Cela fait un beau changement par rapport aux ligues des albums du début des années 70 peints avec le maul sincère du chant et de l’écriture de chansons.
Comme beaucoup de disques rock de cette époque fait loin des principaux centres d’enregistrement des États-Unis et du Royaume-Uni, il se sent un peu en retard sur le temps, il sonne plus comme un disque de 1970 qu’un album de 1972 - pas une grande différence, mais noté à une époque où les tendances de la musique pop changeaient si rapidement. Quelques chansons sonnent un peu comme l’embauche de cousins des ligues mineures dans Country Joe - des gommages d’une meilleure mélodie psychédélique réfléchissante, et l’influence psychédélique de la Californie est entendue dans les harmonies et les agitants d’orgue « Far From Here ». Une grande partie du matériel a une sensation de flottement qui n’essaie pas trop fort, s’approchant de la sensation presque jazzy de hippie cool sur « Millions. »
