When I was about 3 in 2005, I would watch spongebob all of the time, and I had this film on dvd. I loved the film itself, but I would always skip to the end to listen to the songs in the credits like ocean man and best day ever. It’s even funnier because they’re memes now, and most people don’t even know why they became memes in the first place.

This movie, The Incredibles, Mean Girls, Spider Man 2, Shrek 2, The Polar Express, and White Chicks are going to be 16 this year, I’m only 17 and I feel so damn old

Damn, this masterpiece of a movie was made 16 years ago?? I remember watching this all the time when I was 4. I took those days for granted, but I would give anything to go back and be the naive child I once was. Thanks Stephen Hillenburg, and everyone who worked on this show, from voice actors to animators, for making such an amazing show that will always be apart of me. I hope you are at peace, Stephen... the one and only ocean man.

This was 16 years ago? Was it really that long ago when I was a child? I've never stopped to think how long our lives really are.

It never occurred to me that film released around the same time I was born, it’s off about a year but it’s still kinda funny how such a big icon in my life has sort of aged with me for better or worse

Was that... really 16 years ago? Only feels like a little bit less than a decade... Sure it was 2004, but still, it didn't seem like it was that long ago... I still remember when I got my hands on the Spongebob Squarepants movie video game... Took me hours to pass the goofy goober level with Patrick, I kept missing the trampolines that you were supposed to jump on to cross over the main lobby of the goofy goober restaurant. Oh well, at least Battle For Bikini Bottom is getting a remake. Which is great! Except I never got to play it, but still.

It is literally a cherished childhood memory of mine seeing this movie for the first time when I was five. I can't remember much from that age but I remember that day well. I wanted to sit all the way in the front of the theater for such a special occasion and right after the patty wagon was unveiled there was technical difficulties which delayed the movie a little bit.

So Plankton stole the King's crown and sold it to someone in Shell City. Apparently, a guy on the phone says thanks to Krabs for selling his crown in Shell City. Krabs tries to break the phone, he breaks it but the voicemail still goes on. The king knew that he stole it. So he burned him, he got in on the janitor's water bucket. But then he gets frozen by the king and apparently says that if Spongebob doesn't get it in 10 days, he'll burn him. But Patrick comes in and counts to 9, The king says 8, then 7 then 6. But then Spongebob choked him and told him to stop but then he said 5 days. And the king said 6 days to get it back. And the end of the story. Spongebob and Patrick got the crown back. So Krabs was safe from being burned.
