I remember in the spring when I went roller skating with my friend. Her mom works at the rink, and so we got to pick the music. We listened to dodie music until the rink opened. I learned to skate that day, and it was one of the most amazing days of my life. How often do you get to go roller skating while listening to dodie music on the speakers? I would totally relive that moment again if I could.

once, when i was in middle school, i was in a book club. one of the books we were reading was called “me and the pumpkin queen.” later on in the year, we had the opportunity to go to a competition for the book club (?? not really sure why.) anyways, for one of the sections of the competition, each club had to either reenact the book, or somehow present the book to the audience and judges. so naturally, my group chose that book, and made little dances and a parody to this song. i was then chosen to be the actual pumpkin queen, where i danced on stage, wearing a pumpkin costume, singing ‘The Pumpkin Queen.’

I learned to skate that day, and it was one of the most amazing days of my life. How often do you get to go roller skating while listening to dodie music on the speakers?
