And now, we get an end to one of the most intimidating villains on the show.... and he never spoke a single word.

I really enjoyed your reaction. Thank you! This was one of my favorite episodes in the series. Not only because of Zuko, but also because we see how much Aang values the opinion of his friends, putting them above his own interests. If Aang had been on his own he might have taken the risk with Zuko, but he was not going to do it with his friends at his side. I find it a nice touch how even after he wanted Zuko to be his teacher, he made it clear the others would have the deciding vote. The sweatdrop on Zuko's face when it was Katara's turn was a nice detail; he knows very well what he did was unforgivable.

I loved that scene with Sokka and his boomerang. The ending scene with Katara always stayed with me. It was brutal but she has no reason to trust things are going to be different from last time.

Really glad that Zuko was accepted into the group of Aang and Co (even though Katara didn’t like the idea for obvious reasons). Like Sokka said, it was weird seeing Zuko being on the side of good but nevertheless, this’ll only make Team Avatar stronger. Great reaction bro and I’m really excited for the next one!

Something that wasn't explained in the show was why Combustion Man didn't back off when Zuko offered to pay him double to stop. According to the writers though was the reason because he knew he could get a better reward from the Fire Lord than from Zuko if he took down the Avatar.

I always thought it was just personal for Combustion Man to get back at the Avatar after their last fight

What’s up, dude! Great reaction! The episode you have been waiting for) Also, I feel like I’m the only one who didn’t know Zuko is going to teach Aang fire bending the first time I was watching the show, so I feel like I’m dumb :( Since you say it was so obvious.. welp.. not everyone is smart ig..

Don’t worry, I say some pretty stupid stuff in my shows all the time lol

Zuko seeks redemption and he finally found it. Katara is still not buying it, but at least Aang now has an ally that firebends.

Zuko is probably the best animated character I know that started out bad then became good.
