A point that EmpLemon does not make, that I want to make sure EVERYONE understands: YTP artists are NOT paid for their work. Your subscription serves one purpose: support. If you don't like someone's work, then be constructive about your criticism, and consider the fact the artist does NOT have to listen. YouTube Poop is, and always has been, about the artist. It is an exercise of one's creativity, NOT a business. If you WANT to see a sequel to a video that you really like, then 1) State so nicely, or 2) Provide financial support (donate). If you can't understand this simple fact, then, quite frankly, you don't understand how the world works.

That's good. I'm glad you made this video just to clear everything up. I kind of feel bad for the comment I left on The Sempsins. I thought the change in quality recently was due to to you lacking the enjoyment for it. When actually, you'd regained it and the time of the Pixar poops was actually when you weren't enjoying it so much. I guess we've been so conditioned to expect these types of YTPs that when you change the style it just feels off. I always thought that when you just enjoy it, that enjoyment spreads to the people watching, but when you try too hard to please your audience it ends up backfiring. I suppose it also has a side effect of almost attracting the wrong audience, too. And then, when you try to go back, you can't or else people get pissed off. But, the most important thing is that you yourself enjoy it. So, I'm glad that you are a lot more now. If smaller poops work better for you in your everyday life, then do that.
I hear you, man. I am a double major and have a horrible workload on me as well. You just have to have fun with it, man. I see you understand that. I think a lot of YouTube Poopers have that stigma stuck on them where they feel like they have to do better than they did before. It's nice to see that you have broken through this. I think that is one of the main reasons why you are still around. It's really a load off of your back when you don't have to worry about this. It sucks that your "fans" are whining and complaining horribly about your continuation to make YTPs after 5+ years and expect the same situation years ago when you were a different person with a lot more free time.

I honestly prefer the shorter YTP it's a good short burst of laughter. You already have some of the most "classy" Poops out there. At least compared to others. It's not just looped animation, warped voices, or constant swearing. It's legitimate comedy.

I had a similar experience, when I said I was taking another short break from ytp, the comment section and even private messages were flooded with bullshit like: don't leave you just got back or stop being a lazy ass bitch and make despicable meme 2, so I had to make a video to show people that I'm taking a break cause my fucking dog died. And then people started apologizing for what they said, and you know what, I don't need their fucking apology. People don't seem to understand that I'm a kid that just made a ytp and became a celebrity overnight. I never expected this, that doesn't mean I'm not thankful for all the support, but I miss the days when people have me positive feedback and didn't bitch about my videos being to short. And even if my dog didn't pass away and I just needed another break cause life is hard, people can at Least respect that I have a life. Ytp shouldn't be a chore, I do it cause it's fun. But people are too stupid to see it.

Mate, make what you think is funny and don't stress out about making videos. YTP isn't like a cubicle, where your boss (subscribers) show up and go "Eyy, Steve, I'm gonna need that YTP on my desk on Wednesday or you're fired".
We started making vids around the same time when, dare I say, the community was different. Most YTPers around that time uploaded videos once a week/month. Thing is, it's been over 5 years. I'm nearly 22 myself. I have a job/life and make videos like once every 6 months or whenever I feel like it. A lot of my older stuff either isn't that funny/good and my sense humor has changed a lot in those five years, so I can sympathize with you when you say you drop in subbers when you make a new vid. I feel like half subscribed a few years back, then you make something and they go "Who is this again?" and unsub. I don't want to go back to making YTPs with only random swear words and sex jokes in them. Even though that's what seems to be popular, it's not funny, and I don't like doing it.
I personally have been wanting to do things other than YTP but feel like no one would watch them since they expect only Spongebob YTPs all of the time. A bit like you in the Pixar/Long YTP situation. In all honesty, you make what you like and if they're a real fan of yours, they'll stick around. Don't let people stress you out over it, they're goddamn YTPs after all.

Honestly, poops have just gotta be fun to make, it reflects in the content if someone's making them reluctantly. A 4 minute poop can be an amazing poop, my most favourite one of all time is just 120 seconds long, gotta only do something if you love it. I'd say you should keep doing collabs with others, half the production time on your part while at the same time promote others like you always do so well.

I wish I was... learning that people were so mean about something like this really grinds my gears.... the newest video (The History of the Downward Spiral) is really eye opening for me as I had never really seen anything about the oldest eras of YouTube. I may not have been there to see your YouTube Poops, but I'm here now watching you- and I'll watch whatever you want to make, whatever it is. It may be because I'm easy to please, but I think it's because you are always a joy to watch, no matter the topic. I never really knew about car racing before your video about it, but I watched it regardless, and had a great time. Your other videos, also on 'odd' topics? I watch them too! Lets hope this downward spiral everything has been going towards will reverse course and return us to security, but even if it doesn't, we will all keep trying to brave the wave regardless.

Once I found out you're a high school student, and once you started releasing shorter videos, I totally made the connection and understood. Do I enjoy the new videos as much as I enjoyed the old ones? No. Do the new videos have the mind-blowing amount of genius artistry that the old ones had? No. But you are a person, and you have far more important things in your life to worry about than what some strangers on the internet think. Personally, I feel that you are a great ytper, and I feel as though these shorter poops are extremely funny, they always have at least one really good joke that sticks with me so I can get a couple giggles during school. Whoever thinks that you have decreased in quality, they are dead wrong, you are just as funny as before and I am glad I subscribed.
I have a few words to say. Hopefully, I captured exactly what I wanted to say in them. YTPs can be nonsensical and short, and YTPs can have a story and length. Neither one is right or wrong. They can both exist, but coming from one source will probably lead to this exact situation.
If you make YTPs for shits and giggles, then do whatever you want. You probably won't get popular any time soon, but that wasn't your goal to start with. If you make YTPs to make others laugh, then it's recommended to make them high quality. Throwing shit at a wall and saying it's funny won't get you likes from many people, and not getting likes leads to your video sinking to the bottom of the vast YTP sea. The only exception to this is already being popular. An installed subscriber-base will get you views regardless of the quality.
If people subscribed to you because you're "that guy who makes some really good YouTube Poops", then seeing anything else in their subscription feed will no doubt lead to confusion. Confusion has done a lot in human history, hasn't it? This is why alt. accounts exist. They are where the subscriber pressure is lower, and it doesn't matter what you post because it's just an alternate account
Once you become popular, you lose your identity. I'm sorry your not happy with the inevitable.

I think you find a good balance of the ear rape and other effects, and you always have a good theme to have a bit of continuity for a running joke for the video which never fails to make me laugh and cheer me up. You don't deserve any of the hate from all of the self-centered kids who can't even appreciate that they get vids from you in the first place, so keep it up, and do your own thing.

to be honest, whenever you uploaded the longer ytp videos, I could tell within the jokes and quality that you genuinely did not enjoy making the video. having fun making them and laughing at your own jokes is what makes a good ytp. I always feel that if you're going to make something, in whatever art form, you should release it in the best most final quality that you yourself think it is so that you can be proud of it. If it isn't and that means you only do say one a year or something then so be it. I think your most loyal fanbase will understand. When was the last time you were on YouChew, if I may ask? I won't deny that the site used to be very guilty of the things you're accusing it of, but in my experience it's become far more laid-back and open-minded in the past 2-3 years. The last time I saw people there complain about YTPers just for being popular was in 2011, I think.

While I've never personally experienced fans like that, I can imagine the annoyance you must feel from being bossed around on what is essentially your hobby. Props to you for deciding to take your channel back and do what you want to do and make what you want to make. At the end of the day, the creative process is a selfish one, but it needs to be. I will say that your videos were actually good. They had randomness and clever jokes and running gags. Sure, they weren't perfect, but they were damn good and most of the content from stuff like the uncredibles was a hell of a lot of fun to watch. So yeah, your videos were good, and I'd argue that your recent ones are still good.
I've only been a passive observer for YTPs for a while, but one thing I've noticed is that they're starting to be treated like works of art that we need to have high standards for. Taking a step back and looking at that, it seems pretty dumb that we're expecting high quality work of videos that work off of random masturbation and terrorist bombing jokes.
I love YTPs just because of how random they are, and it's those little nonsensical jokes that don't really make sense at the time but I find hilarious thinking back on it. So if stuff like the simpsons vid is what's making you happy, then godspeed. Hope I can find myself laughing at it along the way.
Also, it's like you said, that vocal minority is the minority. Don't forget you have a thousand other people still laughing at your stuff for each nasty comment someone makes.

It's the grand paradox of YTP: kids start making their own YTPs in their mid teens, when they have all the time in the world to work on their videos. Then when they finally build a decent fanbase, they've reached an age where they have other needs and responsibilities to take care of and YTP takes a backseat to the detriment of the new fans they've suddenly stumbled upon. Had a very similar experience with my own channel. It's good to see you're making the changes you need to to enjoy making content again, Emp, because if you aren't enjoying what you do, then there's no point in doing it at all.
A fundamental problem with Youtube Poop is it's on Youtube -- which comes along with Youtube's infamous comments section where the satisfied lurk and the indignant will be jerks. Just do what makes you and the people who continue to thumb up your videos happy.

That's what ytps are supposed to be. Do them so you have fun, not so that other people enjoy them. If people do enjoy watching them, that's a nice bonus, but making them is a stress-relieving hobby, not a laborious chore that has to get done.

1:34, that's what I used to be until mid-2013. Then I was obsessed with guitar hero for like a year or two. I look back and I think wow, I really needed to find another hobby. I was so lazy in those days because I was in standards english in the 6th grade not doing as much schoolwork as I should have been doing, not caring about sports, and not taking care of my body because I was a scrawny stick always wanting a place to sit down and do pointless bullshit. I'm glad my parents made me do cross country when I went to the meeting for that because that was the start of getting me away from doing YTP's and guitar hero 24/7. And now that I'm not doing YTP's as much, I feel more motivated to workout, play basketball, and run track. And what I just said kind of explains how you feel in this video, but don't stress it man. If you wanna do something like YTP, do it. But if you don't wanna make 7 minute poops, then don't do it, period. It doesn't matter what others think. This is no chore, it's a hobby and ppl tend to take advantage of it.
The only thing I dont like about any of your poops (and every other poop for that matter) is earrape, everything else you do is genuinely entertaining to watch. Keep up the gr8 werk!

I think it sucks that you were put into a situation where you had to make this video. The most important thing for tons of us is you enjoying what you do. They're still funny, if they're short, I can just watch another one, because you have a LOT of good content, which is too good to watch just once! In fact, I've watched some of your videos for over 4 months. They're not. BAD. AT ALL.
I did sub for the longer stuff and I usually enjoy those kinds of poops. I just don't see the appeal of like 8 second videos that aren't funny and add nothing to anything and just recycle the same Ogre jokes we've all seen ten hundred trillion times before, if that's you're thing all the power to you, but they just bore me.

I guess I prefer that stuff simply because it feels more like narrative based... that may be looking way WAY too deep into it, but the type of poops I like and genuinely look forward to watching often are ones that have had more thought and effort put into them, rather than incredibly short ear-rape fuck fests (I'm not an ear-rape hater, I just enjoy it amongst non-ear-rape content, so it's more of a sudden surprise, rather than 'Oh so this vid was purely to torture my ears? how very lovely) that just feel like a waste of a good video....
when I first watched this I was surprised how much on the offensive you were. Then I looked at some of your previous videos, and looked at the comments, and wow your right. I was thinking of screwing around with making some of my own ytp's, don't wanna get too invested into it. I remember the different eras of ytps. I feel there was the simple video rewind, pitch changing, slow mo shiz. then there was graphic shiz (I'm talking potatoshitz and awefawful, etc). started watching these when I was like 8. I felt my sense of humor evolved with da poops. I'm personally fine with deez shorter poops, I prefer dem alot more now actually. they are less time consuming to watch and it's nice to get a small laugh dose in just to uplift my day. I could disect why poops are funny, but I'm not gonna go that far. Ima just watch deez and enjoy em. I'm junior in high school now, school be tough, life be tough, relationships be tough (or getting one). gotta power through it doh. we all got problems, so screw us man. you do the dew.

I uploaded my first YouTube poop ever yesterday because I liked yours so much, I liked the format of the long YouTube poops that were like movies themselves with credits and a higher production value. I respect what you want to do but I'm going to keep on doing that format and I just hope it doesn't get to that point where it's just a grind. Because I actually had a really fun time making mine. I guess you just have to make sure that you're passionate about what you're doing.
If you're doing something that you don't enjoy, it's either a job or a chore, and you need to assess what kind of benefit you get from doing that thing and whether it's worth the effort. I'm glad you could get this off your chest, though!

I personally don't care what you do with your ytps, as long as you can make one at least every few months, (regardless of length/quality) and that it is funny to people. That is as much as I ask from the biggest ytp-er I'm subscribed to.

To be honest, I'm not exactly picky when it comes to YTPs. If I find it funny, cool. If I don't, then it's probably not my taste or whatever, and I'll move on. And yeah, taking it too seriously would take you out of the experience. I myself watch them for a laugh, to see what kind of random schit pops out of the internet now and then. We make YouTube Poops simply because it's satisfying for us to have created something which we enjoy ourselves. We get the satisfaction simply from the phrase: "I made that." And any views, likes, and subscribers come as an afterthought. And THIS is why the EmperorLemon catastrophe of March 12 is such a d**n shame.

Practically crippled at this point. The Krusty Krustacean's Kantankerous Kommercial with millions of views, and a huge fan-base: Terminated in the blink of an eye. And finally, The Spingebill Collection, a poop that's been around about as long as most of EmperorLemon's fans. 1 year of building up his subscribers, are all down the drain."

Well good I came to the train when you reached 100,000 subscribers to see you are not robot. Simpsons-poop actually left some things I keep using when playing games, because the things in video are well-combined. Shorter is better in my opinion. You could combine them in future if you feel like so some year... Yes, some year. I won't unsubscribe you, because I agree with you: People must do what they like, not what others likes.
I did enjoy the Simpsons ytp. I can also understand where you're coming from. As a university student, my life is often very busy to the point that I make ytps 1-2 times a month, and they're nowhere near as good as yours, lel. A lot of the commenters on YouTube feel some deluded sense of entitlement and will compare you to whatever their "ideal" Pooper is. I don't think the problem is length or content, it's just the size of the channel now. Even if the channel was half of what it is now, you're going to have a group of people with different personalities, beliefs, etc. that will express their opinions and even boss you around as if THEY were the reason why you have many fans.
Not to mention, people might of subscribe at different times which creates a group of people not used to or understand the old/new type of videos. You can't expect everyone to agree with content whichever you made. Not with a fanbase this big. You have to take everything people say with a grain of salt. Otherwise, the long haul is going to be rough.

I thought the Simpsons Poop was fine. I understand that it takes a long time to make a 10 minute linear poop and as long as they're funny and not preachy then I don't care if they're fifty minutes or fifty seconds. Peggy Slips Acid into Hank's Coffee is one of the funniest YTPs of all time and it isn't even 2 minutes long. Not every YTP has to be as long as a Spongebob episode. GROW UP, PEOPLE!
I don't understand it with people hating on EmpLemon, he's made great YTP's in the past (and I still enjoy AND watch those)! If you think that he can make YTP's quickly on a daily basis, let's see you try, and then get criticized for your work and see how you feel about it. If you were to choose between making videos and school, school ALWAYS comes first! @Pickleodeon Scientistalleo I mean that there actually are good ytps on this site that are short and simple (they're in a category called 'ytpeen', I think), so length isn't the main issue that people are having with his videos these days. Memes like Shrek stopped being funny in 2013 and he uses them in every one of his videos. They aren't going to magically stop being cringe just because someone quotes them in a ytp. No disrespect to him of course, I'm only pointing out that this is what I think people actually dislike about his current stuff.

On his simpsons video, I saw more comments criticizing his meme usage than those criticizing the length of his video.

There were more comments saying "i don't care about the hate comments still love ur stuff, m8" than there were actual hate comments. But of the examples, I guess what I was actually thinking back to were the ones that called it "uninspired", which I attributed to meme usage. And more people were actually complaining about his earrape usage, which isn't much of an issue for me. Earrape can be pretty funny in a ytp. With that being said though, my opinion still stands that his videos would likely seem less uninspired to some of his unimpressed fans if he just laid off the shrek memes for a while.

I understand that humor is subjective, but the only reason I pointed out that I think he uses to many memes is that he seemed like he was struggling with most of his fanbase. If no one had a problem with his videos and everybody loved them, I would have kept my opinion to myself.
And good YTP to me... That's a tricky one, there's so much I like in a good ytp. I guess one that doesn't take itself too seriously and uses cool and unique effects. I'm not sure, actually. I know for sure what I don't like, but it's tough to explain what I do like. That's the way it is for everything with me.

I think it's time to stop making YTP's all together. That way, years from now, you'll become a piece of YTP History. It's better than destroying your video editing reputation near the end. I'll always stay subscribed no matter what, because I don't give 2 shits if the punchline is stale or the memes are outdated. However, I feel like you should just all together create a brand new YouTube channel where your fans don't have as high of expectations for your videos. Along with discontinuing this one, so it can stand as a marvelous piece of YTP history in the future.

Personally, I think that the Sempsons was a refresher. That was, like, the one 'bad' upload in the past few months (in my opinion), and it was really because of "We're gonna miss the contest!". I don't know, it just seems like the Sempsons was something a long time coming. With luck, we'll be back to seeing content that both audience and creator will enjoy, and we can forget about this mess.
I enjoy your older, longer style of YTP. I really do, and I'd like if you went back to it, but you know what? Long YTPs are the reason why I don't really watch Michael Rosen poops anymore. Most of the good ones are too story driven (which is fine, but don't make it into something that feels like a chore to watch. It's also what happens when you apply too much logic to them like you said) and most importantly, too long. The reason why I haven't watched any of the Michael Rosen Birthday collabs is because of the length, specifically last year's collab which exceeded 3 HOURS. I love YTP as much as the next guy, but there's no way you'll get me to watch a collab that's twice the length of your average feature film, it gets tiring after a while. Every one of your poops are already perfection, no matter how you make them. Like you said in that video, it's YOUTube Poop, make it how YOU want to, not how Mister Poop Critic Extraordinaire wants you to.

Does anyone else really hate the "I'm to big! I wish I didn't have as much subscribers" subtext here. A lot of small YouTubes put way more effort and love into videos than many big YouTubers including emp lemon. This just seems like bitching at this point. Sure I personally thought the longer videos were funnier and more entertaining for everyone than these smaller ones. But if you gain a following that has many small YouTubers begging for so they can continue their work on a larger scale. Not ytps actual progressive programming like shows, cartoons things that may end up on TV or a higher platform. A real entertainment platform give credit where it's deserved to people with potential not people giving up.

Only about half (maybe less than that) the subscribers you have are true fans that will respect your decisions and will love anything that's fun to make for you.

I thought the change in quality recently was due to to you lacking the enjoyment for it. When actually, you'd regained it and the time of the Pixar poops was actually when you weren't enjoying it so much. I guess we've been so conditioned to expect these types of YTPs that when you change the style it just feels off.

I suppose it also has a side effect of almost attracting the wrong audience, too. And then, when you try to go back, you can't or else people get pissed off. But, the most important thing is that you yourself enjoy it. So, I'm glad that you are a lot more now. If smaller poops work better for you in your everyday life, then do that.

And then people started apologizing for what they said, and you know what, I don't need their fucking apology. People don't seem to understand that I'm a kid that just made a ytp and became a celebrity overnight. I never expected this, that doesn't mean I'm not thankful for all the support, but I miss the days when people have me positive feedback and didn't bitch about my videos being to short. 9 likesWe started making vids around the same time when, dare I say, the community was different. Most YTPers around that time uploaded videos once a week/month. Thing is, it's been over 5 years. I'm nearly 22 myself. I have a job/life and make videos like once every 6 months or whenever I feel like it. A lot of my older stuff either isn't that funny/good and my sense humor has changed a lot in those five years, so I can sympathize with you when you say you drop in subbers when you make a new vid. I feel like half subscribed a few years back, then you make something and they go "Who is this again?" and unsub. I don't want to go back to making YTPs with only random swear words and sex jokes in them. Even though that's what seems to be popular, it's not funny, and I don't like doing it.
I personally have been wanting to do things other than YTP but feel like no one would watch them since they expect only Spongebob YTPs all of the time. A bit like you in the Pixar/Long YTP situation. In all honesty, you make what you like and if they're a real fan of yours, they'll stick around. Don't let people stress you out over it, they're goddamn YTPs after all.

Emp, you're one of my favorite YTPers, simply because your style is so against the grain of most other popular YTPers. After watching this video, I respect you even more. I'm sure it's not easy being subject to a bunch of whiny teenagers that demand the world from you. A lot of the time, you pop in a good joke, some controversial, but usually funny. I don't know why everybody is treating you like this, but I still like your YTP's. I started making YTP's in my free time, but only 2 really short ones, which weren't that great, but none the less, you are a big reason I made them. Just keep doing what you're doing. And I think you should make more update videos like this, I actually like these. Makes it feel like you're not just doing this thinking it's one big audience, it's more personal.

Once I found out you're a high school student, and once you started releasing shorter videos, I totally made the connection and understood. Do I enjoy the new videos as much as I enjoyed the old ones? No. Do the new videos have the mind-blowing amount of genius artistry that the old ones had? No. But you are a person, and you have far more important things in your life to worry about than what some strangers on the internet think. 1 likeYTPs can be nonsensical and short, and YTPs can have a story and length. Neither one is right or wrong. They can both exist, but coming from one source will probably lead to this exact situation.
If you make YTPs for shits and giggles, then do whatever you want. You probably won't get popular any time soon, but that wasn't your goal to start with.
If you make YTPs to make others laugh, then it's recommended to make them high quality. Throwing shit at a wall and saying it's funny won't get you likes from many people, and not getting likes leads to your video sinking to the bottom of the vast YTP sea. The only exception to this is already being popular. An installed subscriber-base will get you views regardless of the quality.
If people subscribed to you because you're "that guy who makes some really good YouTube Poops", then seeing anything else in their subscription feed will no doubt lead to confusion.
Confusion has done a lot in human history, hasn't it?
This is why alt. accounts exist. They are where the subscriber pressure is lower, and it doesn't matter what you post because it's just an alternate account
Once you become popular, you lose your identity. I'm sorry your not happy with the inevitable.

I think you find a good balance of the ear rape and other effects, and you always have a good theme to have a bit of continuity for a running joke for the video which never fails to make me laugh and cheer me up. We live in a time and age where our government keeps trying to diminish the concept of fair use with one SOPA-like policy too many, getting to the point where it's just corporate abuse, as pointed out by the Nostalgia Critic.

I won't deny that the site used to be very guilty of the things you're accusing it of, but in my experience it's become far more laid-back and open-minded in the past 2-3 years. Props to you for deciding to take your channel back and do what you want to do and make what you want to make. At the end of the day, the creative process is a selfish one, but it needs to be. Only if you are invested and interested in what you are doing, will it be pure and satisfying for you and as a result, have a better end product. 0 likesI will say that your videos were actually good. They had randomness and clever jokes and running gags. Sure, they weren't perfect, but they were damn good and most of the content from stuff like the uncredibles was a hell of a lot of fun to watch. So yeah, your videos were good, and I'd argue that your recent ones are still good.
I've only been a passive observer for YTPs for a while, but one thing I've noticed is that they're starting to be treated like works of art that we need to have high standards for. Taking a step back and looking at that, it seems pretty dumb that we're expecting high quality work of videos that work off of random masturbation and terrorist bombing jokes.
I love YTPs just because of how random they are, and it's those little nonsensical jokes that don't really make sense at the time but I find hilarious thinking back on it. So if stuff like the simpsons vid is what's making you happy, then godspeed. Hope I can find myself laughing at it along the way.
Also, it's like you said, that vocal minority is the minority. Don't forget you have a thousand other people still laughing at your stuff for each nasty comment someone makes.
I personally like the short YTPs better. They're all really funny and every single one is just jammed with humor!

0 likesIt's the grand paradox of YTP: kids start making their own YTPs in their mid teens, when they have all the time in the world to work on their videos. Then when they finally build a decent fanbase, they've reached an age where they have other needs and responsibilities to take care of and YTP takes a backseat to the detriment of the new fans they've suddenly stumbled upon. Had a very similar experience with my own channel. It's good to see you're making the changes you need to to enjoy making content again, Emp, because if you aren't enjoying what you do, then there's no point in doing it at all.

0 likes1:34, that's what I used to be until mid-2013. Then I was obsessed with guitar hero for like a year or two. I look back and I think wow, I really needed to find another hobby. I was so lazy in those days because I was in standards english in the 6th grade not doing as much schoolwork as I should have been doing, not caring about sports, and not taking care of my body because I was a scrawny stick always wanting a place to sit down and do pointless bullshit. I'm glad my parents made me do cross country when I went to the meeting for that because that was the start of getting me away from doing YTP's and guitar hero 24/7. And now that I'm not doing YTP's as much, I feel more motivated to workout, play basketball, and run track. And what I just said kind of explains how you feel in this video, but don't stress it man. If you wanna do something like YTP, do it. But if you don't wanna make 7 minute poops, then don't do it, period. It doesn't matter what others think. This is no chore, it's a hobby and ppl tend to take advantage of it.

when I first watched this I was surprised how much on the offensive you were. Then I looked at some of your previous videos, and looked at the comments, and wow your right. I was thinking of screwing around with making some of my own ytp's, don't wanna get too invested into it. I remember the different eras of ytps. I feel there was the simple video rewind, pitch changing, slow mo shiz. then there was graphic shiz (I'm talking potatoshitz and awefawful, etc). started watching these when I was like 8. I felt my sense of humor evolved with da poops. I'm personally fine with deez shorter poops, I prefer dem alot more now actually. they are less time consuming to watch and it's nice to get a small laugh dose in just to uplift my day. I could disect why poops are funny, but I'm not gonna go that far. Ima just watch deez and enjoy em. I'm junior in high school now, school be tough, life be tough, relationships be tough (or getting one). gotta power through it doh. we all got problems, so screw us man. you do the dew.

I respect what you want to do but I'm going to keep on doing that format and I just hope it doesn't get to that point where it's just a grind. Because I actually had a really fun time making mine. I guess you just have to make sure that you're passionate about what you're doing.

We're just a bunch of dudes who f**k around with clips of s**t from the internet. But, without a doubt, I believe that YTP is the epitome of creativity and imagination.
If anything, YouTube Poopers are more righteous than contemporary artists, because we don't ask for anything in return. We don't get paid a dime for what we do. Practically, the only retribution for what we do is the occasional comment of praise or joy. But we don't need money. We don't even need praise. Such a brilliant YouTube Pooper, along with his en-genius content was wiped out in a matter of hours. Unquenchable Blood Lust, the Poop that can't catch a break. That poop was taken down for the second time in 13 months. The Spingebill Collection 2 Collab entries removed, leaving this account badly damaged with two mediocre poops. Practically crippled at this point. The Krusty Krustacean's Kantankerous Kommercial with millions of views, and a huge fan-base: Terminated in the blink of an eye. And finally, The Spingebill Collection, a poop that's been around about as long as most of EmperorLemon's fans. 1 year of building up his subscribers, are all down the drain."
In all seriousness, do what you think is best for you, EmperorLemon. Another MoBrosStudios is NOT the next thing this community needs.

As a university student, my life is often very busy to the point that I make ytps 1-2 times a month, and they're nowhere near as good as yours, lel. A lot of the commenters on YouTube feel some deluded sense of entitlement and will compare you to whatever their "ideal" Pooper is. A few weeks ago, some random smartass decided to bitch about a video I made 2 years ago, claiming that I was not as good as someone like cs188, even though I'm not trying to be like them at all. Even if the channel was half of what it is now, you're going to have a group of people with different personalities, beliefs, etc. that will express their opinions and even boss you around as if THEY were the reason why you have many fans.

If you think that he can make YTP's quickly on a daily basis, let's see you try, and then get criticized for your work and see how you feel about it. 9 likesI mean that there actually are good ytps on this site that are short and simple (they're in a category called 'ytpeen', I think), so length isn't the main issue that people are having with his videos these days. Memes like Shrek stopped being funny in 2013 and he uses them in every one of his videos. They aren't going to magically stop being cringe just because someone quotes them in a ytp. No disrespect to him of course, I'm only pointing out that this is what I think people actually dislike about his current stuff.

Also, standards were applied since people started posting quality material in the genre. You have to have some standards to follow acts like Orpheus and Fawful, this isn't the same thing that it was in 2006.

Also, I thought that "speak for yourself" in your comment was an implication from you that I'm cringy myself, and therefore shouldn't talk about anyone else being cringy. Sorry that I misinterpreted that part of your comment. But I still do believe that even though not everyone feels this way about his meme usage, most of them do. On his simpsons video, I saw more comments criticizing his meme usage than those criticizing the length of his video.

There were more comments saying "i don't care about the hate comments still love ur stuff, m8" than there were actual hate comments. But of the examples, I guess what I was actually thinking back to were the ones that called it "uninspired", which I attributed to meme usage. And more people were actually complaining about his earrape usage, which isn't much of an issue for me. Earrape can be pretty funny in a ytp. With that being said though, my opinion still stands that his videos would likely seem less uninspired to some of his unimpressed fans if he just laid off the shrek memes for a while.

0 likesIt's fine, man. I understand that humor is subjective, but the only reason I pointed out that I think he uses to many memes is that he seemed like he was struggling with most of his fanbase. If no one had a problem with his videos and everybody loved them, I would have kept my opinion to myself.
And good YTP to me... That's a tricky one, there's so much I like in a good ytp. I guess one that doesn't take itself too seriously and uses cool and unique effects. I'm not sure, actually. I know for sure what I don't like, but it's tough to explain what I do like. That's the way it is for everything with me.

That was, like, the one 'bad' upload in the past few months (in my opinion), and it was really because of "We're gonna miss the contest!". I don't know, it just seems like the Sempsons was something a long time coming. Most of the good ones are too story driven (which is fine, but don't make it into something that feels like a chore to watch. It's also what happens when you apply too much logic to them like you said) and most importantly, too long. The reason why I haven't watched any of the Michael Rosen Birthday collabs is because of the length, specifically last year's collab which exceeded 3 HOURS. I love YTP as much as the next guy, but there's no way you'll get me to watch a collab that's twice the length of your average feature film, it gets tiring after a while. Every one of your poops are already perfection, no matter how you make them. Like you said in that video, it's YOUTube Poop, make it how YOU want to, not how Mister Poop Critic Extraordinaire wants you to.

I loved that Simpsons poop. It was random and goofy and showed you had fun with it. That's what I like out of a poop. I can tell that (I'm gonna get raped for this) some people have fallen in the laugh factor, for me it's my opinion, not yours! like AwfulFawful. It seems to me that his videos are more like LSD Dream emulator. They're weird, and seldom funny. To me, mind you. I don't own your opinions, fellow commenters. I'm absolutely on your side dude, if these guys can't accept that your a human fucking being. Then they need to leave. We have work to do, money to make, families to feed, or we have college, an investment worth tens of thousands of dollars, that you can't waste doing YTP's. I feel you about the whole, people criticizing the YTP's that you had fun making, if you look at my channel, all of my videos make no sense, or are just retarded, and they have inside jokes that only me and my friends will get. But I don't give a shit because I had fun making them, I got spammed with, "this makes no fucking sense" "this is why YouTube sucks" "why is this here?" (All comments I've deleted) and so many dislikes I had to reupload them just to reset the counter. But I refuse to take them down because they mean so much to me personally. So I agree, and further urge you to let go of your subscribers, dont try to appease them by making any YTP you dont enjoy making, because if its not fun to make, then its not worth the effort. Keep doing YOU, and I'll stick around I've always been a big fan, and you've been an awesome inspiration!
