From what I recall, issues with a few fan content creators/collaborators being found-out to be groomers and possible actual pedos. Issues with fanmade content getting Cease and Desist letters from Hasbro, fans being upset with writing and the direction that the show went, Equestria Girls spin-off, fandom toxicity towards females and other fandoms. Many brony artists deleting their channels, possibly getting signed to labels, or just leaving the fandom altogether. Same could be said with many content creators. Honestly, I’d just search it on YT and much more qualified and researched individuals can better explain it, give specific details, and are far better researched and qualified than myself

I was only 8 when this fandom became big, so I only enjoyed this show casually as a little girl. but videos like this, that I watched when I first discovered YouTube, make me wish that this fanbase was still big. they made some amazing things, some of the most heartfelt things ive seen from a fandom, and it truly was a wonderful show
I used to watch this when I was like 5 or 8 years old. I'm 15 now this gave me nostalgia I used to be a part of the Mlp fandom, it brings back so many memories

this is very cool and i bet it took a a lot of time to make this perfect which it is, but can i just add maybe you should had the patterns match the ponies, not just in colors like their elements, their destiny, or how they act. for rarity you could of had a needle and thread moving as sound waves! but don't get me wrong this is already beautifully done!

This one didn't come to me easily, I spent hours on Youtube trying to find a good song, and looking back at it, I could have tried to find an even better one. But overall I tend to choose awesome songs I've stumbled upon, it's just pure coincidence :P

I made most of the stuff in the video by hand by combining all kinds of stuff together. In this video I used quite a lot of programming (expressions) in AE, since it would have been extremely difficult to get stuff to move the way I wanted to without using a bit of code... And I kinda don't make a storyboard, most of the scenes are simply in my head. A storyboard could actually help me out a lot, I might consider using them :P

Well for the record, I didn't dislike the video for it. I'd be blind if I couldn't see the talent and effort that went into it. I'm just sick and tired of seeing those precious, pretty ponies constantly represented without the seventh part of their group.

Besides, failing to include all of Twilight's friends except the most important one, and failing to include a background pony that the mane six probably barely know are two completely different things.
That's just a term bronies invented because the "mane six" create an evenly-balanced unit and provide an overwhelming sense of feminine cuteness that Spike can't. A fanbase's reaction to any given character has even LESS to do with how important that character is.
Yeah, it was originally supposed to focus on the six ponies because it used to be more about friendship between girls than friendship in general. Then the writers slowly began to realize he fudged-up it was that the kid who lives with the lead pony didn't actually have any friends, and started to include him more. You're trying to say that the guy who works his ass of for her, stays more loyal to her than any other character, has no other friends or family is just a sidekick. Bullshit.

Yeah, but what about the App and how much errr.... special effects stuff here and how much hand animation? Does it require programm-skills for writting scripts, for example? Is it possible for average AE user to compose something like it? I'm seeing it as a hell lotta minimovies glued together. Also, i can't imagine what storyboard for it could look like.
@CreeperInDisguise IDK if it's a plugin, or something built into AE. Although it's something I'll be looking into shortly, I'll keep ya posted on what I find.
@CreeperInDisguise Yeah the thing in the outro was made with Newton 2 :3 . I haven't found anything that would be as good as it, though it only works in 2D space. A plugin called Particular does also have an option to make particles collide with a "floor layer", but it only works well with very small particles.
@TheAcleps / @TheAcleps2 I think I'll check out Newton. Although in Trapcode Particular, I haven't seen the floor layer collision you're talking about.

The story was originally intended to have 6 main characters: Twillight Sparkle, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Apple Jack, Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie. There is no 7th Part of their group. And no if it's Spike you mean he is actually just a side kick. If you think about it he always does nothing and then randomly appears in the last minute to wright a letter because half of them are too lazy to write it themselves, even though they got magical unicorn horns.

You made me quite nervous about permission thing, Im using monstercat song right now, I tought I would need permission, phew, good thing that it doesn't apply to non monetized vids.
Monstercat lets people use their music without permission if you credit the artist and do not make money from the video. If I would have wanted to upload this to my primary channel, I would have needed a permission, since my partner contract states that all my public videos must be monetized...
its like a defense game you get four cannons and shoot missiles and if you dont shoot all of them the video will stop... after your done it the video will start from where you left off :)

Then the writers slowly began to realize he fudged-up it was that the kid who lives with the lead pony didn't actually have any friends, and started to include him more. You're trying to say that the guy who works his ass of for her, stays more loyal to her than any other character, has no other friends or family is just a sidekick. Bullshit.

0 likes@CreeperInDisguise Yeah the thing in the outro was made with Newton 2 :3 . I haven't found anything that would be as good as it, though it only works in 2D space. A plugin called Particular does also have an option to make particles collide with a "floor layer", but it only works well with very small particles.

And no if it's Spike you mean he is actually just a side kick. If you think about it he always does nothing and then randomly appears in the last minute to wright a letter because half of them are too lazy to write it themselves, even though they got magical unicorn horns.

You want him to be a main character but he never will be. He is still an important character though, being the only one who went with Twilight through the portal (not by their choice ofcourse). It shows he is still important but still not a main character. All he did in the movie was give support, like any good sidekick.

0 likesok so i been going through lots of pmv and im starting to give up after about an hour or so...i found one (im PRETTY SURE it was a pmv for mlp such as this or dive game or dork) and well it was maybe 2-3 months ago and it started off as any regular song then it got like dubstep and it had a girl singing but i have no clue who sang it what it was called i dont even remember what i was watching when i heard the song idk the lyrics either....can ANY ONE PLEASE HELP ME OUT HERE xD i kind of remember her singing about some deep stuff i think?? like "my love or hate for you runs through my veins" or something like that....and just UGH IDK some one please help me out lol just comment here any ideas you think it might be if i find anything out about the song i will comment here to let any one who cares know :P thanks for any help :]
