I was surprised he didn't address Chrysalis's morals. They're easily the most justified out of any other villain's motives.

Oh please!!!!! I knew all along she was not cadence, her scene from her past and her attitude now was totally different and she has the ability to spread love. Wow yea they should have, sometimes I feel like they should make the friends consistent and develop, not just go with the story and have them act just to continue the story.

Shouldn't Shining and the others be suspicious of Twilight's behavior too when she pointed Cadence??? Shining knows that Twi was close to Cadence and the other five know she's almost always the nerd who's up to something that does good in the end.

Here's an idea. Do a special "DPC" about Hearts and Hooves day on Valentine's Day. That would be 20% cooler than doing it another day.

A canterlot wedding is my second favorite episode in the show because it had so many good new characters and moments, the only thing I didn't like about it is that twilight's friends were completely blinded and fooled by Chrysalis and didn't at least have a little bit of concern out of nowhere.

Do the power ponies next because the lesson seemed too superficial to me spike had his doubts about being important but he knew his friends were always there to support him and twilight will always love him what else can you pull from the episode

I was wondering if you'd do "Yakity-sax" another episode fans don't like much coz of it's morals (I think? I saw some comments somewhere but can't remember where... They were under the impression that the only moral was "doing what makes you happy", which was a lesson Pinkie of all people didn't need to learn!) Anyways, that episode has potential coz, as I argued, it keeps showing how Pinkie's friends approach the problem in the wrong way, saying ALL the wrong things, and not even considering that someone as 'happy' as her can get depressed. In the end, the lesson was not for Pinkie to learn, but her friends.
(Also, I get real invested in those episodes Pinkie - or anyone, actually - looses her colour and act in a complete opposite manner ~psychology~~)

You should anyalse the season 4 finale. It has a great moral to it and it would be great fun to decode the morals.

When I watched this episode, I was in Twilight’s side all along. And also I was disappointed at her friends. It’s true that no one knew Cadence as well as Twilight. But what about princess Celestia and all her friends? Princess Celestia knew Twilight since she was a foal and her friends should’ve had more trust in Twilight. They might have bin disappointed in her back then but I was disappointed at them. But they all learned a lesen to trust Twilight more including princess Celestia. That’s why I liked it at the end.

The main reason I believe, Twilight began to question Cadence's behavior may have been due to their time together as fillies. When you've known someone for that long and to see them suddenly change, after reuniting.

That being said, none of the other 5 ponies knew Cadence before the wedding. So, they're buying into her ways seemed sort of legit

one thing I've started to notice that bugs me is siblings turning against each other. sister hooves social, this one, brother hooves social, and the first two episodes in season one. it really gives equestria a bad name.

When Twilight makes that face as Celestia is leaving, oh right in the feels. I can't really blame the other five for not helping Twi, after all the script said they shouldn't. They needed to let Twilight save the day, a lot of the two-parters focus less on friendship until the very end and more focus on "Twily is awesome". I do love Twilight but it seems a lot of them just try to throw an explanation for why her friends and the royalty+Shining can't help until the end. I just don't like that.

One thing that was strange to me is that Twilight didn't think more carefully about the complete turnaround in Cadance's personality and the fact that she didn't recognise her. She did believe that Cadance was real after all.


I think the moral is also that you shouldn't make accusations without proof.

I think you should analyze Luna Eclipsed. It's funny and has some interesting morals.

I would appreciate you doing a video on the "Season 4 Pinkie Pie" where she had her ups and downs. As in where she wasn't at her best in Filli Vanilli, Pinkie Pride was great.

The reason why twilights friends didn't help or give a second thought about Twilight and Cadence for many reasons.


1. They didn't think that it was as important as the wedding.
2. They were preoccupied with their tasks with the wedding.
3. They thought that Twilight was over reacting.
4. They thought maybe Cadence change since the last time they saw each other.
5. They thought that Twilight was so stressed out that she assumed the worse.

You could analyze either Bloom and Gloom or Castle Sweet Castle, both have good morals.

I was just wondering if you could briefly talk about all the times that the mane six failed to be there for one another. Such as when Twilight thought Pinkie was jealous of Rainbow and Gilda's friendship or when Twilight knew there was something wrong with Cadence/Chrysalis

I'm one of those rare guys who gets annoyed by A Canterlot Wedding. It's not exactly fun to watch, and Chysallis (Too lazy to spell check) and Cadence's introductions here feel very bumpy. The writers want us to care about these two new characters, but from how little we're told about them, I really don't.

learn from your past mistakes and remember the lessons you've already learned so you don't make the same mistake twice

hey this reminds me, how much of a plot twist would it be if actually one of the mane six is actually a disguised changeling? like from the battle in canterlot a changeling replaced one of the mane six and since then the original pony is prisonner somewhere, maybe it's a plan since queen chrysalis saw the power of friendship and now wants the ponies of equestria and the changelings to live in harmony.

Notion: This was definitely one of the saddest scenes in the show.

i kinda think that twilight was a bit over reactive, because she should have taken her brother aside and asked a few questions, instead of just strait up accused her of being evil, because what if she was ACTUALLY WRONG?

Well my thoughts are this, even though busy he couldn't been the ENTIRE TIME. heck she didn't even know that he was engaged. Weddings take time to plan. And yes Celestia should have seen the RED FLAG since she knows Cadance as well if not better than Twilight and Lesson Zero does knock the girls on the head. Hence why many fan fics show different outcomes to that rehersal. Many mroe dark and the lements become inept for Twilight feels like her friends are not friends anymore.

You should definitely analyze twilights kingdom if you already did then analyze sweetie bells dream I don't know what the episode is called but I do know it has to do with Sweetie Belle and Luna

While this isn't an episode thing, it is something that I (and possibly many others) have noticed about the fandom. I'm of course referring to placing our notions and concepts of the societies we live in onto Equestria, and even putting some other things. As an example I will be using Cider, mostly because this seems to be fixation of the fandom for adult drinking. The majority of the fandom, to what I've seen thus far (all the  deviant art and fan fictions I've encountered), have stated that Cider is the equivalent of beer in Equestria and thus every member of the brony analysis community I have watched has stated that the main six are clearly old enough to drink and thus are within a certain age range. I would like to point out how this is a stupid conjecture and assumption. Case one only an aged cider, something that is at least has to happen with the cider sitting around for about a year to come close fermentation (to my knowledge). Point 2, children as young as the age of 6 were drinking alcoholic beverages as societal norm as recent as the early 1800s, it was not until the repel of some kind of prohibition on alcohol (once again to my knowledge, I should probably do some kind of research on this and write a paper up fro the academic minds of the Brony community to read) that the concept of legal drinking age was established. Also these are equines we are talking about, herbivores have bodies better designed to process plant matter than an omnivore such as a human, they also would have clearly different ideas regarding life partners and family structures. However that's a discussion for another time, back to my cider rant. Another thing to point out is there are other potential beverages avaliable that could be used that do indeed have alcohol, like Meade or Ambrosia (which are made by fermenting honey, something that is shown to be quite accessible in Equestria). So why is cider used as the default adult beverage amongst so many in the Brony communities? Why does nobody bother to specify what kind of cider? Why do they just say cider and then use the drink as an adult beverage?

For all we know Equestria has yet to develop the concept of adult beverages and children as young as the CMC could theoretically be allowed to consume alcoholic beverages like wine or actual beer, so why impose a concept that's overarching in our world onto Equestria when we have nothing to support the idea that the concept is even a thing in world of the series? Before you go applying your interpretations of concepts in our world you should first step back and critically think about it. Ponies are herd animals, that means they probably don't see having multiple life partners or mates as taboo (unlike many of the first world nations of world), Ponies are herbivores (that means their bodies can better process plant matter, and materials derived form plants), these ponies have magic and in all likelihood have lifespans on par to modern humans (the only thing I'm willing to agree with the majority of the fandom with out question), since they really have had monarchs that are well over a thousand years it is reasonable to assume they have very stable political and economic base. Something else I have trouble with is that much of the fandom arbitrarily seems to decide Celestia and Luna roughly a thousand years old, which means they are completely disregarding that it was stated that Princess Celestia has been ruling for that expressed amount of time (these fans, you know who you are, need to learn how to expand the age of Celestia and Luna to ages that take Celestia's ruling time into account in addition to the levels of maturity Celestia and Luna have shown during their screen times in the series proper).  Long story short we need a set of guidelines to help the fan base without stifling its creativity. The thing is locking in on concepts in our world and applying them to Equestria is actually limiting the fan bases' ability to expand on potential lore of the world Equestria inhabits, we need to stop doing that and start seeing how we can diverge from the expressed societal concepts of our world that seem to dominate our lives here in our world.

Wow, I really had  lot to say here, I hope someone actually take the time to think critically from the walls of text I just threw up.

What if friendship is why other species can’t have cutie marks? It makes sense to me, the reason ponies had cutie marks was because they joined earth pony Pegasus and unicorn. All of the other races haven’t experienced something like this before to our knowledge, so what if that was the big push that created cutie marks what if that magic that saved the ponies was actually the first cutie mark! 🤔 I could be wrong I’m not really a theorist myself so it could just be a coincidence! And when princess cadence was throwing away applejack food it was green magic doesn't Chang no matter how old you are twilight always had pink magic and so did shining armor but it may be just their adult but when twilight was hatching spike when he was still an egg her magic was still pink meaning magic does not change

I think the Episode is Good. Now what am going say is just my opinion 
I think the message is trusting your instincts is good But Its just I feel like The Message is more of a Don't Jump to conclusions Tape of message. The reason In the First 2 seasons, One of Twilights flaws is That she jumps to conclusions In episodes Like Griffon the brush off,Swarm of the Century other episodes and this episode. This flaw comes from twilight being very smart,Twilight Gets one type of information and sticks to it. When it comes to spells,Or magic twilight learn about the information and facts about those things. But when its social problem, friendship problems,Or a problem that She and her friends are dealing with Twilight sticks to that one information. Its show if She can be information in One field,But not the other. This episode shows Twilight flaw of jumping to conclusions very well. I think when she gets mad at shining and Assumes the Worse foreshadows Twilights actions with Queen Chrysalis as cadence. Yes Twilight was right and Find Cadence,But Her jumping to Conclusions did lead to her yelling at her friends for not believing her when there talking,Shining and Celestia getting mad at her, and Losing her friendship with Cadence because of Chrysalis. After this episode,Twilight doesn't jump to conclusions anymore. Its show in episodes like The crystal empire,Magical mystery cure,Magic Duel and others She gets more facts and information about the problem she and hers friends are dueling with. I think A Canterlot wedding was the episode were Twilight learn not to jump to conclusions.

I think you ( Brony Notion ) should have put be considerate and understanding. If twilight's friend's would have more understanding to her and listened to her fears and accusations and gone back to lesson 0 they might have confronted Chrysalis together putting more pressure on her, to revile right then and there that she was in fact am impostor. And i thought that it might have a little strange that even Princess Celestia turned her back on Twilight without even talking to her about what she did. They were close friends and she didn't even hear her out...I also re-watched the episode and I noticed that Celestia was acting very petty or ( un-princess like ) when Chrysails showed up. She didn't keep her princess act up when she reveled that she was evil, i'm just wondering why that is and think it mite be something to look into. 

Oh yeah, MMMystery on the Friendship Express. You know, get evidence before accusing someone because jumping to conclusions can be a dangerous thing to do. Just saying.

Next theory, are ponies carnivorous or herbivores? Hint remember the episode when twilight only had two tickets to the galla, look at the sandwhich she orders, hint 2 episode of celestias phenoix. In rainbow rocks movie twilight explained about the three sirens and they were dragon's and then they banished to another world that means canterlot high and they were turned in to humans but when spike went there he was turned in to a dog but why the three sirens were turned in to humans but spike didn't or why the three sirens didn't turn in to a dog? Wait.. I think that's what the christalis timeline was.. If crysalis didn't banish her she wouldve just given up right? She didn't show up to the wedding and went back to ponyville so real cadence is still trapped and they couldn't repel the changelings next best option? Elements of harmony! But they don't work without harmony.. Twi is back in ponyville so they can't reach out to her in time.. Therefor, the changelings won. All because they didn't believe twilight. I can imagine the main 6 trying to apologize but twilight, knowing this is the second time this happened and SHE has to face consequences, she doesn't forgive them. and that my friends, is the crysalis timeline.
