FOOD BRAIN nazvao je Shinki Chen - karizmatični japanski gitarist - i poznat je kao novi rock projekt Polydora Japana (prema glasinama projekt je izvorno trebao biti nazvan Brain Food - ali Shinki je pogriješio).
Ikuzo Orita, direktor Polydora, u svom je umu zamislio neke projekte japanskog progresivnog rocka. Da bi realizirao jednog od njih, nagovorio je Shinkija da bude frontmen, a oko sebe je okupio neke poznate japanske glazbenike - Hiro Tsunoda (bubnjevi i udaraljke), Hiro Yanagida (klavijatura i orgulje), Masayoshi Kabe (bas).
Kao što je to bilo početkom 70-ih i zora japanskog rocka, tema koja se ne može previdjeti je kultura droge ... Grupi s ova četiri talentirana muškarca - nekim ozbiljnim session glazbenicima i drugim narkomanima putnicima - možda nedostaje jedinstvo, ali nisu imali problema s bacanjem bombe iz snova. Njihov jedini komad Bansan bio je izlazak japanske psihodelične stijene i popločan put za mlađu generaciju.

FOOD BRAIN named Shinki Chen - a charismatic Japanese guitarist - and is known as polydor Japan's new rock project (according to rumors, the project was originally supposed to be called Brain Food - but Shinki made a mistake).
Ikuzo Orita, director of Polydor, imagined in his mind some projects of Japanese progressive rock. To realize one of them, he persuaded Shinki to be a frontman, and around him he gathered some famous Japanese musicians - Hiro Tsunoda (drums and percussion), Hiro Yanagida (keyboard and organ), Masayoshi Kabe (bass).
As it was in the early 70s and the dawn of Japanese rock, the topic that cannot be overlooked is the culture of drugs ... A group with these four talented men - some serious session musicians and other drug travellers - may lack unity, but they had no problem dropping the dream bomb. Their only piece of Bansan was the outing of Japanese psychedelic rock and paved road for the younger generation.
Unfortunately, their incredible flexibility and technique could have prevented the project from breaking up after a short flowering period, despite Ikuz's dream. LADISLAV&Z...

Ikuzo Orita, directeur de Polydor, a imaginé dans son esprit quelques projets de rock progressif japonais. Pour réaliser l’un d’eux, il a persuadé Shinki d’être un frontman, et autour de lui, il a rassemblé quelques musiciens japonais célèbres - Hiro Tsunoda (batterie et percussions), Hiro Yanagida (clavier et orgue), Masayoshi Kabe (basse).
Comme c’était le cas au début des années 70 et à l’aube du rock japonais, le sujet qui ne peut être négligé est la culture de la drogue ... Un groupe avec ces quatre hommes talentueux - certains musiciens de session sérieux et d’autres voyageurs de la drogue - peut manquer d’unité, mais ils n’ont eu aucun problème à larguer la bombe de rêve. Leur seul morceau de Bansan était la sortie du rock psychédélique japonais et la route pavée pour la jeune génération.
Malheureusement, leur flexibilité et leur technique incroyables auraient pu empêcher le projet de se briser après une courte période de floraison, malgré le rêve d’Ikuz. LADISLAV&Z...
