The Zebra's Spell (Zecora fan music)

It's an interesting sound you present, because it's melody is how we often hear the middle east portrayed. There's also a devious nature to it, mysterious in a creepy way. While Zakura is portrayed in that manner at the beginning of her introduction episode, I feel that she is very earthy and has less of a wavering, snake like tone. I would recommend

Great sound and instrumentation, love your beats, though I think the thing it struggles with most is the melody. About 1:56 the melody was way more catchy and fit better. No complaints after that at all. Felt very Egyptian as opposed to Savanna-African though.

It sounds more Arabian than Egyptian, but the drums defiantly give it a tribal feel...and then the Scottish bagpipes...

@EdenandDeon ...looking into more vocal and earthy sounds. such as Didaadi "Love chant" from Africa, or as a slightly more westernized reference the chants from the Lion King musical, even Nahawa Doumbia's Didadi Kana. You can type these titles in and find them on Youtube. Of course, this is just my opinion, and I'm only going off the fact that she's a Zebra. You did a very good job with the music though, it sounds nice!

@psychgoth Aww.. sad, I looove nightwish. If you haven't heard any Nightwish you should check them out. Dark Chest of Wonders is the song that got me hooked on them and then End of All Hope. (There is a pony music video of End of All Hope). Btw, didn't know if you got my messages before. But if you at least read the most recent one, it has a link to a really good lyricist if you haven't already found one.

Andrea Libman said her name in a Tweet recently, and that's where we got it. She's also credited on IMDb. Brenda is name #0187764 (/name/nm0187764/), and Zecora is character #0268334 (/character/ch0268334/).

@dogman15 That's probably why, Andrea hadn't dropped her name at the time. It wasn't on the mlp wikia when I looked there.

I know what you're getting at, but what I think is this sounds more Egyptian than say, South African. Egypt may be in Africa, but zebra still don't live there, y'know? It's a good song all the same, but not necessarily accurate.
