It honestly feels like kids shows are becoming more and more universal. I grew up with Gumball, and it’s as entertaining now as it was when I was a kid. Some shows like Gumball are more clever and entertaining than actual adult cartoons because of how creative the writers need to be to slip in adult humor. And maybe I’m a man child but the comedy in this show just works in general. Low brow humor can be pretty hit or miss but the writers really nailed it here, at least for me.

There are worse jokes in older kids shows, you just don’t remember cause you were a kid
