I like the codes for this episode. The long one in the credists translates to:
SOOS, LIKE A NOBLE GOLDEN RETRIEVER, EVENTUALLY FOUND HIS WAY HOMEWARD, AND BEFRIENDED A TALKING BULLDOG AND SASSY CAT ALONG THE WAY
Which is a refference to the Homeward Bound movies I believe. :P
The other one reads: CARLA MCCORKLE RETURNED ALL HIS FLOWERS MARILYN DIVORCED HIM AFTER ONLY SIX HOURS BEATRICE SLAPPED HIM FOR BEING A CAD OLD GOLDIE'S THE BEST GIRLFRIEND STAN EVER HAD
To be fair, he does want to do the right thing several times, but Stan's "advice" convinces him otherwise. He also wasn't really 'dating' the girl from upside down town, she was just gonna tell him what happened. Still, he was the one who ultimately decided to follow Stan's advice, so he's not innocent, either.
Just putting this out there: When you're done with Gravity Falls, there's a newer Disney show called The Owl House, that's kind of a spiritual successor to Gravity Falls, and it features the voices of Bill Cipher and Katara from Avatar as major characters. I hope you'll consider checking it out.
This is my least favorite episode of the series. Not because it's bad or anything, it was just poorly placed. It was meant to air much earlier in the season, which would have it make more sense, but instead, because of delays, they aired it amidst a bevy of plot-heavy ones so it kinda sticks out and seems underwhelming (to me) there. It also made a better fit between his talk with Wendy and the episode with Pacifica rather than after it. The episode placement also made some folks wonder if Bill was going to use Soos for his plans.
Mabel was always irritating, but starting the second season, it really started to get to me. She always ditched Dipper or put him into awkward or terrible situations. And now she is calling him a betrayer after all of her summer romances? What kind of a sister and a person is she?

Kinda sad cuz that’s how I found out about MLP
2 likesWait what do you mean by removing? As far as I’m aware Netflix only owns the g5 movie. Not seasons nor any specials
2 likesshit is about to go down soon
1 likeGotta say, I don't like this episode. Dipper is a right asshole in this one. It just makes me feel extremely uncomfortable.
3 likesWhich I guess is the point, but Dipper was just really weirdly characterized here.

My headcanon groups them all together as a movie. Imagine if we could've seen that on the big screen! :O

1 likeI still shudder at the fact that Darlene has clearly killed several men, and continues to 'daily'...
1 likeYou got through the worst episode. Onwards and upwards.
