The end dimension is always the same one, but you are able to respawn the dragon and get another egg that way, so wrong formula, right answer haha
Its like a nether portal they all lead to the same place but you can respawn the dragon with 4 end crystals

I joined wayy after it was crafted, meaning I could only steal it.
You can just use end crystals to re-summon the dragon, therefore getting even more eggs

Actually no. The ender dragon doesn’t place a new egg if it’s not the original.
It dev drop one off it’s respawned so you either have to dupe the egg
