So I found this on EQD a while ago and I really loved it, so I downloaded it and have listened to it a couple times. Then on a recommendation from a friend I started reading the Winningverse a few days ago, without knowing the relation to this song, and love it so much I caught up and read most of the side fics. Then, today when I went back and listened to this I realized it was about Star and Sparkler, and my mind was blown upon that revelation! Funny how things work like that sometimes!
Thanks! With this and "Blossom" I was really worried about getting the characters and their feelings wrong. It's a challenge when I don't know where you're going to take the story, so it's good to know I haven't totally blown it :)
I said I'd be back, and I am. This song is splendorous, magnificent, and dazzling. Still I can think of few words to describe its amazingness, even after looking for such descriptors in a Thesaurus. To put it another way, this is one of my favorite songs, and has been for a good while. I do hope you continue to make such spectacular music, and I apologize for my enthusiasm with my vernacular.
Very nice. Have to say, I really like what you've done with the lyrics, where it feels like you catch the essence of the characters without it ever feeling excessively tied to the story itself. It's the best sort of reference; enjoyable if you've never even read the story, but you get more out of it if you have. Plus, getting songs based on Winning Pony is always cool.
YAY, a new Time Baby song!
The first brony song I ever listened to, after I began watching the news on EQD and the fanwork in general daily on July 17th, was from you and I always hoped that you make more songs!
Thanks for a new one! Love your songs!
Somehow it's funny.
I listened to your first three songs exactly on the 3rd day of my new job and now I listened to your newest song exactly on the day on which I got informed that I loose that job.
Maybe you have to do something with my destiny.
Well, the Cure and the Cocteau Twins are my two favorite bands, so I'm glad to know my love shows through. Even though, in this case, I was going for more of a Chapterhouse/Ned's Atomic Dustbin feel.
Don't know Chapterhouse or Atomic Dustbin, so I can't compare it with them. Anyway, the lead guitar reminds me a little of the one in "Cut", and the rest of the instrumental reminds of the cure in that it's sort of punky yet atmospheric at the same time.
This is a great song. A really great song. Too great, in fact, to be done justice by the word great alone. But unfortunately, I can't think of any better adjectives right now. I might be back. Maybe with a thesaurus.
On an unrelated note, if you don't mind Heavy Metal, ever consider doing a song in the style similar to Deftones? If you aren't familiar with them this is a sample song, I mean something like this: /watch?v=ZL4MGwlZuAc

0 likesSweet smooth and wonderful song. Now, I'll have to read this fanfic (actually put in my list) to understand it better.
0 likesXD the scenes with them! I love this song by the way and all of your winning pony music!

0 likesReminds me a little of The Cure, but that might just be because I was listening to them last night.

0 likesGlad to know I have someone with way more Twitter followers than me on my side :)
0 likesI love the song, but you should probably release a remastered version sometime in the future. It is hard to understand the lyrics
