But hey, epic as usual. How long does it take to get so many fitting scenes together? Often enough even the lip sync fits perfectly, I can't imagine this being easy.
I've been editing with scenes from the show for several years now (over six!) and have become accustomed to the lip flaps. If I'm striving for perfect lip sync, it can take me hours to finish short sections. However, if I am doing more broad strokes, as I was for this project, getting entire scenes (like the intro lip sync) can take as little as a few minutes.
The furthest I've ever really pushed my lip syncing was with my PMV for Not Afraid by Eminem. That one was incredibly difficult, and I had to re-watch many episodes of the show to find appropriate scenes with fitting lip flaps. Sounds like "oo" and "ah" look very distinct from each other, so it was a lot of transcript reading and episode watching.
A project like this is very simple though, and only took me a few days to complete. :)
Screw you for making me check Discord, Wyatt. Lol, jk. For the most part this was pretty simple, even though I was expecting something darker and faster paced. Solid little PMV overall. Even though it's under 3 mins long it felt longer like you really made use of the limited time and fit a lot of stuff into a shorter time. It was pretty risky using Equestria Girls there, and typically I hate when people crossover people and ponies in PMVs, but it didn't feel too bad since you used the RR intro instead of too much footage from the actual movie. That part was good. I wasn't a fan of the intro, though. You got something in the works for the Bronycon contest?
The color correction and light rays were great and worked well despite the variety of clip sources
Yeah, I'm working on a project for BronyCon, but the deadline is so tight, I'm not positive I can make it. If I don't, I'll finish it and upload it as a normal PMV though. After that, I might just hang up my hat.
Awesome!

1 likeNice experiment with the visuals. VERY strong! Though, the choice of scenes could have been better in some areas.
