O.O i love this... it perfectly gets the feeling of the FoE universe. which over the summer of reading them has made me a bigger fan of the equestrian wasteland than i am of MLP lol
I personally love this song, it's a war song. It's great. It encompasses how strong someone can be and yet ho the organisation or kin they surround themselves with can be a fragile as glass, shattering at the slightest tap.

Id like to visit equestria wasteland because it seems more easy to fight the good fight there. It is more... simple. Just shoot some monsters, just find supplies for settlement, just do some good - and you are good. It is in a some degree better that tangled mess of agendas and interests of factions of "civilized times" when helping someone would be equal to spoiling them.

@Adage That guy is completely wrong. The fic is based on the first two seasons so Discord is there when the war starts. More specifically he is mentioned in chapter 43 (although I couldn't tell you where since its a 30k plus chapter). His fate after the war is unknown however at least in the FO:E canon
Basically he is mentioned, but it is suggested that he was never freed from his stoned prison, and was moved elsewhere. a few fanfic do dive into this, but the only one I have read that has is Project Horizons, which made it an excellent plot twist.
It's mentioned in the later chapters of FOE that he's suspected to be wandering the Equestrian wasteland, putting random loot in desks and wastebaskets like a demented, post-apocalyptic Easter Bunny.

Generaly next choice depends on expectations. Homelands is great fic for one who want to get rest from constant action. It describes travel to vaist foreign lands perfectly. For great crazy adventures - Fallout Equestria Memories. For story of coming to age - Hooves of Fate. For story of (magicaly) redeemed raider - Guise of Chaos. For tale of first decade of the wasteland - Ditzy Doo Chronicles. There isn't next main fic.

@lazyfireball7889 It's a story called "A Mare Worth Fighting For". It's a side-story that's considered canon by Kkat, and it's basically Chapter 20.5, taking place as Littlepip and Homage are having sex.
The scene represents a point of especially strong resolve on Littlepip's part. It's a good read, and if you aren't seriously bothered by clop I highly recommend it as part of the official story.

Hes a hallucination (I think I'm near the end of chapter 20 in project horizons) of Blackjacks and is my personal favorite side character in the story besides P-21 as of yet

Ebony Eclipse the phrase war never changes isn't referring to the history of it. it's referring to the means behind it. always one another trying to destroy the opposer. a struggle for power. war is war. no matter how it changed over history. the means are all the same
